Your books are amazing. What's even better is your audiobooks because you can listen to the tone on how you wanted your books to be represented. I have bought your book "the way of men" several times to give as gifts. It is a good way to find the men I'm looking to surround myself with. Because either they read it and think I'm crazy or there's a fire in there eye and a beautiful up rising starts in them.

  • @Syndicate.Harbor

Another good concept to pair with the circle of influence idea here would be 6 degrees of separation. Focus on, as you said Jack, changing YOUR world first as you have the most power there. Then change at least one person's world. Then that one can change two, and exponentially on. Biggest hurdle, and you mention it quite a bit for good reason, is resentment. "That person did this awesome thing! I wanna do the thing too!" Then you try, and fail, and give up on the first fuck up, then gears change to "Screw that! That way is garbage! It doesn't work because I couldn't do it!" A mentality we need to get past. Masters and apprentices used to exist for a reason. Don't be afraid to try and don't be afraid to ask for help if you fail. We can start the world, or even change it, but we gotta pull our heads out of our asses to get it done. So many resources we have in this day and age that just end up getting processed as shit. You're doing a great thing Jack, keep at it brother.

Yeah. Kind of mixed feelings. On one side, you--as an author want your message to be timeless, so it's easy to deliver and eventually recycle. To come home in the future by default. Automatically. On the other side (especially here on TH-cam) you are always pushed to position yourself in a new way so the algorithm can spot you if you start trending. Jack's core ideology is still around--being masculine meaning leading a life of your envisioning. That's masculine and exciting to those who are truly masculine. The feminine gets afraid of this goal. That's how I perceive it. This new 'framework' for 'packaging' this universal message is actually very motivating. It works. Look at the length of my comment, though. Thank you Jack!

and as with any conflict of narratives and values, the right narrative reframing can reconcile them. you just have to find the common ground and the ways they can reinforce each other even when they disagree.

Amazing, inspiring well thought out presentation Jack ... Im very impresed and inspired myself ... I have read covey's book on and off for over 20 years and understood it... but only used its wisdom sporadically and mainly as input, nor understood its true level of significance... Output is what really defines a man and how you have integrated it into your Start the world philosphy is genius... I hope all men who watch this take this advice and start their worlds with no LIMITS to success.

i read a story once, though I only remember a little of it - Odin was coming from the shores to see how his people were. He stopped at a small house and knocked. He was welcomed by a poor yoman and his wife who gave him dinner and drink. When he left he rewarded them not with gold or riches, but with goods (or was it luck?) that they would be able to use in their lives. He rewarded them accoring to their abilities.
I say this because I have read your trilogy and learned from it. It has been a yoman's portion of a gift to me.
    Keep writing.
