- Ok you guys asked me on twitter to do this, so here it is kind of. I'll be doing a Saints Row video one week, and then a non-Saints Row video the next. So next week will be something different! Hooray for diversity!

I think the guys behind Saints Row are starting to realize they've let us down, I mean this was a quote Johnny said in Saints Row: The Third; "We traded our dicks in for pussies. Seriously... Movie deals? Commercials? The Saints name used to mean more than body spray and some ass-tasting energy drink." It breaks my heart to see what this game has become..
Sr3 or 4 I personally can't remember but I thought it was 4 because in 3 they didn't let us down yet and Johnny was also dead for most of 3

Better soundtrack
Gangster themed
Better civilian ai
Better ways to make chaos
Sr2 physics
Using anything as a weapon
And being able to make scenarios with people on the street

The problem is that the series can't revert back to the theme of SR2. The only reason they went with a over-the-top batshit crazy story in 3 and 4 is because people started dismissing the 1&2 as a GTA clone. Going back to the gang and hood structure will destroy the reputation of Volition. The story can't go back, cuz it can also annoy the fans who like the crazy theme of the newer games.

Honestly its good flippy still has the dream alot of us old saints fans had. God I remember going to the midnight launch of three dressed in purple suits with my girlfriend because SR2 was amazing. I remember wanting my first tattoo being the saints symbol. I know it sounds crazy but saints row 2 is still my favorite game of all time and it was better then the GTA series. Guess we can only hope to see a kick starter for a saints row styled game done right.
Dentenshi Reignhart I'm starting to think that SR2 was somewhat of a product of it's time for volition. The botched ending of SR1 forced them to come up with something new for the sequel, and they just happened to come up with an amazing group of concepts that worked well with each other. In other words, they got lucky making SR2 what it was and everything since then has been an attempt at trying to push those concepts to the extreme, and sadly, it just doesn't work as well.

I never felt a disconnect between the bosses's personality and the side activities.
Infact I think the side activities complimented the phsycopathic nature of the boss. The scenes where you go to the movie producer for the blazing activity sums it up beautiful when the producer says "Normally people are concerned about safety" Then your character is like "All i want to to is set shit on fire"

I honestly prefer that ending actually, where the boss is head of the Steelpor, pissed off and pretty much undefeated. It was a lot closer to the old Boss.

@@xxxod I so hope they see Flippy's videos on sr5 wishlists. What gives me hope is that IdolNinja is working on the team. He's been critical of saints row 3 and his fav game of all time is Saints Row 2. He's also done so many awesome mods for it and recently did a tweet saying that he is head over heels in love with the new Saints game that's in development. I really hope SR5 is everything SR3 should have been.
@@xxxod They don't have to listen, SR always does well and everyone who prefers the old school games is in the minority, they can continue to make stupid shit and it'll still sell really well. That's the worrying part really, there's not too much incentive to return to the SR1 and 2 formula and level of detail. Our only hope right now is that it's been over 7 years since the last game so the chance of having a reboot that goes back to basics is more likely than before and that they've been more involved with hardcore SR fans like inviting saintsgodzilla to play the game and yeah having IdolNinja working on the team right now, and he seems to be loving but it he works there he ain't gonna say anything bad lol.

See I'd go with the retcon ending: the boss you play in 1-4 is now an Urban myth, Johnny Gat is an older cop who has been on the boss' trail for years and actually worked under undercover as a Saint for a bit but is starting to believe it's a cold case, you play a new Playa, and run into Carlos (who in this universe was told to skip town after helping the boss escape during the opening of SR2's events thus avoiding his original fate) and he tells you about the saints and their reign and inspires you to pick up the saints name and bring it back to glory. as the game progresses you run into the old saints from the original 4 games but it's clear that due to it being a different universe a lot of them never met the boss or did and split from them before things got crazy as SR3's celebrities stuff. Peirce can be some producer who had a few hits in the early 00s but never really his his stride into full blown a lister but still is wanting that. Shaundi still the hippy type, clearly likes the drug life but clearly got an edge to her after the fall out of an alternate version of SR2's events, mixing SR2 & SR3/4 shaundi's personalities into one person. McKenzie is around and a well respected agent but clearly unfulfilled due to a case she never got to crack. and stuff like that which shows that thigns happened but it's notably different while not completely ignoring it.
At this point I would be happy if they released saints row 2 on ps4 and xbone with 60 fps and all dlc

