Dont think your suppose to glue that much of the dowel in, just the part thats in the bread board, the part of the dowel in the tenon should not be glued, and did you make your tenons loss for wood movement? It is a pretty table though.

Thank you! Yes you're right. It's hard to see but I tried to keep the glue off of the piece of the dowel that went into the tenon. And yes, the tenons are all loose to account for wood movement. And, the dowel holes in the tenons are slotted horizontally.
