Final assembly of the

This has been a long time coming. So much work has gone into rebuilding this 1/32 scale Slotstox car. I can't wait to get it back to its owner and see how fast it goes round the oval track.

I thoroughly enjoyed the series on rebuilding the slot stox. The detail on this would blow the minds of most of the members of our club. At Aldershot Knights Slot Stox Club (AKSSC) we use a plastic bumpered car with a clip in motor sledge. We celebrate 40 years next year, our basic design has served us well with high membership figures.

All you need to start building chassis is a good soldering iron and use good acid flux 👍🏻

A lot of building going into building that small car. I'll be interested in seeing the setup tips. When the car goes back to its owner, I'd like to hear his opinion of how it now drives. If it's actually raced again, I'd be interested in those results too. Your overall Stox renovating series has been great!

Hi Ron. Thank you for your continued support. I use my own electronically controlled soldering iron that I wire and assemble from all suitable parts to meet my slot car racing needs. I can make 110V and 240V versions. Drop me an email [e-mail] to discuss your requirements.

Sorry these kind of slot cars do not bring new people into 1/32 slot cars, your better to keep cars you build for 1/24 cars and their body’s from Lexan. Most people are not capable of building these or soldering.

Hi Perry. I agree that there are fewer people these days who are capable of building this type of slot car. It takes a lot of practice and skill built up over years. I love slot car racing and like to show all sorts of slot cars that might just inspire people to have a go.