This video isn't really what I was hoping to make. When I was in the process of making the first draft, premiere kept randomly crashing and then before I knew it, my hard drive was full. So, eh, wasn't really that interested in making another video like this anyway so I rushed it. Soooory. Next week will not be Saints Row video, and hopefully next weeks video will be better. Flippy My ideal Saints Row will be the same as yours.Another series i personally liked reminds of what Saints Row is becoming and that was the Far Cry series.I didn't really played Far Cry 3 i wasn't interested in that but when i played Far Cry 4 it felt like playing Far Cry 3 for the first time.Really there's nothing new in this game the only new things are Elephants and Snowmobiles that's it the story was a wasted concept by Plot-holes Cliched Plot twists and Poorly made characters for further detail i will link my rant that i made on the Far Cry wiki.

Dom Does Lets Plays Hey, I'm a fan of the originals, I promise. But hey, I like the new games, not as much as the originals but I like em. I've said this before, the reason I started playing these games was for the character creation. As long as they keep that character creation and continue to improve it, I could go either way.
Let's be honest, even the original games didn't have much substance in plot, I believe Nostalgia blinds people, they're still good games, it's just the plot never really mattered.
What I would like to see is something different than it's roots and the current game direction, something like Flippy suggested. A reboot, or maybe a remake that has a slightly more darker tone with a bit of cheese, like a modern day 007 movie that has the most epic character creation yet, a huge map, and a better system over all. I mean this next game would be something on next gen, something like this just won't do it needs to look much nicer, play smoother, and ya know just be better.
All i want is stillwater. Updated ofcourse. Anything is better than steelport. I really hated it. A update in graphics would also be nice. I aint a graphics whore but recycling the graphics from the previous game is not a way to make a sequel

I have a simple solution as to how Volition could handle Saints Row 5:
Make a poll/survey asking Saints Row fans what direction they would like the next game to go in, since they've said in their recent streams that they want to get in touch with their fans more. They can give the poll/survey a wide variety of options for people to choose from, and whichever choice gets the majority rule by the time they decide to terminate said poll/survey will be the direction they'll take the next Saints Row in.
Of course, the poll/survey could also have more questions afterward that go more in-depth in regards to asking what Saints Row fans want in the game. Again, majority rules.

Volition are holding a poll right now exactly like what you just described. I heard the poll ends on the 12th (I don't know this as a fact) but it's definitely a step in the right direction IMO :)

I always thought the boss's character made sense because when he was in business he is super serious and psychopathic but he needs to do these fun comedic things to lighten it up so he doesn't go crazy with all the other shit
I want: a story like SR1/2; a gameplay like SR3; a multiplayer like GTA V (without the in-game shop, cheating, bitches who kill you without a reason, with some DLCs paid and real crews.

the thing that i miss the most is the clothing and car deeper customization, u know like choosing leather or cloth in the interior of the car or on a jacket, or to buy one hat and put it backwards, on the side o however you liked, even choose from boxers or thongs an the prints an colors of it, if you will use the pants on the waist, hip or almost at the knees, the chains silver, gold platinum, the stones are diamonds, rubies, emeralds and choose he pendant and the thing that i miss the most is a Latino voice for the boss

