Where did you get the three pack of reverse blade SL-infinity fans (your bottom intake fans) that have the combined connector for the controller? As far as I can tell they don't sell a 3-pack reverse blade set with that connector anywhere and when you buy 3 separate individual fans it comes with a different connector than what you show at 27:45.

The total cost of the build was aprox. $1570 or 1500 Euros :) As for the set up in the case, i put the AIO as exhaust through the side, 2 fans intaking from the back and 2 intaking from bellow, the idle CPU temp sits between 32/36 degrees and the GPU at about 30/32, with a room temp of about 24.
Would love to see if you’re able to pull off a build using the Lian Li Hydroshift LCD 360TL. Also is there a motherboard that has the rear port for an AMD build?
Have you been able to do any testing on thermals where you mount the AIO as an exhaust on the top mesh of the case instead of using the glass + side intake mount ? Really curious whether it’s worth migrating from the original O11D to this case but man this case sure is beautiful.
Awesome review Prawn, can you comment on the noise at all? I have a Phanteks XT View with M25 fans and it's really loud so looking to get this and get the fans you listed.
@TheProvokedPrawn gotcha just trying to find a use for those 3 fans but I understand they won't bring anything to the table besides extra noise. Thanks for the reply
What size screws would you use for the TL LCD fans mounted directly on a Kraken elite 360 that’s vertically mounted on a o11 Evo rgb case. I noticed the the screws that came with the AIO are to long and are hitting the fins on the RAD. The TL series fans have recessed mounting holes and I’m having problems putting those covers back on cuz of the head of the screw with washer.
Was looking at doing this for my next build. However don't aio manufactures recommend the pump hoses not to be installed the way you did it to stop air locks. (Damaging pump) better to be installed top mount ?
Thanks for the video. That case looks really nice, but I have a RM1000X Shift PSU, and with the way the PSU is installed, I'm not sure it would fit since the connectors would be at the top.
Hello! So im about to build my first pc, kinda similar to this one. I do have an nzxt kraken elite 280 with two lian li sl inf 140. My question is that , do i need to connect the lian li fans into the pump fan splitter and that one into the cpu fan header?
WoW, it looks fantastic; great job. How are the temperatures? I almost went with the Vison in July but opted for the NZXT H9 Elite for the top-mount fans.
Question: I'm thinking of using the Lian Li Galahad II LCD AIO and adding the LCD Uni fans on top of the rad (buying the triple pack). I will also be using normal Uni fans around the case (at least 5). Will I need to use both Lian Li controllers (AIO & Triple pack) when building to link these all up to L connect?
Hey Im almost at window installation and was wondering if window install is free ? I keep seeing youtuber playing ads that say to buy cheap window key. What is the point of buying window key if window installation is free ? Thank you in advance love ur channel got my first build ever coming up
Hello! Recently came across your channel and has become one of my favourite TH-cam channels. I'm building a PC for the first time using this case. I'm looking at buying the Lian Li Galahad II LCD AIO cooler. I'm trying to find out whether I need to replace the fans that come with that with reverse fans, or whether those that come with the AIO will suffice? Your video here has 6 reverse fans but not sure what I need to purchase. Can you assist please?
