I can't believe it, I had just gotten an Winwing Orion 2 Throttle with F-15E grips and I noticed I wasn't getting after Burner flames when I should, and your video pops up!. I'm getting that app pronto!
I appreciate it I will give it try..... this game is visually stunning, amazing gameplay, especially when you watch these guys do pvp or carrier missions, its like watching New Top Gun movie everyday! I cant get enough even though I cant do much... 😂 thx for the help...
Here is another thing I forgot to mention, I apologize! I don't have nvidia, win 10(64bit), or logitech software running the X56! So only DCS is controlling it to isolate the issue!! Clearly that hasn't worked! 😊
Hello Pana its DV on my Gaming PC, I adjusted throttles as you stated... so i have throttle rudder pitch roll, certain buttons and switches work and some don't! But I have no speed brakes, don't think wheel brake button works either I tried on something else still nothing! As for landing they don't work period, landing gear only works from the clickable cockpit, and not any other way! So at this point since i cant rearm or refuel and land...I can go on mission but i cant fire weapons or lock anything up since nothing binds, even though they are assigned!
@@mongoose2187 Are the buttons on your joystick working and does your computer receive the signal from the joystick. Are the questions you need to start with.
Clearing that out of the ReadMe was the happiest I've ever felt when deleting a bunch of my work 😄That process is so much smoother now, and it works perfectly for inverted throttles as well! 🙃
is mind boggling ED dont do these things, is just pure laziness for a game that costs for most of the fans more than 500-800 bucks. im beginning to be a pretty pissed off virtual pilot after spending so much in this sim and put more than 5000h , witnessing after 12 years of flying on their servers the lack of passion and direction by polishing soooo many aspects of this air combat sim. They keep relying on the community to do all the "sauce" that keep this sim moving, missions, fun mods, terrain or sound enhancements, challenges is just sad, tx a lot for this baley, surely its amazing, and tx for the video man, love your content
Thank you sir. What a fantastic tool. I am just about to embark on this again. Because after every update my controls get wiped & my buck up is not compatible. Best to do it in the air though. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻👍🏻🙃🙃
Hello! Nice vid and amazing tool! Do you think is possible with the tool or with DCS curves to setup and idle and afterburner detent? The x52 HOTAS has both options and I was wondering if I could use the idle detent for a F16 to bring the engine alive when cold start
Gonna try this as soon as I get home. Question: Does this work with the idle detents as well? Would like to push the throttles over the detents on cold start rather than do the Rshft+Home Ralt+Home deal
I followed the instructions but have no experience with inserting use lines. it would be nice for someone to show how to use xceed toolkit and how to get this tool working. The tool looks awesome and easy to use, if only I could get it to open.
sad you didnt remember to use the carrier (on the catapult) or even wheel shocks, i believe in DCS wheel chocks will immobilize the plane no matter what
hey man, i have been around these files over night , i can make this tool to work..is a executable file? how to open this little blue window you do use? i cant find it at all, i have downloaded from dcs user files and even from source code at github but there isnt any exe file, how to make it run, tx man
dear friend sorry for bother you again but somehow i cant find a way to run this same software you are running (looks like a executable) where you choose aircrafts to make the calculations, i just have the " Detent Calculator Spreadsheet v1018.xlsx" and a file called "Detent Calculator Google Sheet v1018" both will just show a sheet where you can input values, where can i find this exe file with the software, im doing surely something wrong, does DCS need to be open with a plane in the runway or something to make these .xlsx or the other file to work like your on the top left where you select the aircraft? sorry for my ignorance
I saw this because there's a weird issue with my throttle where if the left and right physical throttles are clipped together as one. Both left and right will match the AB detentt ingame and physical throttle. But when I put the throttle in idle; I find that it's not really in idle. More like it's at 20%. If I unclip the throttles and separate them. Only the right throttle can match the AB and idle detent both physical and ingame. While the left throttle is like 20% greater. Meaning that if align both physical throttles; the throttle ingame is mismatched. Wondering if this would allow me to mess with curvature and allow both throttles to match physically as well as ingame.
I haven't tried it with a difference that large in the past, but theoretically it should work just fine for this! You'll just need to grab the detent location number for both throttles (which is super easy in 2.8 - be sure to use the newest ReadMe in calculator version 1.017) and then just let the calculator make two separate curves for each throttle axis.
Hello brotha...great video! I loved them you did great job in explaining things! Not sure if you have tine to teach me some things(basics), I absolutely love this game- I'm in California. Sonmy ? Was Your experience with X56 and setting it up just for me to be able to fly! I have owned dcs for about 3 weeks now, and have only crashed or not been able to even start the plane because controls dont respond at all....ie... flaps, brakes, landing gear, etc....Unless i start from flight, or the runway. But I cant do anything but fly around until i run out of fuel.....it get shot down- oh because I cant use weapons either.....which makes flying at someone who thinks your foindg to light them up, but you don't know how!!🤣😂😂😂😁 But this game is amazing!! I wish I was able to play the game the way you guys do....I got my son in to play it too... I appreciate what you've done- Great job! Don

FYI, I didn't notice it in 2.7, but 2.8 gives you the actual in and out numbers, so you don't need to estimate it anymore.