You create your character as usual (hopefully this time with more available default voices and races) then the game picks up where Saints Row 2 left off. Following the chopper ride the three go to a club, celebrate 'owning the city' getting drunk and also high off Loa dust. The combination causing the protagonist to fall asleep and have a lucid dream of everything that takes place after Saints Row 2. The dream is quick bursts of false memories of Saints Row 3 and the games that follow. The protagonist awakens in a safehouse seeing Shaundi smoking a joint and watching tv. The protagonist asks what happened having Shaundi explain that you passed out in the club and her and Pierce brought you home. Shaundi says she was just staying to see you sober up and that she's heading home.
Shaundi: "call me if you need anything...Boss"
*both smile*
You crash again, this time having a dream of the last thing Julius explained before you killed him followed by quick flashbacks of all the major characters you killed and all your friends who've died because of the life. The next scene pans over your body from an aerial view of you convulsing and groaning, then you suddenly wake up in a cold sweat. You look around in shock then fall back to bed caressing your nose like people do when they're stressed. Your character sits up at the edge of the bed, the pan goes to a digital clock then back to you. You sit with your hands together with your elbows on your thighs for a few seconds then you stare at your palms, the protagonist arises, puts on a coat, leaves the safehouse and heads to a mall. You're analyzing your surrounding and then see a baby playing with his mother and smile to yourself. You pull out your phone to make a call to Gat but then drop it and it slides to a lady sitting down nearby in a seat, she glances at it, picks it up and returns it to you saying
"Think you dropped something" and laughs.
The two make brief but intimate eye contact, then they say "sorry" simultaneously, chuckle and part ways walking opposite directions. The silent cut-scene then shows you running back to her, the two chat and she puts her number in your phone, the cut-scene fades to black. A few moments later you're in a home appearing aged, you look at a baby boy (your son) standing in a crib holding the rail you then see that same lady from the previous cut-scene (your now wife) chopping carrots in your kitchen. You go upstairs to your room, open your dresser drawer in search of something. You then sluggishly pull your hand out of the drawer, slowly looking towards the dresser mirror. The cut-scene starts to shake as if your character's having a migraine, followed by a high pitched ringing and whispers. The protagonist grabs his head and starts to stumble around as the whispers get progressively louder then you frantically rush back to the same drawer pull out a prescription bottle and pop several pills then dash to the washroom to catch some water in a cup so they go down properly. The whispers gradually get quieter till they halt to a silence. Your character regains a neutral standing position, you're relaxed. Your phone rings and you jump out of fright, you look to see Gat's calling, he informs you in the call;
"Hey, I know you've settled downnn... tryna keep a low profile and what not, but remember that crazy fucker Sunshine you killed a few years back, well he's got a brother and apparently he's coming to off your ass unless of-course you're gonna... you know, FUCKING DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT"
You: "And you know this... how?"
Gat elaborates that he knows a guy that knows a guy and that Sunshines' brother will arrive within the month to come for you. The call ends, you then roam in the game doing missions till that month is up (the month being over whenever you complete the missions) then receiving a call once you've completed that from a blocked number. You answer and stay silent as you hear heavy breathing in the background followed by;
"Well, aren't you going to say hello?"
You: "WHO TF IS THIS ?"