I'm new to pc building as well, but this is what I understand. For this vision case, the optimal airflow seems to be side&bottom intake air, and back exhaust. And to set the fans to intake air, you can either use normal fans but make them face the reverse direction (this wouldn't look as nice since you would be looking at the back sides of the fans), or use reverse fans as you mentioned. So for optimal airflow AND a nice looking fan setup, you would need 3 reverse fans on the side, 3 reverse fans on the bottom, and 2 normal exhaust fans on the back. AFAIK, the fans that come attached to the radiator for Galahad are normal exhaust fans, so you can either install the fans so that their back sides are facing front, or just replace them with 3 reverse fans. Personally, I plan on replacing the default fans with the reverse fans, and then install 2 of these 3 default fans on the back of the case, for exhaust. So my total purchase is 1 Galahad lcd 360, 6 reverse fans (leaving 1 exhaust fan as a spare). Hope this helps! If someone else can verify this it would be very helpful for me also :)
I’m torn on these fans vs the newer slv2. I know the Slv2 is a little bit stronger when it comes to cooling the radiator but is it by a noticeable margin? I’m going with reverse blades and I’ll have 3 cooling my galahad 2 AIO. How are these in terms of reliability months later as well? Also, thanks for all of your help. Your in depth build video gave me the confidence to actually try to build my first rig. 👍🏽👍🏽
The SLs are technically superior I think but I personally find the Infinity fans nicer looking and quieter. Also, in terms of longevity, most of the fans you see in the video are harvested out of my main build that I use daily and have been using since they launched. So they're fine!
so you have 3 fans as intake and 5 as exhaust? wouldn't it create a negative pressure? I am about to build in the same case soon and was thinking to put 3 bottom fans and aio fans as intakes and the two on the back as exhaust, what do you think would work better?
So I can connect a 24pin gpu either via 3x8pin pcie or the 12vhp port with a single cable? Does that work with every gpu and does it have any disadvantages?
For LIAN LI what happens if I need 2 CPU and 4 PCIe power cables in my build. Changing from the Sata to 6 Pin PCIe for power where do people get the 6 pin Pcie from if their power supply is already maxed out.
I don't believe so, but there are others www.asus.com/microsite/btf-hidden-connector-design/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAouG5BhDBARIsAOc08RQCrq7Z3SM7wL88SDerUgsbuwMkUEYNdpZnt7U-SuaaIRsz7dhg8KIaAi-mEALw_wcB
I have a KRAKEN X73 AIO , Can i connect the fans and radiator fans the same you did on that model AIO ? I plan on connecting lian li fans to the Rad and using Lian li fans as well in the case
Hello! That's an awesome build, I love how detailed you can be. My only question is (I know it's a common question). If 850w is enough for a 4080 super OC gigabyte, 7800x3d, b650e-e rog strix, nzxt kraken elite 360rgb, 4 qx120 fans, 3 tl lcd lianli fans, sn850x 4tb, gskill trident z5 neo rgb cl30 6000 (2x16gb), strimer extensions for gpu and motherboard, nzxt usb hub in a c8 antec case. My PSU is the a850g pcie5 msi mpg 850w. Thank you in advance.
Amazing detailed video, This might sound silly but regarding to the BTF GPU connector, is the motherboard also compatible with traditional GPUs with the connectors on the front or is it only limited to BTF ones? t hanks again!
@@TheProvokedPrawn Hoping for the same here. My 13900K failed. Did an RMA, they sent me a 14900K. That failed, but another RMA later, I got another 14900K. I ran all of them at lower power / temps too. Oh well. Hopefully the BIOS updates have resolved it.
I got an old ilan li rog xl do you think i can fit the new 800 series motherboard and cpu and a big psu for the next gen gpu. Has anything change with this with the ports or connection like front panel. with this old case vs the newer case ? This gonna be my first build so im a bit nervous i need a newer case
Are you sure it's exactly the same? The bottom fans and rad fans in this build are reverse blade. Other potential problems could be simple things like you've not fully mounted the cooler properly (screwed tighter), the bios needs updating (Intel Microcode issues), damaged thermal paste, etc
@TheProvokedPrawn I want to create a similar setup, but I want all the fans to show their good side. However, if I install them all with the good side facing out, they will all be set as exhaust. That's why I'm asking you.
I have the exactly same build, just another PSU and the G.skill TridentZ 2x16 Royal 7200 CL34.. (check those out.. drippppp, perfect match with the silvery/white BTF MB)
You clearly haven't seen this - th-cam.com/video/SCxZJtZj8k4/w-d-xo.html And yes, i didn't use the new Kraken because it hadn't arrived in time. It has now though :P
Insane amount of american youtuber influence, it shocked me. The bequiet lightbase 600 and 900 cases released literally at the same time as this O11 Compact and while i already can find a thousand reviews from the lian li, thers only one or two from the bequiet case! What a difference man! Europe doesnt have youtubers or reviewers lol.... It annoys me as i would like to see some comparsion between the two, they very identical in overall quality and feature sets.
