  • It's the morning of the second day on our five day backpacking trip in Patagonia. Jen and I woke up before sunrise and attempt to make a summit run on Cerro Madsen. This video is hopefully helpful to others who want to attempt the climb as we couldn't find a whole lot of details on the route.

this is much better than documenting a successful summit and good weather. Thanks for sharing and teaching some good judgement. Heading here soon and might attempt this…weather permitting 😄

Those last minutes were hilarious guys. Dramatization... Nick: "The boat is full of water and likely sinking, we could die in the frozen water. We are going to call it and prepare that lifeboat. It was a nice attempt of reaching Antartica - this is a good weather only attempt, give us a like and subscribe for this amazing attempt". Jen: "Forget the video and let's get out of here now!" Lol I love you guys!

How was the capture clip during your treks? Thinking about getting one, would love to hear your opinion on it. Thanks again

+pattons3rd I've been using their clip since the first edition. This new version is a major improvement over the original design. While the video I get from it with the GoPro, while hiking, is very shaky. The clip is AMAZING to holster my Canon 5DMKIII with telephoto lens. I've honestly tried a ton of ways to holster my camera and this clip is the best thing. I should do a video about it, I love it so much. :)

What is the camera hitch? To lock her in the backpack? Need something special to fix on the camera too? Thank you.

+Patrick Caple (No Trail Required) That's one of my favorite inventions. It's made by Peak Designs and it's their Capture Pro model with GoPro attachment. I also use this clip to carry my big DSLR with telephoto lense. www.peakdesign.com/capturepro

+francisco font saravia we left our large backpacks inside our tent back at camp Poincenot. We took our valuables and climbing supplies with us in out summit packs.

+francisco font saravia Yes! El Chalten (the town) is a very safe place. Some people don't even lock their doors. Out on the trail is even safer. A very wonderful place. :)