Sunshines Brother: "I am brethren of who you know as...Sunshine. I would like to meet with you at the Sirens Pier, My yacht will arrive tomorrow at dusk, it would mean a lot if you came, I mean you no harm"
You hang up and the mission succeeding is you doing just that only armed with a pistol. Sunshines brother (let's call him
'Samedi') yacht is already at the pier when you arrive, with several armed men standing on the deck two being beside a door. Samedi comes out of the door and approaches you seemingly checking you out as you stand there, you then say;
"Isn't this the part where you kill me?"
He glances at his men and they all share a laugh then looks back at you and says;
"I believe the information your partner received was lost in translation...but friend, I know of your troubles"
You: "What troubles?"
Samedi: "The voices"
*Your thoughts echo* "How the fuck does he know?"
You: "Yeah I'm schizo... doctor gave me shit for it, I'm good... yeah" (Clearly lying, Samedi looks back to his men)
Samedi: "No, no, no young man, that couldn't be further from the truth, how do you think I found you?"
You: "Shit, if I know ?"
Samedi: "My fallen brother and a few other losts souls are attached to you that is how I found you; the energy led me to you"
You: "Good to know, now what tf do you want from me?"
Samedi: "I desire your consolation just as much as you. I know what it's like to be tormented"
*brief silence*
Samedi: "I can banish these spirits from your presence and you can finally be at peace if you so desire, otherwise I will leave and you will never have to see me again"
You: "Fine, do what you have to do...But aren't you mad at what I did to your brother?"
Samedi: "Not at all, he strayed far from reality, lost his mind and ended up in the wrong hands, I would have probably ended up doing the same thing, follow me to my office to end this.
Samedis office is filled with all kind of voodoo related paraphernalia, your character sits at a table across from him and he grabs your hands and you both close your eyes as he starts chanting some spells. The whispers begin and then they turn to screams and a gust picks up in his office, then suddenly the drapes part ferociously (spirits departing) and everything becomes silent, he lets go of your hands.
Samedi: "It is done"
You two then both nod acknowledging the respect you have for each other, then you leave in your car to drive back home. As you're leaving you look in your wing mirror and see the yacht is somehow already gone (nostalgic music would be playing in the cutscene of the ride home). You arrive home to your wife on the driveway biting her nails with her arms crossed questioning where you were (clearly upset), you just hug her and she embraces it you both go inside. Gat, Pierce and Shaundi are all in your living-room cooling out.
Shaundi and Pierces jaw drops (Shaundi is holding your son)
Gat: "Everything alright playa"
You: "Couldn't be better"
You head upstairs to your bedroom and pick up a photo of you and the Saints in your early days from atop your dresser and reminisce. Next, it's to your balcony, grabbing the railing staring off into the direction of the sea. You pull a Cuban out your pocket light it up and start to puff. The scene ends with the view panning out as music plays maybe: 'Nas - Stay' (something fitting like that songs) You look up at the clouds to see an apparition of Samedi, Lin and Carlos smiling down at you, you smile back and it fades to black, credits roll.
I think in this hypothetical Saints Row 5 (Technically it would be Saints Row 3) the Map should be set in a fictional city based off Cuba (maybe calling it 'Buca') and also an island in the map based off Haiti (Tihai as a potential name); since Mr. Sunshine was Haitian and Haiti is just a little south of Cuba, and that atleast one mission should involve you flying back to Stilwater.
Thank you for taking the time to read this if you did. I came up with this imaginary plot after watching this vid. I'm a huge fan of Saints Row and was super disappointed with the direction it took after the 2nd game, and would love to see it make a comeback and have the series end in a positive light.

