I agree, this video should have a whole lot more views. Unfortunately, more people prefer to watch what the Kardashians are having for dinner or what they're wearing.
22 hours with no water and covid?! That sounds like some real type 2 fun. First Covid ascent😂. Congrats guys that's a huge accomplishment! Gorgeous views!
❓🤔 I just don't see why they needed all that equipment and excessive clothing.... Personally, when i climb this mountain(again, for the 7th time), I wear shorts, a t-shirt and flip-flops! I do wear a fanny pack, but only so I can fill it with 20-30lbs of lead fishing weights to make the trek more challenging, and ensure it won't be too easy. Sometimes I carry an old, rusty Phillips screwdriver with me, as a makeshift ice axe. As far as food is concerned, that's the easy part. I take down high-flying hawks by throwing rocks at them. Then I clean and cook them coated in "Shake & Bake" poultry seasoning, in a frying pan whittled out of a rock. 😁
Not a climber, just a hiker. Was at the lake viewpoint at the end of the maintained trail couple weeks ago. The perspective this video gives of just how far away we still were from that summit is mind-blowing. This is spectacular, and props for summitting.
No water ☑️ Covid ☑️ Ascend thousands of feet above a glacier in 22hrs ☑️ I’m no climber, but your content is nothing short of amazing! Thanks so much for sharing this epic journey, I absolutely love the stuff that you’ve been sharing recently!
As a Patagonian from Argentina I've never climed FitzRoy mountain nor have been hiking mountains because I've never had a chance to do that but it seems kind of interesting, especially the part of seeing that beautiful sceneries from the top of the mountains
My ice climbing instructor had some great stories about his Fitz accent while we were touring on the Deming glacier of Mt Baker. This makes me jealous!! Congrats!
Amazing video guys! Beautiful views and if I had the confidence you guys did to climb to the top like that this would absolutely be on my bucket list! That had to be an adrenaline rush for sure. Thanks for sharing.
awesome video, was right there with you guys, sounds of the mountain made me feel I am there, stunning views, thanks mucho, love how you did not make a fuss about covid, ....... mountain spirit trumps everything ..
Simplesmente incrível. Sem palavras para descrever o que eles fizeram. Parabéns pra eles!!!! Quem esteve no pé do Fitz Roy sabe a dificuldade daquele lugar, imaginem conseguir subir o Fitz Roy. Incrível demais.
I came here looking for who had climbed Fitz Roy. Now I would like to see one of Aconcagua. Congratulations. There is no way I would do this, but it's good to see you happy and alives. .
2nd viewing...looking round, where's the mushrooms of ice? Those are always on show. Now you guys have just done fitzroy in rock boots, FFS!! That place was so bad ass, a big european bootmaker called their premier mountain/ice climbing boot "Fitzroy"...back in the day, admittedly. All in all Tyler, a superb bit of climbing movie making. It really does emphasise the changes being made in mountaineering. Fitzroy, cerro tore etc? I still have books written about teams spending weeks trying to do what you just did in 24hours. You simply treated it as a valley day out ( with a few pitches of ice thrown in )...awesome mate... Kudos to you and your buddies...
Hey Tyler! So this morning I'm flailing up easy 11a stuff near Stinson Beach on a warm sunny California day and come home feeling beat and sore. And then I get online and watch you doing this! So badass. Glad I got to climb with you while you were still doing "easy" stuff, like El Cap :-D
I was wondering how and when you were going to start your season, should’ve figured out the southern summer is the northern winter, or something like that.... awesome dude you and your bros are climbing big stuff in fine style.... the “Fun Hogs” in pata-go-nadd 🐺👍🌞👊✅🍀
I personally dont understand why anyone would ever want to risk their lives doing this. Seems like a nightmare that would take forever too. I just dont get it or see the value. I am however, amazed by their bravery. I literally could never ever scale a wall like that no matter how well i was secured. The bravery is astonishing
Throats? Fairly normal symptom of altitude... Jeez guys, thats some proper alpine climbing... Haven't seen anything from you for a while and now this...great!
Props wow!! I love hiking. I saw a photo of this mountain pop up on my desktop screen saver. I had to look it up. Had to see if people hike it. Found your vid. Turns out it's not really hiking, it's climbing lol this looked so sketchy, gave me so much anxiety. I would never do this. I'll stick to the Colorado 14ers lol That view at the top was amazing though. And glad for you guys that all the clouds disappeared when at the summit for the best view
Wow man... just wow. I'm a new climber and I found your channel right as I started. This was insane lol, everyone has covid, and y'all are still smiling and having a great ass time AND without freakin water. Such an inspiring group of people! Love all the videos man! Also, did you take down the first video of this series? It was like 30 minutes or so.. I had 10 mins left of watching :(
I don’t understand why these videos don’t get more views. As a climber this is the exact content I look for all the time
you probably don't want to know what gets the most views on youtube lol
Well said... I'm very afraid of heights and I get a huge kick out of these incredible short videos. Love this content.

Depends on which climb you do. Some route are completely rock with 0 ice. Some are completely ice and rime 🤷♂️
Mushrooms are in the Torres. The fitz roy peaks are known to be much drier than the Torres but still have plenty of snow and ice
