before seeing the cards, I immediately assumed he had a flush draw (though I thought he had higher clubs than he ended up having). the insta-call on flop and turn really felt like FD to me, I was actually surprised you thought it meant top pair
Love the blacked out cards. Keep them coming!! Sometimes it is hard to think about what you would do in a situation when you can clearly see what everyone has.
So happy for you Bart. I was kind of shocked that this was your largest win ever, but that goes to show just how lucrative it is to get a seat in this game.
@@CrushlivePoker He seemed so proud to 1) be thinking he would be good with a Q and 2) to think announcing that was sensible. Wild, no wonder you're so keen to push for 3 streets of thin value when you can, any good game and surely you'd have to slow down with TPTK?
On the last hand a fast call is indicative of a draw.. whereas Q thinks about whether to call if they’re ahead or behind. If Bart bets small to induce a bluff I like that option the best. Bet like 7-12k and tal jams and you get it all.
The snap call on the turn sceamed flush draw to me. I primarily play online and that seems to be a very common trend, probably becuase they already have $ ranges in mind for call/fold.
Very curious about your comment that you might consider folding to a turn check-raise for the second hand. It reminded me of @marcgoone easily folding AA to a turn check raise on a relatively disconnected board in a training video from some time back. Given the propensity for that move to be value heavy, would you consider it a good strategy to incorporate some turn check raise bluffs on relatively disconnected, maybe with mid-bottom pair plus backdoor flushdraws that brick out on the turn? I'm thinking about doing this against solid players who recognize underbluffed spots.
I don't understand why it matters so much that the turned T (6:50) is an overcard to the 8. It's not like you would ever V-Bet with something like ATcc - are you? Is that really a scarecard?
Amazing that Bart can take a simple strategy that Beats 1/3-2/5 and crush this game. Raise or reraise a premium hand, get called too wide by a rec player and bet bet bet.
Sometimes you say there is a coupon but I never find it, and I tried to sign up the other day with a coupon you said out loud but it asks for the payment before I can enter the code.
You are saying if the ante is 100 and you raise to 300 meaning if he calls his 295, he can win a pot of at least 700. Saying he needs at least 42% of outs to your hand to make this call interesting based upon first action only. That means at lowest hes allowed to call with a 7-6 suited kind of hand.
I had a session yesterday where I was down early in the session. Its one of my biggest leaks. Unlucky early on and then I play looser (even though my stack is smaller and I should be tightening up). Loose passive table with weak players I lose KhKd on 4 club runout, AQss lose to AA, turn sets twice and lose to flushes... what should I do? I end up punting (ex. limp jamming 22 up front for my last 30 BBs). Any advice on how to fix this leak Bart?
Sorry, but there is no pro magic trick that prevents you from tilting. You have to act like a grown man and control your emotions period. Something that should be relatively easy is that you don't think about losing or winning money/pots or being in the green etc. Instead you think about things how you can get an edge, your decisions, paying attention to details, being sociable with losing players. When you know you played well, it won't be too hard to stomach the inevitable losses. Focusing on results, it's near impossible to play winning poker and it's also terribly annoying. If you can't change this you honestly shouldn't play.
I still think it's INSANE the guy/Nick who literally owns and runs the show, then also can play/profit from it, esp given the questionable setup/integrity of this casino. I don't think he does cheat, but why even put yourself in that position then, play at another game that you don't run?
don’t like the sizing of your river bet on the second hand where you only get called by better and have to call off the rest if he hits his draw. he’s never calling with only one pair ✌️
One thing I noticed between the two hands, hand 1 - you seemed more relaxed, no hands infront of the face. Hand 2- you had your hand over your face the for a good duration throughout the hand. How many more times can I say hand... LOL Good wins!
I haven't watched this site since the Garrett hand. I watch mostly to watch Garrett, and Mikki . My question is will and when will Garrett return ? This hand as hard as it is to watch and believe that anyone in the world would call this bet . Could be life changing for Garrett. He may have believed that he was cheated could have psychologically destroyed Garrett. He's Great for the game and I do believe that he'll never be the same player again. I'm guessing that there hasn't been a way to prove that cheating has occurred therefore make a ruling and let's move on. I'm hoping that Garrett can return but for his sake just go on and enjoy your life finding something else to Entertain yourself . God Bless stay healthy and find peace in your mind. You will definitely be missed and you'll always be loved by your fans.
I have a hard time ever criticizing your play, which is 95% of what I do in the comments. Enjoy this 5%, but know you this: I'll be around, waiting. Patiently waiting for a mistake. And I'll be ready, with a comment so apt, so... something else as well, that the fellow chat pros will retire out of humility.
you had some really obvious physical tells when you weren’t a fan of a card. Check the footage back and see what I’m saying. Gotta be Antonius like, wishing the best for you!
Bart Hanson couldn't have possibly won at the poker table! He has a poker training site, and I've heard that people that have poker training sites only do so because they're washed up, and their strategies don't work anymore
Ok poker gurus, what's your play? 2/5 my local (only) casino. 2 limpers Inc villain in cutoff. I raise to $25 on button with AhJh. Blinds fold as does first limper. Cutoff calls. Flop is Js Th 7h He donks $50, practically pot. I call. Turn is perfect brick, 2c. He bets $50 again. In my mind I have him crushed as his repeat bet screams 1 pair imo. I raise him to $140 and he snap calls. River is also perfect, 4 of spades so JT724. He leads again now for $145. Forgot to say effective stacks but basically he left ~$100 behind and I had similar.... Call, raise or fold?
He had J4os 🙄. I thought it was correct to put him all in but he seemed extra confident on the river so I just called with 1 pair. Obv I wasn't expecting J4 but I guess that's y I asked - because in this game so many play any 2 and play agro if they have any piece..
Tal does fold Qx otr even AQ. He's being sarcastic to you. Watch almost every show and have seen him do it many times, against players much looser than you.
Are you betting the river in the second hand in this three bet pot if the front door club comes in on the river?
I feel like so many of his continues are flush draws.
Without getting check raised on the flop, I probably would. Check raise on turn, no. As played yes
please keep these pahwm type vids coming
Against that player, yea probably. Nice cash!