I think a way to make the old and new fans happy would be The Saints going back in time with the time machine before Zinyak destroyed the Earth. Then you could visit both Steelport and Stilwater. You could use the armor that gives you superpowers in some missions, and then after you beat the game you could use it on the street, but only have superpowers with the armor on. And having something like a versus mode in the Fight Club with one player using the boss with his armor and the other using Gat with his fallen angel powers.

+Alan Oritz I think thats all unnecessary. I would rather they just ignore the whole concept of SR4 and the push of the Saints to be 'heroes'. The whole simulation thing just doesnt fit to me. Too much Sci-fi, too much over the top. I just want SR to focus on being a deep 3rd person shooter.
Or, better yet, instead of just Stilwater and Steelport, the Saints could travel to those two and a few new locations not present in the original game. Ditch all of the super powers, add in a fuck-ton of weapons to play with, 10 unique, different gangs to fight through the new locations, and a huge-ass story line about how the Saints returned to power. I think that would be pretty kickass.

I have a good theory for Saints Row V.
What if, at the beginning of the game, we learn that we NEVER LEFT THE SIMULATION?!?! (Dun Dun Dun!!)
I mean, think about it! Isn't everything in SR 4 suspiciously convenient? Like how you upgrade weapons IN THE SIMULATION, and they are upgraded in reality? Or how you customize your character IN THE SIM and the changes carry over into real life? Or how "Clusters" are physical collectible objects, and not just code? Or how Just running through a few checkpoints in a race or playing in traffic is enough to break the simulation?
Also, it almost seems like Zinyak wants you to win. Like how your breaking shit in the simulation, yet he does nothing, even though he claims, "I am the architect of your reality. I create what I want, I DESTROY what I want" Why doesn't Zinyak just delete superpowers? Or delete all of the stores? Or make all of the Zin immortal? Or turn everyone against the Boss? Or trap the Boss in an Iron Maiden for all eternity? OR DELETE THE BOSS??? And how can he not find you ON HIS SHIP?!!!?
In game, when you die, the game says the Simulation revives you. Why doesn't Zinyak remove this feature?!?!
In the final boss, when Zinyak releases the TNT CIDS, why doesn't he recall them once he realizes that the Boss is throwing them back at him?
And my last piece of evidence: At the end of the game, when you get the super suit which gives you superpowers IN REAL LIFE, if you use Mind Control on the Zin, they will still glitch out. IN "REALITY".
Also, are really supposed to believe that Kenzie managed to get abducted, realize she's in a simulation, figure out how to get out of it, get out of the simulation, rescue Keith, LEARN AN ALIEN PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE, and establish contact with the boss in only a few hours? And Is a world of peace and order REALLY the Boss' worst nightmare? Why not her/his crew turning on her/him and she/he being forced to kill hem? Or being forced to relive the death of Carlos again and again, unable to stop it?
Sigh... The writer of Saints Row 4 is either an idiot or a total fucking genius.

That's quite an idea, although I see two main points objecting that:
1. Look at the rest of SR4. I highly doubt that this one writer for the last part of the game was the spark of genius in all of High Voltage.
2. It is probably just for gameplay and HV didn't think about that or were... I don't even want to say "too lazy" but rather under too much pressure to incorprate details like that.
(and 3. if Volition was to go for a reboot that would still make the storyline up to the abduction valid, which kind of defeats the purpose)
However, the reasons why it could be (and makes me wish it will be):
1. That would open up for another idea I read: They may be able to escape the simulation (this time for real) and then fight Zynyak for real and take over his ship. Since SR already has gone completely Sci-Fi they might aswell embrace it and make a game were you fight interplanetary-interracial (like: humans+zyns vs aliens vs other aliens) gang-fights in order to rebuild the human race again. Instead of just taking over one city, you take over one planet, maybe even one solar system or even a galaxy.
2. SR2's story too was build almost completely one a single small mistake, so fuck it, it might happen again.

Although another possibility I've considered is that you discover you're still in a simulation in a secret ending, but you don't know for the rest of the game, aside for a few very subtle hints and Easter eggs. Heck, they could return to the gangster style with Killbane "returning" to take over.

My brother bought me the Saints Row pack on steam this past Christmas (it had saints row 2 through Gat out of Hell with all DLC's), I knew nothing about the series, but damn did I fall in love with 2. I made a male with the Hispanic voice and I thought it was cool that he would speak Spanish sometimes. Loved the story, the character, the other characters, their relationships, everything. It was the perfect balance of serious and funny. Then I play 3 right afterward. You probably saw my disappointment coming after my description of 2 lol. I was extremely bummed that they removed the Hispanic voice first of all, and I tried to make it work with a different voice but I could tell already that the personality was different. So, I just left my lil Cholo in SR2, and made a British voiced character in 2 to carry on into 3 and 4. 3 was boring as fuck though! Kind of funny, but I hated it. 4 was really funny, I actually kinda enjoyed it. But I really want to play SR 1 now. If they do make 5, I want them to start completely fresh. I want the hard as fuck gangsters theme back! It would be interesting to play as a character that's an under cover cop though. Maybe they can have multiple endings where you choose to stay with the gang or betray them.

My idea for the story: the same as SR1 (maybe mix it up a bit, to keep it interesting) with the same basic crew (Lin, Gat, Dex, Troy). The big change is that the playa discovers Julius' plans to kill them, and decides to overthrow him before he can do it. However, many of the other Saints don't believe/don't care about the playa, and are loyal to Julius. Enlisting the help of some newbie Saints (Pierce, Shaundi, Carlos, maybe Kinzie, Asha, Matt etc because I don't want their characters going entirely to waste) the playa slowly turns the Saints against Julius and eventually kills him, becoming the leader of the gang.
The idea of a Saints civil war is really interesting to me!

