Only recently discovered you guys, love supporting a Queensland company but you guys are sending me broke. Every time you bring out a new product i have to have it. But when its a top quality Aussie product who cares, will just have to give up eating LOL
Hi Rob, I have not seen this occur on white cars, let alone any plastic trims before. If it's left for too long or to dry on dark cars it can occur, likewise if used on warm panels as it speeds up the curing process. You would be going way outside the directions we give to have this happen though. On the slight chance you do get any streaking or uneven patchiness when using Happy Ending, simply wipe over these marks with the damp Big Green Sucker right after use with a bit of extra pressure on the towel to remove these "high spots". If the marks are left for a few hours to totally cure, don't freak as the Paint Cleanse and Restore can remove them all very easily if that happens. Hope this helps. www.bowdensown.com.au/using-happy-ending-finishing-foam/
Excellent product. Whilst the product was great with just one coat, I found I get even better results when I apply two coats; foam on then rinse off, foam on again and rinse off again.
So bloody impressed by this, used it on our new Landcruiser on the weekend and holy hell does it just make the car pop! I had so many comments on the look of the car after this. Swear by the Bowdens products! The only thing you could have done to improve it is have the pop top slightly larger than the opening of the foam bottle so when you've filled to the correct level you could just push it down and it would self close.
A good idea on the pop top, but we are not really at a size just yet to make our own custom top yet (they are pretty expensive to mould), maybe down the track though, thanks again.
It's not the surface, but what runs over them that can create the issue... In this case the wipers. We found when first testing it years ago that it can smear on some glass when first hitting the wipers, creating a safety issue. So we ask that people not spray and clean it after for this reason. That said, you'll find plenty of people in our detailing FB group who do use it on the windscreen and have never had an issue too!
@@BowdensOwn.... Many of these types of products all basically advise the same and from a safety point of view it's worth following then clean the windscreen after it's always going to pick up some over spray
@BowdensOwn. The "3 Way" product appears to be doing a similar job. Would you say it is a replacement for the "Happy Ending" or complimentary to it ? PS. I'll be in my bunk
Hi mate and thanks for the comment. Three Way is actually a decontamination product for removing iron deposits in your paint. You use it before these sealants like this one, so it's not something that's a replacement here.
We have the bigger Gerni 160 here, with the new formula Snow Job foam (as mentioned in the video) that foams a bit better now. We have a Gerni 115, 135, 145 and 160 and all foam great with our Snow Blow cannon. Have a read of this guide especially at the end for the section on foaming ok: www.bowdensown.com.au/how-to-snow-foam
BowdensOwn Thanks for replying I actually have most of your products and find them excellent. I haven’t been to buy happy ending ( great name ) yet so I will go today. I prefer to go to super cheap auto so I will ask them to order it in if that haven’t got it. I'm not sure what their situation may be there, but I saw yesterday that Supercheap have it on their website and they can special order it in as well...

As a drying aid you mean? We tested this quite a bit and were surprised to see After Glow didn't affect the hydrophobic nature of the Happy ending, so its fine to use as a drying aid. Boss Gloss is not that protective, so it is also fine to use with the Big Green Sucker when drying we show in this video as well. However we don't see any need to use Boss Gloss, Fully Slick or After Glow on the already dried surface afterwards, as they wont better the protection or hydrophobic affect of Happy Ending. www.bowdensown.com.au/blog/latest-news/our-happy-ending/
Got a new car no paint protection So i will used this step? 1.Spray Snow job then rinse 2. 2 step wash with nanolicious wash then rinse 3. Use wet dreams Is this good to follow because you have a lot of product dont know what to use 😑
Yes that's fine to do Charlston, our little video on Wet Dreams, who you use if you don't have a pressure washer and snow cannon, can be found here: th-cam.com/video/7Vo7HklQw2o/w-d-xo.html If you are using a pressure washer and snow cannon then the Happy Ending shown in this video here is a good one to use. We have this new exterior product flowchart for 2020 here as well, the simple maintenance system shows your system there: www.bowdensown.com.au/blog/latest-news/new-2020-flow-chart/
Both work well and are compatible for that finish there - Bead Machine is longer lasting, Happy ending is much easier to use... Check our guide out on this topic here: www.bowdensown.com.au/guides/how-to-use-our-car-care/exterior-care/maintaining-ceramic-coatings-with-our-car-care-pro/
@BowdensOwn do you have any upgraded plans in the works? I saw a review of murch bead King and in the tests it's beat bead machine in all tests. Same with happy ending can it get even better then it already is?
If you've followed us for a while you will see we always make changes and advancements, quite often. The beauty of having a couple of chemists and a private lab here on site. Not to mention we are a touch fanatical as well with the things we create and make. :) Happy Ending is on a world scale great and if you watch reviews it pretty well eclipses them all, it's had updates in the background a few times since we released it too. The only additions we could make now will create issues with the usability/ curing times and our tests to date have it as far as we'd like to push that for now. On the other topic there, there are others who have now purchased that product and interestingly done similar tests and all have had quite different results than the TH-camr's longevity test. I have no idea why though, but by all means please feel free to get both products (Buying them, so it's not something compromised) to compare and see the differences for yourself as well.
I already bought happy ending and I've got some wet dreams left ill leave it as I enjoy putting it in the pressure washer. In the test bead machine still 2 to bead king by murch so doesn't matter much I guess still an awesome product and you do alot of work on the stingers a plus as i own one
All good Godcore223, you'll be happy with it. Just be sure to follow its directions ok. And a very nice car you have there. Possible compromised tests are a bit of a concern to us, as it has certainly happened overseas on a few occasions and never ends too well. I look forward to others doing a comparison and seeing it for themselves though. :)
Hi Jacob, you could, but we don't recommend it as this formula was made to be used with our foam cannon. A lot of work went into getting this formula and dilution ratio suitable for its water flow, as well as using ingredients to help prevent streaking issues when used with a foam cannon. Good news is we do have another product coming in the next couple of weeks that is used with a trigger spray though, so stay tuned.
Apart from the obvious that Happy Ending is a snow like liquid with simple, near flawless application, is it fair to assume the formulation is near identical to Afterglow or are there unique chemical differences ? 👍👍
@@BowdensOwn Thanks guys. I'll purchase a bottle next time I'm in Adelaide, as my local Repco, as in Port Pirie, cannot stock the majority of your products due to contractual agreements, and the local IGA doesn't stock your products in my home town of Woomera!!! 👍👍
Hi Ethan, no mate as it will not better the surface. You can however use Lazy Wax after using the Paint Cleanse and Restore in your yearly paint clean and then use this on top to further maintain the finish.
Hi Calvin, you'd use Happy Ending in your wash process as we show in the video by itself for most the time; Wet Dreams is more convenient trigger spray version of the formula for those who don't have a pressure washer, or don't need to do an entire car. For instance, we like using Wet Dreams for wheels after we have cleaned them and quickly topping up protection to areas during the wash where the beading is starting to diminish. Hope that helps.
It was no fault by us there sorry mate, we had a heap of stock made up, but the product sold out pretty crazy fast nationwide and caught the warehouses out that first month. Good news is all Autobarn stores should have it and the cannon bottles in stock it by now. :)
