Kelsey Mitchell’s was the message that meant the most. Loved Temi’s too - so heartfelt and real. Kelsey has really grown as a person through the year both on and off the court and all for the better. Even though it was not always easy for her, I think Kelsey knows that this year changed her life significantly for the better because of her relationship with Caitlin. Was also so great to see all of her teammates celebrate with her in a genuine fashion. It is truly remarkable how Caitlin was able to break all of these records and help her teammates grow and achieve despite seemingly everyone else including the refs fighting against her. She had the world on her shoulders and as Kelsey said - she changed it.

Dearica Hamby who now plays for Los Angeles Sparks and is the former Las Vegas Aces player, Dearica Hamby claims that the Aces withheld agreed-upon benefits after she announced her pregnancy. She says that she was forced to vacate the housing that the Aces offered her in 2022, and that the school's tuition for her daughter's private school was no longer paid. The Las Vegas Ace's fans booed Dearica Hamby when she played them during the 2024 season with her team. It was the worst form of bullying have ever watched a fan base exhibit in the WNBA. The way that Dearica was treated as a young mother is the worst case of bullying in the WNBA... have mothers in the WNBA been treated badly like this on any other teams?

I tear up every time I hear Kelsey's section. Erica and Temi's words were emotional, too. Lyss was the most surprising. I really thought DCs nastiness would affect their relationship, but it seems they have a genuine friendship and I'm so happy for Caitlyssa.

It was the same treatment A'ja Wilson got for MVP. And I haven't searched out videos for the Collier and Carrington, but I'd bet it was the same for them. This is a nothingburger that people are trying to make into something. CC is great - but she doesn't deserve any MORE than what the others got. the "outrage" over it - is why people diss Fever fans. Complaining about stuff like this, lessens the impact of complaints about other factors that are more important. Besides all the above - I think it's pretty cool that she found out amongst her team - who CC herself knows is important to the game and her success - and have them celebrate with her in the moment.
@@stampincass Good call. At first, I was kind of pissed that the other 3 awards were given to Wilson, Collier and Carrington at their home playoff games and CC only got the phone call. On 2nd thought, CC never got the chance to have a playoff game at home ( thanks to the refs in game 2), or I'm sure she would have loved/preferred to get the award at home with her fans. But you're right, cool to share the moment with her mates. Side note: Can you imagine if the WNBA had given CC that award live at Ct in game 2, and all those CC fans there were going berserk. And I learned tonight that my 2nd Favorite Player, 2024 Storm Rookie Nika Mühl Tore her ACL in The Overseas League game She was playing in. She was having a Fantastic game Ballin out, but in the final minutes of the 3rd quarter, She went down Sideways after Stealing the ball. It was absolutely Heartbreaking watching the video of her cries as She went down in Agony. I Came on tonight heavy hearted, but saw that you did a show, and so happy I came on. Congrats CC! Yep, We all knew. I Loved the Teammates Rallying around CC during the practice when She got the News, You could easily see they were genuinely excited for her, and so happy together! Also I thought the video Tribute of CC’s Teammates was absolutely Warming and wonderful! There was alot of sincerity from them to her in there which reassured me of a few things. And yeah Adrienne, when I saw Kelsey speaking to CC that part When she said I’ll always have your back Court, I Immediately Felt that it was a Hint, intentionally or not, that Kelsey was Relaying a direct message that She Will Re-Sign with The Fever to Continue Building This Team together.
I too saw that report about Nika Muhl. It broke my heart to see her go down in her very first game with that team. I wish her rapid healing and a complete recovery.
This team had a magnifying glass put on them the entire season. They were all targets of the trolls and haters many of those from within the league itself. They all rose above it together and ignored the noise. Her teammates know better than most what she went through. It would have broken most others. This season, this rookie season, will go down as perhaps the greatest rookie season ever. Long past time for the haters within the league to accept the gift the league has been given in the form of Caitlin Clark.
They probably cut cards or drew straws or something to be the lone other vote just so Clark wouldn't be the unanimous ROTY. The WNBA is theater, not sports.

"I'm always going to be in your back court" - beside Kelsey being all class as usual, I hope this means that she's staying with the Fever. But no matter where she is, I'll always be her fan. I didn't even know any WNBA player before this year, but she's been so wonderful for me to discover as cc got me caring about some players in the WNBA. I must say that based on how the rest of the league treated cc, I'm still boycotting it and boycotting Nike, but there's hope for me yet.