It's not easy being a fan of Saints Row, given the games they've released of late... -_-
-A reboot or a new story with a new earth and a different gang (I wouldn't mind a prequel where you play as Julius though)
-A more gang driven, "realism based", grounded action movie style story like SR2, with a few insane moments of ridiculousness (like the skydiving tank fight from SR3)
-A huge, lively, diverse setting. One that is in a state with 3 cities like San Andreas. One that is completely new.
-Rival gangs must return! (Maybe more than three this time)
-The deepness of Saints Row 2 customization (layered clothing, multicolored hair, etc.) with some of the funny and crazy customization options that SR3 and 4 had
-The scary, coldhearted boss from SR2
-More rock radio stations (no metal station in SR4? Come on!)
-Maybe include superpowers in a mini game activity or something rather than the main game
-more types of vehicles (hotrods, bicycles, trains, etc.)
-Also, I would love to see a Saints Row game that's a period piece (like set in the 90s, 80s, or early 2000s)
Also, day/night cycle and more weather effects (maybe even snow)
I'd like the environment to have a city based off of Las Vegas with a desert and another city that parodies Miami or Orlando, Florida
I believe that Saints Row has run its course. What else can you really do with the series? It ended with Saints Row 4 with Gat Out Of Hell just being the "Dear John" letter to fans who wanted to play as Johnny Gat.
Maybe, Deep Silver should explore making an entirely new game based off of Saints Row except you are a low-level gangster who raises through the ranks to become the leader in the game. When you become "the boss", your gang turns on you and you jump from gang to gang to clean up the streets.

I'd like that too. I feel like I haven't had the full experience since I haven't played SR and SR 2 but I'd like to and I also want the series to keep going or at least keep going in spirit.
This is a game series that took what GTA did and made it even better plus the in-depth creation for the SR series was something GTA couldn't do then and can't do now (GTA 5 Online is a perfect example....I should be able to make a character based off how I want them to look, not how the "Family" looks.)

SAINTS ROW 5: Imagine it E3 2016 Lights turn off everyone waiting for what's next, we see old footage of SR4 and the camera slowly backs away for the footage to actually be shown in a theater maybe the Boss's home theater we see pierce walking in and waking up the Boss telling them to, "Come on boss lets kick some ass". Pierce then hands the boss a gun and the Boss say's, " You knew what was on my mind". and then the Saint's logo pops up and the number 5 pops up too thus debuting the trailer for Saints row 5.

I do agree with a remake to give the series a sense of direction again. But it would be pretty cool to have Lin, and Dex back to basically bring contribution to the story and the gang it self for example. Lin could be a specialist on the gang's cars and make sure they are maintained, also with people she might influence to be part of the gang that could also work really well on the cars. Then, Dex could be a coordinator of missions that the gang could do because of how he almost always planned out his next move during the story of the first game.

I used to be a Saints Row 3 pleb, but I discovered this fella, the realest Saints Row Player alive, Flippy. This man's opinions swayed mine and I decided to play Saints Row 1 and 2. I'll be honest, 1 was a hassle, I didn't appreciate it too much, but I kept moving until I got to SR2. I was agitated at first that you couldn't just blast through the story without gaining respect until I saw all of the AWESOME FUCKING SHIT you could do in the environment. Fight club, fuzz, crowd control, but it wasn't stopping there. FUCKING BILLY MAYES SONS OF BITCHES. This game was phenomenal with the customization, the map, and the goosebump-engaging story. Saints Row 3 seemed like nothing more than a drawing you might find in the backseat of a short bus. Then, unfortunately, Saints Row 4 trailers started being released. Super powers, aliens, virtual reality. Was life worth living? Sure, but not for Saints Row. The Saints Row that I had overlooked, and then grew to love had fallen over and died right next to me. I now live my days in sorrow, thinking about what once was. I just hope they give us at least a remaster. But in the meantime, I'll continue sulking wishing for things to change. R.I.P. Saints Row

