Qatar Airways Qsuite BUSINESS Class & Al Mourjan Garden Lounge

- Today I'm flying with Qatar Airways in their Qsuite cabin on the 777 from Doha (DOH) to Amsterdam (AMS).
I start my journey off by checking out the Al Mourjan Garden lounge by The Orchard in the new airport extension. I then get comfortable in my Qsuite seat for 7 hours and show what's on offer from the meal service to amenity kit to sleeping.
I think Qatar Airways Qsuite is one of the best business class products in the world - let me know if you agree in the comments!

Nice review. I am going to be on the Qatar Airways A350 and 777 Qsuite in 16 days. 😊 You really can't go wrong with Qatar Airways business class service (Standard or Qsuite) 💯

I tried the Qsuite from London Transit Qatar and it was excellent, the best business class seat in the world
I flew with Qatar from London recently and I thought the lounge at Heathrow was great.
It was in the same Qatari cabin, excellent, and was in front of the gate. The plane was A350-1041 @@FlyManYann
I used to work in old al mourjan lounge, now it is getting better since I left 5 years ago

What a fantastic trip report. The Garden Lounge looks a great place to relax before a flight- thanks for showing us around in your comprehensive review. Very good video - really nicely done. I’ve had the pleasure of flying Q-Suite twice but the last time was 5 years ago. Really excited therefore to be getting the chance to fly Q-Suite again in a few weeks on the 777-300ER for the LHR-Doha-LHR legs. I’ll be flying the A350-900 on the Doha-Joburg legs where I understand I’ll likely be in the reverse herringbone configuration though with a small chance of getting a Q-Suite?

The Garden lounge is a great addition - it also has way more showers which helps with queues during the busy flight banks. It always got so hectic in the South lounge trying to get a shower. Enjoy the flight and lounge and thanks for watching!

Thanks - glad you enjoyed it! I stayed at the Waldorf Astoria in Lusail, just north of Doha. It's a new hotel and I really liked it. There's plenty of restaurant options (SushiSamba was my fav - gets very lively on Friday), the pools are nice and COLD (which is much needed in the heat), the spa facilities are top notch and it's the only hotel with a private beach in Lusail. There's also a kids pool area if you have children and a watersports section on the beach - the guys working there were great. I enjoyed the breakfast, there's both a buffet selection and also a la carte options. The Place Vendome Mall is just across the road for any shopping. The journey time to the airport is about 30 minutes by car. Enjoy your time in Doha!!
Qsuite is the best business class imo.
I think so too - I do want to try ANA's The Room business class seat though, looks like it could be a good contender. Although QR has a way better network.

That breakfast was quite the variety from samosas to tuna 😛 btw I know everyone loves Qatar’s Q suites but I am a side sleeper and I’ve always found them very uncomfortable for side sleepers. Something in the middle, that’s off, that causes an uncomfortable feeling. What camera do you use to film these vlogs. Looks great.
Yep I know what you mean, the mattress topper provided on overnight flights usually helps but for me I find the cubby hole annoying when turning from side to side. I'm currently using the DJI Pocket 2 for filming these.
I have the same issue. I find the premium seat more comfortable.
Can qr first class customers also access the LV lounge?
Great trip report! ... are both the south and Al Mourjan garden lounge available to all business class pax?
Yep you'll get access to both if you're flying in business class - definitely check out both if you've got time to burn on your connection but otherwise I'd just stick with whatever is closest to your departure gate.

Yes although I don't believe it is currently in use for anything (reserved for future use)
Hi.. i really enjoy this video. Excited to have our first experinces with Qatar bussines class Qsuites next December 2024. Will stay 9hours at Hamad international airport for next destination which is Amsterdam.
I saw in my Qatar apps there are 10 lounges provide for bussines class Qatar passengers.
Just curious .. could we enter and use more than 1 or 2 choices of the lounges during my 9hours at Hamad airport?
Yes you can access multiple lounges during your visit, and with a 9 hour connection I'd definitely do it. To be honest, the only ones I would recommend if you're flying in business are the Al Mourjan South lounge and the Al Mourjan Garden lounge (from this video). The other lounges you have access to won't be as good as these two. Have a great flight and enjoy the lounges! Thanks for watching.

Why dont you ask for slippers instead of going to the lavatory in socks?
Haha yeah you were right, on a more recent Qsuite flight I found the missing bits inside the socks! If I remember correctly they weren't offering pyjamas/slippers as this was a day flight but on a more recent overnight flight I got the pyjamas and slippers. (But yeah I know the toilet floors are nasty).
Space in too small. Bed is not confortable. Amenity kit not ideal. Food is just mediocre. Only good when at a good price. And you risk a plane change to the old fashioned business. Suites on rows 1 are slightly smaller. No more leather amenity kits, just a box.
problem is with that airline is that they dragged off every young women on a flight after some poor young girl had given birth in the toilets and left the baby . No doubt scared out of her mind . It turned out it had nothing to do with the flight .. absolute disgrace
It was an attempt murder by leaving a new born baby in bathroom 😮. Don't play it dumb. They were suspects.

The airline had nothing to do with this. The airport’s head of police made the (terrible!) decision to drag women from flights and to strip-search them. You can be certain that Qatar Air was not exactly pleased with what happened. As I understand it, the person responsible was let go.
So yeah, it is completely unacceptable what was done with these female passengers. But this was a singular event for which Qatar Air suffered commercially.
