Yeeeeeeees, been waiting so long for this product release, Can't wait to get mine and give it a try, Keep up the good work and thank you for all these impressive Ozzy made and well priced products you provide.
Fantastic, all other products are really good especially wet dreams and after glow. Looks like a worthy addition to my collection of detailing products.
Following up from my comment, I'll mention that I've bought this and used it today. Definitely well worth it and it applies easily and you don't need too much. Doesn't require a lot of rubbing and absorbs easily. Paint is in very good condition on my 15 yr old audi a6 but it's gleaming to the point you need some raybans when looking at this on a nice sunny day. Has been used along with the flash prep and the three way spray and claying rubber. Many thanks to the autobarn team in Moonah for all their help and advice for the great products 🤠
Hi there Kevin, as per this video, you would apply the Bead Machine first and then in the next wash use the Happy Ending finishing foam to boost it up mate.
Is this effective for applying on top of fully slick and before happy ending? Current detailing regime on the daily: Cleanse & restore - carnauba wax - fully slick x2. Happy Endings for regular top ups.
Hey mate, this one really likes a nice clean base to work its best, which is why there were quite a few different prep steps in the video. It can layer on top of Fully Slick, but its longevity will be affected there.
I need to do a 2 step correction on some dull paint, will bead machine after doing flash prep make it shiny like wax? Or wax it first? Then flash prep to get rid of oils then Bead machine?
Hey Gubanpg, after the correction I would certainly use the Flash Prep and then follow that with Bead Machine. That's it. This will add shine and a lovely level of gloss, of course depending on the colour of your vehicle, more noticeable on darker or metallic cars over a white or silver car.
Oh yes, a complete run through the entire system. At the most basic you would use Flash Prep and Bead Machine there, with just 4 Big Softies, which you can thankfully wash and dry to be used again. :)
Hi mate, both our After Glow and Boss Gloss can be used as drying aids (Both have different methods and cloths, watch some more in the links I put below) and won't affect the superhydrophobic finish of Bead Machine. Our After Glow video - th-cam.com/video/YIS83jO4qzk/w-d-xo.html Boss Gloss in this video when drying with the Big Green Sucker drying towel - th-cam.com/video/7Vo7HklQw2o/w-d-xo.html
Hi mate, no this is not ideal. The waxes will actually work to remove the Bead Machine (or any other sealant on the base) as they all use a light solvent in them. We do have a new paste wax called Beaut Beads that Bead Machine can be used on top of to further boost it, as they share similar chemistry. We use it in this video with Flash Prep and Bead Machine here: th-cam.com/video/zmTxxOsRh64/w-d-xo.html
Hi mate, this one will last longer and is more protective, both share similar chemistry so Happy Ending is good to use every few months on the Bead Machine to quickly top up and keep the protection its very best there. For older paints (like classic cars and single-stage paints) you will want our beaut beads paste wax (big jars are coming in a couple of months) , as it can put down a good initial layer and seal better on those older more porous paints.
Hi mate, sorry for the late reply. It is safe on the good quality vinyls, but keep away if you are using Claying Rubber with Three Way, as the rubber or even a clay bar can marr the soft vinyl surface and lift the sides if you go against them. Flash Prep has been fine for us in the past, as long as the vinyl is laminated or a solid colour (all good quality vinyl wraps and lettering should be). Another good tip with Flash Prep is to rub only in the direction of the vinyl edge as well, not the opposite way against the edge ok. It should not be used on older, or poor quality vinyl lettering as it could possibly affect the adhesive edges there too. Hope this all helps.
Is this made in Australia or elsewhere? I ask this because some of your products say made here, some simply say Australian owned, and some more recently have said made in Korea. I have been using Bowden's Own for a very long time, and bought the Mother Bucket way back when i very first saw it in Autobarn. I still have some of those bottles laying around.
It is 100% made here mate, even down to the more unique ingredients that were custom made for us locally. The only Korean products are the microfibre, as there are zero local options to make it here and the only other options is China, who we don't use.... As per your other comments in other video's here is a link for more information on this: www.bowdensown.com.au/proudly-australian-made-owned And Bead Machine here as well, the relevant bit being in the "Modern Aussie Magic" section: www.bowdensown.com.au/blog/latest-news/Introducing-bead-machine-super-hydrophobic-sealant/ - Dan
It shouldn't, a TH-camr did some video tests and used this wash in his long term test of Bead Machine, it lasted more than a few months on his test panel, so I would say it won't.
Hi mate, with car care, preparation is one of the most important things. With your a new car, for it to work its best, follow the steps in htis video for the best results.
