- Using protein and moisture in a relaxed hair regimen is important for healthier stronger softer hair. Balanced hair equals less breakage.
I like to use protein every 2 weeks or monthly depending on how my hair feels. I always follow up with moisture after to ensure it remains hydrated and fortified. Remember, balance is key!
Always do and use what works for you :)

Happy Hair Journey💕 #healthyhairjourney
Thanks a lot for your video. Following my recovery from covid, I noticed hair was thinning. I changed my hair oil and shampoo to littlleexttrra cooconioon, and it significantly helped lessen my hair fall and promote hair growth. Additionally, I started using a scalp massager, which cleans the scalp thoroughly while shampooing.
This Cocoonnion hair fall kit and neem wood comb helped to decrease my hair fall to a great extent. I highly recommend this product to anyone dealing with hair loss.
What are y'all talking about never heard of it@@rajivthelion91
It's the thickness for me😍
Thanks sis😍
I use Aphogee protein that you sit under the dryer and let harden, rinse it out then deep condition with Shea Moisture Manuka Honey for 30 minutes followed by a leave in conditioner or serum, air dry then flat iron on the lowest of 5 settings!
Hi I was wondering if anyone knows what was mixed in with the protien treatment?
Coconut oil mixed in with the aphoogee 2 min reconstructor.
Finally someone who gets it. Im always getting protein overload and had sooo many setbacks. This will help me now to nit make the same mistakes.
😍🙌🏾
What Beautiful hair you have.
Love your channel 💗
Thank youuu 💕
Hello Val 🙂. I use heat to straighten my hair about once a month. Since the heat breaks down the proteins in my hair, I was wondering do I need to use protein every time I wash my hair, (which is once a month), or less often? Thanks, Lina.
Use protein when you need it. Try using Olaplex to help rebuild the hair when your planning to use heat. It will make a difference.
Beautiful, healthy hair
Thank you, AnnMarie!❤
I'm going back to using my tried and true leave in..Infusium!
I have been on the market for a hair steamer but I don’t see enough reviews on TH-cam
Nice vid! ☺️ Where’d you get your steamer?
I was thinking about that too. It’s a nice one
I got it for my birthday years ago, but they have similar ones online. Check my Amazon store for a similar one to mine.
@@HairliciousInc Thank you!
@@shegood7004 Right?!
On your full length wash day routine vid, you first went in with the protein treatment on dry hair, and then you shampooed. Here, you shampooed first and then treated your hair with protein. Is this new routine/update?
She shampooed first since she used a clarifying shampoo, which strips hair of all product and build up. You don't wanna strip the protein. Before, she wasn't clarifying, so it was ok to do her protein treatment first. 🙂
@@Cusp_of_magic thanks so much!
Which type of hair do you have in natural. Because when relaxed it all depends on your natural hair. If it is normally thick or thin.l,breaking easily or not... Thinking to go back to relaxer!😊 I live in a white town and treating my natural is sooo expensive.
Can you share the products in the protein treatment? 😊
Aphogee 2 minute reconstructor. Found it in her bio, links
@@JHam21do you happen to know how often one should do a protein treatment with the 2 min Aphogee protein? Thanks!
@@ms.t8313 I'm not quite sure.
@@ms.t8313probably once a month so you won’t have protein overload.
What does she leave in before airdrying?
Hey sweetie. My dear. Little sister. We are on this journey together.
Healthy hair goals 😍
GIRL YO STOP......I have to shave my head....🤤🤤🤤🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Um yeah, how often do you do this? 🤔
It’s in the description box hun.
YES IT WORKS 😊.
On relaxer day, can you recommend a good substitute for the joico hair recovery lotion?
ORS replenishing conditioner
So you used the keracare and oil after your protein?
Yes.
My hair crush 😻
Honoured. Appreciate you, sis✨🙏🏾
Is this done every wash day? Or is this done bi-weekly
Do you still put black Jamaican castor oil on your scalp?
Yes but recently I’ve been using an oil blend.
So no neutralizing shampoo is needed?
Hi Val, thank you for this but do you put the moisture on the protein conditioner?
🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹💋💕🙏🏽
Ty. I have looked hours to see when to use clarify
Where's the description box
Gorgeous 😍
Quick question:
From this Short, it appears you did applied your protein treatment, sat under the hooded dryer for some minutes stated here, got out after time was up, Then applied the moisturising treatment ON TOP of the protein treatment. and then styled.
Is this accurate, please?
I'm quite confused.
Someone kindly explain
Please watch the full video on my channel. It will make more sense, trust me💕
Where did you get that dryer? Please and thank you in advance.
Did you use ALL of those products in one wash day
wow!
Did u apply the moisture on top on the protein?
All that for fried hair yes please 💀
Do you prepoo before protein treatments??
If I’m clarifying, yes! Often times my protein treatment is my prepoo.
Chile if I had that much hair it would be relaxed also
Lol 😂
😍
Wow
Excellent!
Thank you.
hey i was wondering what were the products you used for the protein and moisture?
Coconut oil and Aphogee 2 min reconstructor.
Hello
Is this done on every wash day? Or do u alternate sometimes
Not every wash day. Just biweekly or monthly.
What do you use to clarify with?
ORS creamy aloe shampoo
You use them both on the same wash day?
Yes she does protein 1st with heat, & moisture conditioner with steamer.
Not every wash day just when I’m doing protein.
How often do you do a protein treatment
Do you wash off the moisture treatment?
Yes.
How often do you wash?
Weekly. But I do this routine every two weeks/monthly.
Does it matter if you DC on dry hair with the protein then wash out with clarifying shampoo and follow with moisture conditioner 🤔
I'm not the expert, but I think using CLARIFYING shampoo after would rid/strip your hair of the protein treatment then