My favorite was Kelsey too. I didn't care for her much at the beginning of the season, but over time I've come to appreciate her so much! I just love her. I loved to hear her, "What's up, Friend?" It's been a joy to watch these young women become not only teammates, but good friends.
@@kingskidgirl2 at the beginning of the season I didn't care much for her either. But then I learned her father had died just a couple of months earlier, in March, and I immediately gave her grace. It must have been unimaginably hard for her to walk onto that court and hoop when her heart was broken.
FEVER girls are part of Caitlin's success, but they all showed gratitude...very heartfelt. I think we feel so protective of our superstar because of her dazzling game, the crap she brushed off, her competitiveness on the court, and her humbleness off the court. Her teams love and respect her because they saw firsthand that she is as tough as she is vulnerable. Caitlin is very open with her feelings, which is why we are drawn to her. What she hides from us is her vulnerable side because, as a competitor, you never show your opponent your weaknesses. But she confides in those she trust (her teammates) for true support. They know her more than we do. But she gives us her true self in a way that is for us to figure that out. Consequently, there are those who love her or are envious of her.
Beautiful, @theadriennerossshow 🙏 - I am one of those people who hadn't watched the WNBA for 20 years, and took a look because of the Caitlin Clark hype. It was great to see how the league has developed, and that it might be on the verge of exciting changes to the styles of play... But my FAVORITE part of these past couple months has been learning about the women on this Fever team...!! As far as whole teams go, it seems like these women have the BEST HEARTS in the WHOLE LEAGUE! Honestly, none of them would be out of place among the wonderful people I am lucky enough to have as friends and family. If I could have ONE WISH, it would be that the FEVER organization make the unusual choice to keep this family of women together. I know it's professional sports... and it's normal for players to get traded around... But I'd **LOVE** to see this team make an unusual decision, and hold this team together, to see how far THIS GROUP can go, by continuing to build on the trust and camaraderie they've had since the Olympic break (too short!). It might take 2-3 years, but with GREAT COACHING (maybe an NBA head coach, to help the Fever continue to take the league in new directions), and great individual coaching for each player - so that they can live up to their potential for their roles (not in CC's shadow, but as dominant players in their own rights) - I truly believe this exact group of women could become a league powerhouse... Finals, at least, and a long-lasting force to be reckoned. In any case, although I don't know these women, I feel I've seen enough to be proud of each of them - to admire them - and to wish them all the best. I just wish they could have more years of growing together...

She was having a Fantastic game Ballin out, but in the final minutes of the 3rd quarter, She went down Sideways after Stealing the ball. It was absolutely Heartbreaking watching the video of her cries as She went down in Agony. I Came on tonight heavy hearted, but saw that you did a show, and so happy I came on. Congrats CC! Yep, We all knew. I Loved the Teammates Rallying around CC during the practice when She got the News, You could easily see they were genuinely excited for her, and so happy together! Also
I thought the video Tribute of CC’s Teammates was absolutely Warming and wonderful! There was alot of sincerity from them to her in there which reassured me of a few things. And yeah Adrienne, when I saw Kelsey speaking to CC that part When she said I’ll always have your back Court, I Immediately Felt that it was a Hint, intentionally or not, that Kelsey was Relaying a direct message that She Will Re-Sign with The Fever to Continue Building This Team together.
I too saw that report about Nika Muhl. It broke my heart to see her go down in her very first game with that team. I wish her rapid healing and a complete recovery.
This team had a magnifying glass put on them the entire season. They were all targets of the trolls and haters many of those from within the league itself. They all rose above it together and ignored the noise. Her teammates know better than most what she went through. It would have broken most others. This season, this rookie season, will go down as perhaps the greatest rookie season ever. Long past time for the haters within the league to accept the gift the league has been given in the form of Caitlin Clark.

"I'm always going to be in your back court" - beside Kelsey being all class as usual, I hope this means that she's staying with the Fever. But no matter where she is, I'll always be her fan. I didn't even know any WNBA player before this year, but she's been so wonderful for me to discover as cc got me caring about some players in the WNBA. I must say that based on how the rest of the league treated cc, I'm still boycotting it and boycotting Nike, but there's hope for me yet.

My favorite was Kelsey too. I didn't care for her much at the beginning of the season, but over time I've come to appreciate her so much! I just love her. I loved to hear her, "What's up, Friend?" It's been a joy to watch these young women become not only teammates, but good friends.
@@kingskidgirl2 at the beginning of the season I didn't care much for her either. But then I learned her father had died just a couple of months earlier, in March, and I immediately gave her grace. It must have been unimaginably hard for her to walk onto that court and hoop when her heart was broken.

FEVER girls are part of Caitlin's success, but they all showed gratitude...very heartfelt. I think we feel so protective of our superstar because of her dazzling game, the crap she brushed off, her competitiveness on the court, and her humbleness off the court. Her teams love and respect her because they saw firsthand that she is as tough as she is vulnerable. Caitlin is very open with her feelings, which is why we are drawn to her. What she hides from us is her vulnerable side because, as a competitor, you never show your opponent your weaknesses. But she confides in those she trust (her teammates) for true support. They know her more than we do. But she gives us her true self in a way that is for us to figure that out. Consequently, there are those who love her or are envious of her.

Beautiful, @theadriennerossshow 🙏 - I am one of those people who hadn't watched the WNBA for 20 years, and took a look because of the Caitlin Clark hype. It was great to see how the league has developed, and that it might be on the verge of exciting changes to the styles of play...
But my FAVORITE part of these past couple months has been learning about the women on this Fever team...!!
As far as whole teams go, it seems like these women have the BEST HEARTS in the WHOLE LEAGUE!
Honestly, none of them would be out of place among the wonderful people I am lucky enough to have as friends and family.
If I could have ONE WISH, it would be that the FEVER organization make the unusual choice to keep this family of women together.
I know it's professional sports... and it's normal for players to get traded around...
But I'd **LOVE** to see this team make an unusual decision, and hold this team together, to see how far THIS GROUP can go, by continuing to build on the trust and camaraderie they've had since the Olympic break (too short!).
It might take 2-3 years, but with GREAT COACHING (maybe an NBA head coach, to help the Fever continue to take the league in new directions), and great individual coaching for each player - so that they can live up to their potential for their roles (not in CC's shadow, but as dominant players in their own rights) - I truly believe this exact group of women could become a league powerhouse... Finals, at least, and a long-lasting force to be reckoned.
In any case, although I don't know these women, I feel I've seen enough to be proud of each of them - to admire them - and to wish them all the best. I just wish they could have more years of growing together...

I think CC not giving up in the face of hate, is actually her greatest strength. It's a superpower that she probably used to her advantage ... like Michael Jordan said in his Hall of Fame speech. Negativity added fuel to the fire. Both of them are just made differently.