No mate, not with this one. Use the Bead Machine on a perfectly bare surface (as per this video), a proper ceramic coating or a super hydrophobic wax for the best results.
Hey mate, this one is a bit longer lasting than Wet Dreams, which we always had intended as the easy to use maintenance product for Bead Machine. It's and a tad more anti static as well, so it's smooth to the touch but not quite as slick. It's more how you use it where the differences are, which is why its good to use the two as a super hydrophobic system of car care. A good little article on the difference of the spray products can be found here: www.bowdensown.com.au/blog/latest-news/differences-between-our-detailing-sprays/
@@BowdensOwn awesome thanks for that. Great reference document. Bed Machine looks awesome and I can't wait to try it. Keep punching guys, you're killing it.
Ah yes, we felt the need to show them in at least one video as good car care has always been about doing good preparation. This product really responds well to a good quality surface, so it became the video we used to show a full system with. Good news is you do not need to do this every single time you want to reapply Bead Machine afterwards, but doing it once a year on a daily driver will keep it at its best.
Yes you can for sure, a couple of our crew crew do it on theirs. Just make sure they are clean before the flash prep stage of course. I personally prefer the Wet Dreams super hydrophobic sealant on rims, only as its easier to do as your washing. Spray on, rinse off. Hope that all helps.
@@BowdensOwn thanks for the reply! I bought a new car last week and I did a full clay bar detail and bead machine application yesterday. I didn't do the wheels as I wasn't sure, but I've also picked up some happy ending foam, which I'll be using on my next wash to maintain the car, so I hope that will be enough for the wheels? (because happy endings and wet dreams perform similar outcomes, correct?) That last sentence out of context, haha.
@@BowdensOwn one more question regarding wheels if I may - wheely clean should be applied to dry wheels, but what if they are really dirty? Let's say I've been on a dirt road and they are covered, is the best thing to first give them a general wash, then wait until dry and wheely clean? I'm going to assume spraying wheely cleanand brushing on a dirty wheel is the wrong move.
Sorry for the late reply, have been away in a car rally in Tassie, have returned with wheels a bit like you mention! A little more info is needed to your circumstance, car, etc, , but I will do my best to answer here - If wheels are dirty and it involves brake dust, yes use Wheely Clean first (more on this in the second paragraph below). If they have more heavy mud on them, like you see on 4x4's always do a pre-wash as their will not be enough iron there to have the formula work its best. I'd even look at using Orange Agent if there is not much brake dust. Like in our 4x4 video here: th-cam.com/video/Yhv3Qm2__us/w-d-xo.html If its grime and brake dust, like I have now from 6 days of wet Tassie roads, then Wheely Clean them first and pressure wash down then once more using it with the brushes are prescribed. The first is to help get rid of a lot of the heavier/ harder grime that could further scratch up the surface of your wheels and the 2nd go is to give them a really good in-depth clean. Another video of a normal, general wheel clean can be found here too: th-cam.com/video/MvLNXmU-Ekk/w-d-xo.html
I love Bowdens but it'd be nice though to see a clean on a daily drive, top to bottom and not that confusing, rather than an already clean Porsche or McLaren. The steps are getting quite confusing and lengthy in doing. I'm still a big fan though :). I mostly go to other people on youtube tp get something a bit more realistic. Best regards.
Cheers mate, and thats good feedback I appreciate! this video is a deep dive of a complete system for the more hardcore fanatics. However, if you ever chance on Facebook or Instagram you'll see we do hundreds of live stories each year (a few each week) on exactly what you are after, daily drive cars, race cars, classic cars, even crazy dirty 4WD's too if thats your thing, let me know exactly what your car is and what you are after and I'll see what we have already made as there might already be a video for you. - Dan

(We all know which brands I'm referring to) The products are safe to use on exterior and interior from old classics original paint/interior to modern cars. I have tried this product and I was really impressed how easy it was to apply being in a spray bottle. It does work and it works extremely well. A sealant is far better than wax for a daily driver.
G'day mate, the Bead Machine is used on dry paint and its protection lasts a bit longer. Wet Dreams as we show in the video is the quick and easy maintenance product for Bead Machine as a part of a super hydrophobic system of car care. A good little article we have on the different products can be found here: www.bowdensown.com.au/blog/latest-news/differences-between-our-detailing-sprays/
Hey Colin, we totally understand this! Everyone is different in what they want and need in their car care systems. As long as you're happy with what you use and the final results you cannot ever go wrong mate. Cheers for the comment. :)
Hey mate, it works best on clear over base paints that are on good condition. We have tried it on single stage paints and it works, but the longevity suffers a little. So for those you might be best keeping to the more traditional products like carnauba waxes and the Fully Slick sealant we have.
