Since March 2023, my wife and I started to renovate our first home down south of France (Cannes). It has been our dream to have a 100% self-made wood dining table. Thanks to all the channels of woodworking and DIY, especially this one, I managed to pull it off. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
The first half of the th-cam.com/users/postUgkx3ICSK6nSknaL_45CU2NmFSoXjarGMDiJ book is everything about wood: types, tools, finishes, setting up shop etc. The second half is all about doing projects for inside and outside of the home. The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.
I rally appreciate how you show your tricks/tips. As someone who is just getting into woodworking, you make it look like this is something I can actually do. Plus you’re kinda weird, and I like that.
as a woman trying to make wood project...I tried watching endles video but one of the most entertaining at the same time knowlegeble and full of simple info is your videos...please keep up the good work ..always looking forward fore more new videos..more power to you....
Man I love your work!!! If you ever want a free laborer for a week just let me know, I'd fly out in a heartbeat just to gain some knowledge. Myself and my fiancé are currently just buying tools one at a time as we can to try to get a shop started. You're a huge inspiration!!! Thank you for all the work and content you put out!
I'm a metal worker who is trying woodworking and I am using math and a print for projects, in my profession we cant just put things together and make them fit so it's habit. We normally have an exact measurement with +/-0" tolerance we have to make happen. We know it will go together not hope, and if it doesn't it's because there is a problem somewhere that has to be corrected. I am going to try just winging it on a project to see how it comes out. I am learning a lot from you and others which is awesome thanks for showing great techniques and sharing your skill in your craft.
Loved this video! The ONLY change I would make would likely be to slightly round the finished table corners, for the only reason that my kids tend to run into a lot of things. All the time. Every day.
I was wrong! I thought this was yet another video on building tables. But, it is Saturday and raining, so I watched. I didn't expect much. BUT, wow, a great idea for not going math crazy! Loved it. Thanks.
Great example of how easy you have made it to construct the angled legs. I love the templet idea, it sure is easier than how I've worked it out in the past. But then again, using your method will probably keep me from throwing the whole mess out into the middle of the road in frustration. Well done.
I love this table! I love the project! I love the Beer in this application! I really love the MATH or lack thereof! Your Humor though is spot on my friend. Thanks for sharing, and teaching the non Math Class. Felix
Finally someone say that glue alone is strong enough. No dominos, biscuits or anything else needed. Edit: I dig your straight forward working style. Very refreshing.
CHOP SAW!!! Thank you! Everyone else I know calls it a miter saw (at least everyone that doesn't have one or has used one on occasion). Or if you're April Wilkerson, "miter sawL" 😡 I'm 53 and it's been a chop saw my whole life. Also glad to see you work with your hands and not a sissy pair of gloves like so many other videos I've seen.
Your videos feel like a comedian walked into a woodworking shop and just started building stuff, gonna use your tips and tricks on projects thanks kind sir
I didn’t like Jason’s videos at first but I sped them up to 1.25 speed and they’re great. He reminds me of a guy I worked with that said, “I mean what I say so I take my time saying it.”
Love your videos, mate you are a funny bugger champion. Looking forward to the next video. Like the way how you simplify thing for the novice like me. Thanks champion 🍺🇦🇺
Been watching your channel for a few weeks now. Your videos are amazing. I have learned so much, your videos help me challenge my skills and get me to learn new ones. I hope to be able to get to your level of experience one day. The dream would be turning it into a legit business not a side gig. Keep pumping out the content it is amazing! The pallet video is still #1 in my books.
That was really satisfying to watch and I learned that in a pinch and with some creative problem solving skills that doing math isn’t and shouldn’t be a pain you have to deal with to be a woodworker. Thanks. Also the sanding tip with the IPA was a super nice idea as I can only imagine because oak probably takes forever to sand. The part I loved the most was your design. It was simple and humble. The 3/4” Round Over bit helped the overall look be an inviting style to enjoy using as is that perfect finish. I can only imagine what the chairs would like. I’m imagining something with a 3/4” Round Over and a dowel design as a brace like this table has. Thank you. Side note, I personally have benefited from woodworking as a way to calm myself with all of the insane political junk going on that I don’t feel the need to even mention here. Wood has helped me feel more at peace knowing that hard work and a goal oriented attitude that can help carry a passionate idea to fruition is more practical and empowering than dealing with all the stress watching news can cause. That stuff should come with warning labels. Just saying. Thanks again and I feel inspired. You did excellent and deserve props. 👍🏻

Woooooooooo wee!!!! That tabletop is SLICK! Excellent job my friend! Above my skill level, but a badass table!
I rally appreciate how you show your tricks/tips. As someone who is just getting into woodworking, you make it look like this is something I can actually do. Plus you’re kinda weird, and I like that.
That trench cutting feature is a game changer for mitre saws
Really enjoy your channel. You show people that woodworking doesn't have to be complicated. This piece turned out great!
Beer helps

Good thing no one asked you.
That was completely outrageous with the round over bit. You went mental with that thing dude.........
You are very entertaining. Very good talent for building and helping my mental health with humor :)
Your methods and disregard for math inspire me. A beautiful table that will please whomever has it in their home for many years. Well done.
Unreal! I could watch your builds all day long. One day I’ll get around to trying this out myself, until then please keep the videos coming!
You were close to "planking" on the planks of the table! Thank you, I love your videos!
I was wrong! I thought this was yet another video on building tables. But, it is Saturday and raining, so I watched. I didn't expect much. BUT, wow, a great idea for not going math crazy! Loved it. Thanks.

Nice project too.
