Anybody that's going to give the Philippine government control of $10,000 or $20,000 USD of their money, pay an additional $1,400 process fee and pay annual fee of $350 needs to have their head examined.. There's other countries out there that you can get a lifetime resident visa for less than $2,000.. The Philippine is a third world country. None of that is evil. Obey authority.
What a nonsensical comment.
Thanks Steve for all you do it was nice meeting you in person at the PRA this the guy from Trinidad 🇹🇹
good video
So they are stopping the two year renewal for the SRRV card?
@@TomandAmyinthePI according to this, yes
Pi is getting more and strict about VISAS in general. Most countries now only want you if youre wealthy and will pay them. Even though you would be contributing to their economy in many ways. Much more than most of their own citizens. I recently decided I wont be retiring there.
So Maria Rose is going to be very busy now

500 peso or 500 US dollars? Personally I’m on a 13a
Not impresses with phillipines I would prefer to do a visa run anyway
Is jrc reputable
@@chrishughes887 I just know they are currently suspended as a Marketer according to the PRA list.
Please the SRRV visa is not the best thing out there. That should not be demanding that kind of money for a Retirement visa !! But there's always a sucker out there that going to pay that kind of money for a visa. 🤔
@@jerseyboy1791 It’s actually great !!! But if skinflint and 10K or 20K is a problem then you shouldn’t be coming anyway because you are broke. Just saying the truth. Many charge more too. The Philippines is actually very good for veterans
@@MrSteven5975 I am not broke The problem is I'm not a moron.I'm not going to make a fool out of myself giving my money for somebody else to control.. For the same amount of money you pay for the process SRRV visa I paid for Resident visa 😂
@@jerseyboy1791 But many don’t want to go that route.
jersey boy, well said and you are spot on. The SRRV is a money maker and a way to tie up $10k oe $20K of an expats cash for practically no bank interest. The PH needs to put on their big-boy pants and follow the lead of Thailand or better yet, Cambodia. The SRRV is a revocable visa, for which you have sunk $10K to $20k plus application fee AND renewal fees. Crazy.
My annual fee is $10.00 so I don't know where you are getting $350.00 from? Also, my renewal was for two years, until March 2026, and that's when I will renew again unless PRA sends me an email telling me I need to renew early.

I have 2-3 times on several videos
You forgot to mention some things, the guidelines you are reading when the new Visa laws come in, will become law! Anyone breaking the law in the Philippines will be removed, like yourself that has not registered your TH-cam channel with the BIR, (legal requirement since Sept2021) and is earning a income in the Philippines without a work permit, plus tax evasion which there is a jailable offence.
How do you know he hasn't registered or kept up with taxes?
Just tell us the key points
the key point is use mary ross, pay her $200 tip, and be happy forever in the Philippines😊
