Morning from France. Thank you so much as one of those who requested this. 😉👍. If you love big museums then visit the National Museum and Ayala Museum. There you can see the pre colonial arts. These presentation is to show case your priorities. By the way each regions have different culinary specialties and languages. Most of the indigenous are in the South in Mindanao. Remember the Philippines was a melting pot even during pre colonial and adding colonial periods, the diversity of the country and its culinaires.
Philippines is soooo beautiful. I miss travelling. Yes there are lots of seafoods buffet and any type of buffet in the Philippines in reasonable prices.
@The Commodity just get your diving licenses in the Philippines, I did that 22 years ago and it was the best decision I made. Every diver back in the states said it was better to do it over there than here in the US (unless you are near Florida). Anyhow, it is usually less than $300-$500 and can be completed within a week.
There is no place like the Philippines, guys., Pandemic is everywhere but fun on these islands never stops. You never get hungry if you know how to fish , and never get thirsty if you know how to climb coconut trees 🌴 they’re everywhere. 😀. The smell of their organic chicken barbecues.. The video is basically every provinces of the whole country from up north to down south. Yes do we have lots of seafood buffets starts at 20$. If I may add start from Cebu City which is in Central Visayas since it's in the center of the Philippines which means you can navigate better either going north or south. It's also the birth place of Christianity here so you will know the countries history as well. It's also next to the island of Bohol were the "Chocolate Hills" that you mention are found. It's a mixture of City life and nature so you have a mix of both worlds in one place without breaking the bank.
Miles and Phezz we have 3 archipelagos, they are Luzon Visayas and Mindanao. The provinces featured first were from Luzon like sand dunes, windmills, rocks formations, hundred islands, old houses and churches, and beaches too. We are now in normal state but we still were facemasks in public places and indoor resto, malls and offices. U can look into the websites of Philippines Tourism Authority and ask questions about new guidelines entering Philippines. Little islands with white beaches are in Visayas region.
You are welcome to the Phil. Even it is cheap here, you need a lot of money if you want to visit most of the islands because you travel by plane reaching those island. If you want yo stay in a nice hotels and eat a high class good food, it is really expensive.
Yes we consider that as an island. Only that it's not habitable. And we also have plenty of seafood buffet here. We're basically surrounded with water so our supply is abundant.
it is an advertisement of what you expect in the philippines. Each of those Ads does promotes a specific island, city and towns. A glimpse of a concise demonstration of geographics neighboring towns and what they had best to offer for the tourists.
Buffets in the Philippines are between $20 to $25 per person and it usually already includes seafood. Vikings Buffet near the Mall of Asia is a good place to consider. The most expensive buffet is priced at around $60-$80 at the Spiral buffet in Sofitel
Actually, diving license is cheaper and much faster in the Philippines. What takes you a week in the US, you may get in a day out there. Plus renting equipment would be cheap so you don’t have to lug any equipment.
It was a tourism ad showing different places you can visit in every region of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. From north to south, it offers different kind of adventures that only proves why the Philippines is the Pearl of the Orient. From sunrise to sundown, from dusk til' dawn, it's wonders never ceases. From one island to another, it welcomes everyone with warm smiles and kindness. How the people's tenacity stood the test of time just like it's mountains. The message was "stay at home, dream and wake up in the Philippines".
FYI, Born on Fourth of July by Tom Cruise was film on that location in the beginning of the video, for scenes set in Mexico specially that particular desert. As well as, other areas of the Philippines stood in for scenes set in Vietnam.
If u have the opportunity to come and visit The Philippines do include in your lists our island Catanduanes and u can travel by plane for about 1hr and 45mins from NAIA T3 and you will love our island situated in the bicol region. Have fun and enjoy watching guys❤
Also try to check the BATANES group of islands in the upper part of Phillippines. Sadly they didn't include in that video as part of tourism ads. Btw, thanks for the review and hopefully you can visit my country soon. More power to your channel and God bless.
T o your question? Its not considered an island, its only a 'sandbar'. Incidentally, that particular sandbar is an attraction that can be seen, and reached in the island of Camuigin, where there are 7 active volcanoes, and 5 towns. It is located technically in the Visayas, but much closer to the big island of Mindanao as well.
That historical building you were looking at is located in corregidor island-used to be a heavily guarded camp for american troops w/c was the last island camp to be surrendered to tue japanese troops during the war. Those buildings are battle ruins. You'll still see canyons and tge like there.

