I travelled with qatar in June 2022 in business class from Doha to Manchester on the 777-300ER and was very impressed with the q-suite and the impeccable levels of customer service from this world class airline.
Thanks Dan. We were lucky enough to go London-Adelaide and back in QSuite, a month before lockdown. Simply an amazing bucket list item and worth doing once in a lifetime. On a 6 hour layover, we paid modestly for the Al Safwa First lounge, which has since closed. An absolutely astonishing journey and so glad we just went for it. I find it always pays to learn you cabin crew's name. It is polite; and they are busy, and you get amazing service.
Flew London - Doha, Doha - Manila over the weekend, and upgraded to the QSuite for the last leg, and it was worth it! Still a tray serve for the meal, but hot towels are back, and so is the candle. Service was fantastic, and looks like it's slowly returning to normal (or they're gearing up for the World Cup). I completely forgot to have the Lemon Mint though, next time!

Who remembers Dan having this big beef with QATAR after they switched some of his Q-Suite flights with regular Business Class & then they invited him to Doha & the whole issue was forgotten & he's been raving about them since? They sure got their money's worth. PS, I'm not saying these aren't his true feelings.
I hear what your saying’, but the only thing worse than a free two days in Doha in the middle of a Gulf summer is two free weeks in Doho in the middle of summer. Chances are he’d have preferred a few free flights, but Dan seems to be paying for all his travel. Well, except for those flights to berate management in hot-as-hell Qatar.
They impressed me with their response to the feedback for sure. Since last year, they send out emails when there is an equipment change from Qsuite and allow you to rebook for free (if you booked through QR) which is precisely what I was pushing for😄

This is not just ur thinking, i flew from doha to seoul on q-suite. It was the best experience of my life. I have flown many airlines business class but none even come close to qatat airways. The free wifi and door was amazing but the business class lounge was the best lounge on any airport. If you guys have an opportunity u should definitely try it.

@@Romans8-9 base on my observation a roundtrip ticket doha to manila is around $1700 its 9 1/2hours flight. Another thing if u book online u will get 15% discount on duty free items too.

5:33 The rear facing seats are great as they are further away from the aisle. Only downside is that you have to remember packing up all your stuff before landing. Otherwise phones, laptops, amenity kits go flying once the plane decelerates on the runway 9:19 What I dislike about the Q Suite is the position of the powerpoints. When getting in and out of the seat, you have to be careful to not knock them. I destroyed a MacBook power adaptor that way.
I was booked in Qsuites for my cancelled trip to Africa in 2020. Gosh, hopefully in 2023. For now, at least I am back to doing local road trips (8 days, 11 days) in Northern California. And a Seattle to Alaska cruise in May. When I fly up to Seattle it will be my first airplane trip in a year and a half! My hands were shaking just making the reservation. LOL. But I must say, checking into a hotel for the first time on my road trip, how wonderful! It was only a Holiday Inn Express, but it I liked how they explained on the website how food options and other things would work, as we try to still get Covid under control. Some day.... Qsuites. Until then, I experience them though people like you. Safe travels Dan and Ford!

I got an upgrade offer for the same leg (DOH->AMS) next week for around $300 . This is the first time I try business on any airline, I hope the experience will be as good as yours.
I’ll be flying back home for vacation in the Philippines next month. This will be my 2nd time flying in Qsuite. Indeed, it is the best business class out there.

Just for an update! Flew on the exakt same configuration of an Aircraft (in the middle seats). Everything is back to normal, from the towels, little candle, dining and so on. This was the outmost insane flight experience ever, and if anyone ever gets a chance for a fair price, TAKE IT.

At first I thought I was on your flight as well since recently I also was on QR273. But I wasn't since I had a bus gate. Something which still seems strange to me for such flights. Qsuite is great, so much more comfortable compared to the current 787 BC. But the crew always calls you by name and interactions are still possible but depends on the situation. I was already happy to be in the air again! Qsuite is king!
I may fly with Qatar Business Class from JFK to DOHA to MALDIVES. I never thought to visit Doha before. Sounds awesome. I am just hoping I get an A380 or 787.
Yes at $62 for a bottle of hand soap. I think you’re absolutely right we all spend less on soap for an entire year. That sounds like about five years worth of soap if not more. But with notes of Ylang Ylang rosemary and more of course it’s fancy

To be fair, Qatar really took this feedback very seriously and launched the 787-9 business class suite, that Dan also reviewed last week.

Here you go. The challenge, I think, is that the A380s are grounded along with all of Qatar’s First Class seats.
I think Qatar Airways relies more on their business class/Qsuite. I wouldn’t recommend first class over Qsuite
For first class I feel singapore and emirates are better but qatar is best in all other classes