SAINTS ROW 5 should be a SUBTITLE for an AGENTS OF MAYHEM vol.2 Game that basically consists of a play style involving players to Re-Build a STILLWATER WORLD MAP piece by piece / block by block.. While enemy A.i. attack locales in Groups of waves.. Enemies can be ranged from other Gang factions to Aliens to Various Henchmen bent on Domination (no pun intended!) And even Demons From Hell - but ye.. I can see a SAINTS ROW 5 Game that introduces a type of 'MineCraft elements alongside the regular methods of going about both Character & Story Progression.. Co-op/Multiplayer would possibly be somewhat comparable to a 'FortNite however yet not so much in the same fashion - (ie) picture building a Tree House & defending it from invaders...while fallen enemies can drop resources needed to both level up & construct - all this while having the freedom to destroy various areas n objects throughout the World Map at will and its zone districts..The Destruction can be also made to affect the Story.. players can either go about a campaign alone or with a friend(s).. As Enemies are defeated they will Drop useful items & resources that can be used in progression of City Locales as well as Character Development n Modification.. Multiplayer can be like a 3rd person Action Tower Defense game where players fight to Overrun or Destroy Each other's Randomly Constructed Base/Forts ..the Best 2 out of 3 waves WINS!! (Or more) this can also be used to unlock more themes modes or items..long story short for this idea would be : whatever can be built ..can be destroyed at anytime to simply Re-face n customize your NEWLY ESTABLISHED STILLWATER..IF POSSIBLE - players should Be Allowed to Upload Their Personal Cities ONLINE for more additional Multiplayer.. You can even include a Team Death Match Mode.. and possibly a Death Race Mode where the 'Last man Driving WINS!! As Racers literally Aim to Kill each other by Driving & Shooting at Each other (However - this is just an idea yet..)

That bit at the end is undoubtedly one of the most impacting pieces of interpretative social commentary out of the last two centuries.
And if it were up to me, you'd be hired on as creative director for SR. I care as much about the series (read: the first two games) almost as much as you, and you've hit enough nails on the head to build a mansion.

Plus Saints Row 3 and 4 would gives us these awesome missions that we could only do once, while in SR2 we could repeat the awesome stuff as often as we damn well please.
And regarding environmental weapons it would be cool if we could snatch objects form peds to either throw or smack with. Imagine assaulting people with a walker.
Also, with how crazy GTA Online gets, I could see Saints Row of that scale being crazier.

Here's my ideal SR5. You start off at the end of saints row 4 where you time travel to previous saints row games to recruit past saints then you go to the plane where Johnny was being kidnapped by zinyak and kill zinyak. After that you crash the plane in a new city bigger and better than steel port and Stilwater. When you crash their you find out that there are 3 new enemy gangs and you gotta take them all out saints row 2 style and claim back the city.

SR5: you wake up in your red light district crib realizing it all was a dream, and slilwater is remade to be "2015" - heavily redone, and when you start a new game you should have an option after difficulty setting for superpowers. It will give the new saints row fans a taste of the old row and possibly successfully redo the bank robbery mission in the beginning of SR3. Volition could also throw in a few steelport easter eggs, and Steelport and Hell cars, along with weapon customization. Also, there should be a secret mission (like the mission where you kill Julius) where you can find all the tapped phone tracks between dex and troy (or was it Julius, i don't remember) whenever you want in the game, then after 100% you will be able to kill Troy and Dex (again) too keep you playing. they also should keep the new homies and integrate them into activities like when in a cutscene at the beginning of an activity you talk to someone, they end up being an unlockable after finishing the activity and you will be able to call them just like you do with Gat, Pierce, or Shaundi.

Yeah, I remember I've been playing Saints Row 2 WAY more regularly than 3 or 4, when I got bored of them, I didn't really come back, but I always came back to Saints Row 2 because it just doesn't get old. (They shut down the Servers on ps3 though, so I'm gonna have to buy it again for pc.) But I'm still gonna play it, and like it, which is way more than I can say for Saints Row 3 or 4