The Ad start from the most Northern part of the Country in Luzon island then ended down to the southern most part of the country which in Mindanao Island.. This ad is divided in to 18 regions, and every region offers different things from the nature, food, culture and dialect
Some "Names" of the places you read there are actually the names of the provinces featured in Region 4-A. CALABARZON is comprised of CAvite, LAguna, BAtangas, Rizal, QueZON. Region 4-B, MIMAROPA is MIndoro, MArinduque, ROmblon, PAlawan. :)
Awww, you missed the slogan of this tourism campaign, that thing that gives us that little tug somewhere deep within us... "Until we can travel again, stay home, dream and wake up in the Philippines."

My mom came from Central Luzon region where lush farmlands and bold mountain ranges are truly exquisite. My dad is an Eastern Visayas native where water wonders and mystic rural life are its crowns! And yes, we have both shrimps and prawns! 🤗
The answer to your question if its an island even if its 90% submerge was its mostly submerge because of the hightide and in lowtides it will not be submerge by 50%.....we have more island on lowtides and less island on hightides....tnx.....
in philippines you can found.. seafoods and so many tropical fruits.. one of that are one of the sweetest mango in the world.. philippines had so many island.. compost of 7601 island..
I am a filipino but lives all my life here in US. But to answer your question if filipinod consider a small piece of land an island? And the answer is YES! Remember an island is a piece of land surrounded by an water regardless the size. Some of these island isn't inhabited yet...and the count of the island depends if its high tide or low tide. You gottah visit the country its beautiful and just a tip, do research first and make a plan on which place in your list you want to visit. Remember, there 3 major island Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Pick a couple location which you want to explore more. Because trust me there are so many but most definitely visit Siargao area in Mindanao and Palawan. Also, bring some skin cream cuz its very hot. Most especially if you visit during summer months. During summer season the airfare tends to be expensive. Also, don't carry a large amount of cash because credit card isn't available anywhere. And then don't be a victim of scam while you're there's. Enjoy and be safe.
The episode names on the upper left of the screen give the province or region that the episode shows. Some region names are acronyms of the provinces in that region: MIMAROPA = Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan. CALABARZON = Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon SOCSKSARGEN = South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, General Santos Many place names are spelled Spanish-style and are pronounced with simple and short Spanish vowels but the stress is on the middle or second-to-the-last syllable: Boracay = [b'-RAH-kai]; Siargao = [syar-GAHW]; Zamboanga = [zam-bo-WANG-gah]; Mindanao = [min-dah-NAHW].
Hi guys... that building that you are referring to is the American officer's quarters in Bataan (American Base). It was destroyed by Japanese bombings during WW2, during the fall of Bataan.

When you go to the islands mert with the fishermen when they come in from the sea in the early morning and they will lead you to where you can eat their fresh catch at very cheap prices
Seafood in the Philippines (preferrably in provinces situated by the Ocean) is a must! Delicious, cheap, fresh, and just simply the best. Seafood buffet is everywhere (expensive in Manila though).

Yes, from Guimaras is best of them all!

Some region names are acronyms of the provinces in that region:
MIMAROPA = Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan.
CALABARZON = Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon
SOCSKSARGEN = South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, General Santos
Many place names are spelled Spanish-style and are pronounced with simple and short Spanish vowels but the stress is on the middle or second-to-the-last syllable: Boracay = [b'-RAH-kai]; Siargao = [syar-GAHW]; Zamboanga = [zam-bo-WANG-gah]; Mindanao = [min-dah-NAHW].

Seafood in the Philippines (preferrably in provinces situated by the Ocean) is a must! Delicious, cheap, fresh, and just simply the best. Seafood buffet is everywhere (expensive in Manila though).