I'm not sure what any of this means. Lian Li isn't an American company. I'm not American. i have a contact with Lian Li's PR but not BeQuiet. Sooooooooo, that's why.
@@TheProvokedPrawn Its lian li marketing influence then, seems like they are a much bigger company overall, sorry for bequiet they really get into the game again with their new cases and AIOs, but no marketing at all. so you have 3 fans as intake and 5 as exhaust? wouldn't it create a negative pressure? I am about to build in the same case soon and was thinking to put 3 bottom fans and aio fans as intakes and the two on the back as exhaust, what do you think would work better?
Does this case support a 280mm rad on the side? If it doesent I might get the standard o11 vision
Can you run push pull on the side with this compact version?
Yes, you can see the possibilities in my deep dive here- th-cam.com/video/SCxZJtZj8k4/w-d-xo.html
39:57 theres a big gap between thumb screw and hole. It turns endlessly. Theres something missing you skipped explaining.
Does the L-Connect 3 hub works with ThermalTake ARGB fans? Does it able to control it. Does the L-connect 3 hub comes with the Lian Li Case?
Doubtful
What' the total cost for this build. This is really awesome to watch
Specs are in the description so you could work it out for your region
Can i install 240 aio behind the side motherboard fan?? I bought the aio before this case release 😑
the rgb of your fans don’t look synced at all is that why you can change the order of them in L connect ?
Yup
i like lian li case....li'm thinking to buy lian li evo 11 xl...but i'll wait the official data on the size of the 5090 to be sure
They have to buy another PSU sadly
Hi, does this motherboard have a black version?
Sure
I have a question. Do NZXT cam and L3 Connect interfere with each other? or are there no problems
@@Dave_Bully_92 no issues
@@TheProvokedPrawn ok perfect. thank you. 👍
If in doubt, use a PSU wattage calculator
Amazing detailed video, This might sound silly but regarding to the BTF GPU connector, is the motherboard also compatible with traditional GPUs with the connectors on the front or is it only limited to BTF ones? t hanks again!
@@tongoso yes you can use a standard GPU if you want
@@TheProvokedPrawn thank you, you're the best!
Wow, just Wow
Huh?
Is the Lian Li O11 Vision Compact case superior to the Corairs 2500x?
Not tried that Corsair case, so can't say
@@TheProvokedPrawn i think you've done it already. The Corsair 2500D and 2500x are identical
th-cam.com/video/hioLnvtUYh8/w-d-xo.html
oh lol, I forgot about that one. Sorry it's been a while and I've done a lot of cases lately. I'd choose the Vision Compact personally
Nice build, and awesome case! Haven't had any issues with the 14900K, or you just had one laying about for this build? Cheers!
I had issues but bios updates sorted it
@@TheProvokedPrawn Hoping for the same here. My 13900K failed. Did an RMA, they sent me a 14900K. That failed, but another RMA later, I got another 14900K. I ran all of them at lower power / temps too. Oh well. Hopefully the BIOS updates have resolved it.
@@WSS_the_OG make sure you get the latest one th-cam.com/video/Wupx-v2OGXA/w-d-xo.html
@@TheProvokedPrawn Thank you sir. Again, gorgeous build. Love what you did with the AIO tubing especially.
How are the thermals and noise in this case? I’ve been thinking about downsizing my MSI Mag Project Zero case build into this one.
You can see the performance here th-cam.com/video/drDwetoMVXo/w-d-xo.html
@ Yeah on testing right? I was wondering if you’re still using it and how it’s holding up.
Do you think push pull is possible on the side?
Should be. But doesn't improve much.