Amazing that people are calling Bart as light as they do here. Bart is neither loosey goosey nor eating a sandwich.
he understands that everything he does at a poker table conveys information
I didn't watch this stream but I would put my whole bankroll on Bart being in the top 3 lowest vpip for the night.
Have you seen these games? 😉
He needs to focus on not chewing gum or being Sammy Farha
One of Bart's greatest skills is getting into these games. 😍😍
Bart is a great poker player. I've learned a lot from listening to him reviewing hands.
Nice one coach. Always good to see those that put out into the community doing well.
So happy for you Bart. I was kind of shocked that this was your largest win ever, but that goes to show just how lucrative it is to get a seat in this game.
Did he say it was his biggest win? I just heard he has the biggest win for that session vs other players.
"That's why I bet 25 thousand."
LOL
“I would have called you with any queen, you know that”.

It screams "please don't bluff me"
Hmmm methinks Tals quick pacing calling the turn in the KK hand looks like a draw more than a Q. I thought this before the reveal btw

Yeah def works
Sounds like you might not be xr those hands otf enough
These reviews are great I love them

Super instructive video, thanks Bart!

Any black Friday discounts on your website?
Stay tuned we will start making announcements on Friday.. Bart
Your hand movement at 02:40 is a solid tell ;-)
In the second hand, whats your opion on overbetting like 10K? When he is defently calling a queen and most flushdraws.
You are saying if the ante is 100 and you raise to 300 meaning if he calls his 295, he can win a pot of at least 700. Can we size down river at lower stakes where people won’t hero call 3/4p with K3 OTR but will cry call a smaller bet?
thanks for these videos 🔥
Great content, thanks

So does Doug polk. They love poker. Don't pay the dealers.
you give craaazy live tells

Nice hand Bart. Standard 3 streats of value.
Kennedy is the type of player I'm trying to play like. You should try and get him on the CLP team and make some content.
Just a spewey whale who gets lucky from time to time
This guy crushes live poker
I guess it depends on how often I think he'd call your turn bet with a club draw and I'm not clear on that...
(nice vid btw - thanks.)
Bart is the man
Tal was favored on the flop in the KK hand.
The second hand, the straight would have been deceiving and other player gets paid
so you basically played AK and KK for the entire session? lol
AK on K high flop, standard 3 St bet man

25k why not jam river. He call either way with queens.
Monroe Fuches?

I knew the guy had 6c5c somehow...
First Berk Handbond!
All these comments on why are people giving bart action. Bart- " so, I'm down 10k". Lol
you had some really obvious physical tells when you weren’t a fan of a card. Check the footage back and see what I’m saying. Gotta be Antonius like, wishing the best for you!
What did you see?
I like that guy
The opponent lost a ton of money with a double gutter, no bueno.
Why can't we bet bigger en flop and turn. This guy will call wide

2 limpers Inc villain in cutoff. I raise to $25 on button with AhJh.

Raise him and put him all in for his 100 behind. what ended up happening?
Seems like a 3 barrel to me. Maybe flopped straight?!
He had J4os 🙄. I thought it was correct to put him all in but he seemed extra confident on the river so I just called with 1 pair.

Ole ATM Tal
lol at basically calling tal a fish..because he is
Wow this guy talks a lot
Bart is such a nit, why does anyone give him any action?
what % of hands did he play that night 🤣
How is that nit with 33% vpip?
