On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

Technically this mission was a failure because the enemy Port-A-Potty factory remains intact.
Not so fast! Port-A--Potty recon was performed and reported no targets at 9:56. Port-A--Potty deployment was suppressed, that's at least partial success. 😄

You know you’ve had fun in the Hog when you’ve got grass stains on the ailerons.
Yeah, I noticed how close that wing came to hitting planet Earth.
Sometimes he flies so low I no longer worry about bird strike, I worry about vole strike.
I got 'buzzed' by a pair of A-10's while riding my dirt bike down a trail at Ft. Huachuca in the late '80s...I learned 2 things. 1. It's true, if you see or hear the A-10, you were not the target. 2. They sound exactly like the cinematic view of the Hog buzzing the camera. It scared the holy moly out of me. LOL I'm betting the pilots were using us as targets and we had no idea.
When I was a student at UMass-Amherst, the Mass ANG flew their A-10s over campus (the high rise dorms and library were their steer points) and watching these Hogs bear down on a bunch of half-drunk college kids usually woke us up.
I lived around tucson and marana.
I rode a red sportbike.
I have had that happen to me multiple times. Im a contractor so i was able to get on base as well as raytheon too. Idk if any of them ever saw me ride around on base before and when they saw me in the wild all alone on of the roads outside the base towards the boneyard along the fence they would sometimes come after me.
I also saw them "attack" the smokestack on the powerplant a lot.
Man. Almost got grass stains on your wingtips after that first HARM shot.

LOVE the A-10 , I was a "Leg" in Germany, 11-C. 3rd ID Mechanized.
I drove a PC for an AirForce TACP --- the AirForce "Forward ground-spotters" (I guess that's what you'd call them)
But I think what makes me _Love_ the A-10 isn't only that it's direct ground support, but it's *_ENGINEERING_* --- As one of THE most successful, useful, And *toughest* designs---- ever

16:00 you can get a more continuous, linear gunrun if you straight up just dont run the gunpac. That way it doesnt fight you and try to stabilize the burst on a particular point and you can continue to steer it as you fire

There's some nice attention to detail here, when the perspective shifts to the target point of view, the gun rounds hit prior to hearing the buzz from the cannon (since they are moving faster than the speed of sound).

I thought your very first HARM was going to hit the ground, but it pulled-up after the little dive. Awesome video. You make it look so easy. I'm a rooky, but I'm learning. Six months and learned a little A10, F16 and now playing with the F18. I love these 3 planes so far. I have died 370 deaths to get this far. I still haven't master the aerial refueling part, yet. But I have taken on some gas, occasionally. Just enough to get me home only to hit the back of the ship upon attempting a Case 1 recovery. It's a process. But it's a lot of fun. I love the realism. My RTX 3050 is holding its own. Poor thing. No hiccups or glitches. I used some of Spudknocker's recommended settings and the Lasso app settings. It is running like a champ with three 27" Acer monitors with the Track IR5. I am impressed with my PC's performance. Fly safe...run some F18 Case I, Case II and Case III recoveries or some more F16 and F18 CAS missions with some inbound air threats. Those are cool. Like I said, you make it look so simple.

15:41 Not sure since I haven’t played in a while , but gun pac off would be a better choice for strafing in a line, it allows the gun to fire but while the trigger is depressed you can pull back on the stick to have a long strafe.

Aaah HARMs on an A-10! Anyone else old enough to remember "A-10 Attack" in the 90s, where you could pack 8 and target them with the RWR?
Gotta love the helmet mounted cueing
Pro Tip (actual): fire the laser in the TPod when you make the designation for better slant range accuracy to solve for HAT (Height Above Target). Although DCS might not model this. Without the laser youre just using angles and DTED/elevation data without measuring actual slant range (which A10s have the highest fidelity DTED so its fine) but for when youre in the F-15E or something its better to use the laser.

Hello there, welcome to the channel. Most of the time I'm playing against real people sometimes AI, often if its a real person I credit them in the start of the video with a little thank you, but sometimes they don't want to have any credit given so sometimes I don't. Most Air to Air videos and dogfight videos are real people, SOME air to ground stuff is a real person controlling those ground objects.
