I am a world banknote collector and collect from 1970 and these days there is so many people killing the hobby due to they want to sell a banknote not at face value , but 8 times and even more the face value .They are just out to rip people off and make money. And the worst is when we have the new Mandela banknote they want it at face value to sell it at there mad prices. KEEP DOING YOU COLLECTIONS AND ENJOY IT!!!
I have basically only one rule when it comes to my collection: I never buy coins. Every coin I have has been either given to me, found by me or received in a trade with someone else. And yet, the value of what I've got is several hundred dollars and includes some rarities. I know my stuff :)

Same happens with coins. Scams are rife. Very sad. Good luck with your collection as well.