Yes. I showed it in my in depth video on the case
if i did the same but with a 4080 super should i change anything?
No?
Nice video
Thanks
I have one question! won't it affect the aio in long term if the radiator pipes are at top?
in my experience it really doesn't matter. It would have to be an extremely long time.
@@TheProvokedPrawn thank you sir😁👍
Normally, AIO products are warranted for 3 to over 5 years. I think we can replace the product with a new one during this time. Don't worry too much.
@@TheProvokedPrawn thanks for the answer! btw the build is looking awesome.
do all of you keep your PC on top of your desk? anyone running it under/hanging from the bottom of the desk?
I put mine on the desk to avoid sucking dust out of the carpet but you can get under desk mounts
Lian li needs to make a power supply with built in controller for LCD fans. It will be so much cleaner. you already have the USB etc.
ive got this exact set up but my temps are horrid even on high rpms.. :( 48 idle currently.
Are you sure it's exactly the same? The bottom fans and rad fans in this build are reverse blade. Other potential problems could be simple things like you've not fully mounted the cooler properly (screwed tighter), the bios needs updating (Intel Microcode issues), damaged thermal paste, etc
Yeah I have reverse on my radiator and bottom . Il buy some new thermal paste and give that a go. Thanks for the reply!
@Hodgey10 th-cam.com/video/UjosJxhkVYw/w-d-xo.html
And this th-cam.com/video/sVEXd-Wp8FY/w-d-xo.html
You bought reverse blade fans?
I have them on the side and bottom. I didn't buy them but you can.
@TheProvokedPrawn I want to create a similar setup, but I want all the fans to show their good side. However, if I install them all with the good side facing out, they will all be set as exhaust. That's why I'm asking you.
Can we mount the gpu vertically?
Yeah. Just get a Lian Li vertical mount for it.
@@TheProvokedPrawn awesome, thank you. I'm afraid that the clearance of the 2 fans at the rear will obstruct the vertical GPU configuration
Question? Why intel given all the degradation issues.
I just don’t like how this only supports an atx back connect motherboard and not an matx back connect.
Maybe because a case like this size isn't made for a micro atx motherboard! It's just ugly a matx board inside a huge case like this...
I have the exactly same build, just another PSU and the G.skill TridentZ 2x16 Royal 7200 CL34.. (check those out.. drippppp, perfect match with the silvery/white BTF MB)
Fancy
too bad you didnt grab the new nzxt kraken or get the lian lio aio
You clearly haven't seen this - th-cam.com/video/SCxZJtZj8k4/w-d-xo.html
And yes, i didn't use the new Kraken because it hadn't arrived in time. It has now though :P
verticle GPU would look better
Ok
Maximum aesthetics? More like maximum forehead
Its maybe a german behavior, like Endgame Gear making one of the best mouses on the market, but 9 ppl out of 10 never heard from them.
@@CoffeeGameMovie well I've heard of them and I've built with some BeQuiet things but not had the chance to do much. Though I did talk about the new cases in my recent news roundup
@@TheProvokedPrawn Just finished to watch this video, a really nice build step by step, grats! ehh this case is very nice too, decisions decisions.....
Tbf, Lian Li markets the crap out of its product. Tons of give aways etc. They know the game.
I'm new to building PCs but this has to be the worst case I've ever seen all way down to even having to build the case for the screws and miscellaneous pieces, they might as well send the case to you disassembled😂😂🤣🤣🤣 definitely a pass on this Lego creation 😂😂🤣🤣🤦🏾♂️
It really isn't
Ive been watching your detailed tutorials many times recently and decided to now subscribe to you because you deserve it. Thanks for your hardwork man. 🫡
Thank you kindly
@@TheProvokedPrawn Ohh btw! Just a suggestion, due to your very detailed guides & walkthrough, I believe it would be very nice to have you include the steps of what you should do once the build is done including bios update, xmp etc. Thank you!
It might be a little fiddley