Hey mate, depends on what you're personally after. For people with modern cars wanting the best in bay to use protection and reflective shine it certainly can. For hardcore car fanatics/ classic car enthusiasts who love the look and feel of a traditional wax after it has cured, not it will not.
I'd love to give this stuff a go, looks great. Also, do you guys intend on branching out to air fresheners by any chance? because I'd love one that smells like either vinyl care, fully slick, after glow, lazy wax or pong go, those smell amazing! P. S. Love your products
It's something we have never looked into as there is no challenge involved, its just a fragrance dipped into a bit of card! But down the track once we get through some other new projects we might have a look at it for sure.
Depending on how you intend on using it, in that case as a topper for a ceramic coating to boost shine, water action and a sacrificial layer of protection on top, then yes it can be fore sure. www.bowdensown.com.au/blog/latest-news/Introducing-bead-machine-super-hydrophobic-sealant/
Congratulations on another fantastic looking product. Great timing too as I was about to do a decon detail on my ceramic coated car. Just to get my process correct would Bead Machine be used after Lazy Wax and before Happy Endings? Would my my process now would be: Wheely Clean Snow and rinse Nano wash Rinse and dry 3 Way with clay rubber Nano wash Rinse and dry Lazy Wax (with curing time) Bead Machine Happy Endings Afterglow Thanks for the advice.
Hi mate, as how we do it in the video is the best practice for this one. It will layer on top of waxes but we find it doesn't last as long as if it was put directly onto the paint like we show here. So I'll leave that with you to choose what you wish to do there. And After Glow is a drying aid, so you only need to use that when drying the car in the future ok. Another good guide we have on using it is here: www.bowdensown.com.au/guides/how-to-use-our-car-care/exterior-care/using-bead-machine-our-super-hydrophobic-sealant/
Hmmm, we have not seen him since filming this a few weeks ago now, he says its as he is working safely from home and the car is very safe too though...
Hi MatT, Autobarn stores should have it (even in WA) and a few Repco's as well, with more getting it in the coming week. Part code to quote is BOMACHINE
Thanks Dan and Team - can not wait. Ultimately it is for new modern clear coats but how about older single stage bangers, anything coming or is this OK?🧐🤔
@@charlesbardforth6738 not asking much there mate! :) Ceramic coatings are something we have been working on for around 10 or more years now, which is why we have a lot of respect for those formulas and don't call our super hydrophobic range "ceramics" as the term in our eyes is just misleading. Doing a nice polish is on the agenda one day for sure, but they are very complex and will take a lot of time to get right! Adding protection in them will mean they won't work as well as having a pure polish compound and a seperate sealant/ wax or coating, which is still best practice in our eyes currently.
@@BowdensOwn perfect point. A long term coating in theory doesn't need to be ceramic. However. I appreciate all the hard work. And will always support Aussies first. Thanks
We usually get all this done in a few hours, (it's something we show on our Instagram stories reasonably often with a variety of cars) good thing is you don't need to do it every time after. Biggest thing is how the maintenance cleaning becomes much faster and easier due to the super hydrophobic surface being easier to keep clean from there on in as well.
I used this process on my wife's car and we still can't believe how good it looks. It's literally better than when picked it up from the showroom!

That'd be awesome
Is this available at supercheap?
Not yet sorry mate, but should be later this year.
just so i can wrap my head around where this product fits in, would this be akin to carpro's reload?
Depending on how you intend on using it, in that case as a topper for a ceramic coating to boost shine, water action and a sacrificial layer of protection on top, then yes it can be fore sure.

Congratulations on another fantastic looking product. Great timing too as I was about to do a decon detail on my ceramic coated car. Just to get my process correct would Bead Machine be used after Lazy Wax and before Happy Endings? Would my my process now would be:
Wheely Clean
Snow and rinse
Nano wash
Rinse and dry
3 Way with clay rubber
Nano wash
Rinse and dry
Lazy Wax (with curing time)
Bead Machine
Happy Endings
Afterglow
Thanks for the advice.
Did Brett bring the Porsche back?
Hmmm, we have not seen him since filming this a few weeks ago now, he says its as he is working safely from home and the car is very safe too though...
BowdensOwn hahaha
😍😍😍😍
Stockists out yet?
Oh and those beads on the label remind me of the Southern Cross on the Aussie Flag 🇦🇺 .
Gee that dream i had was close 😂😂🤣
Hi MatT, Autobarn stores should have it (even in WA) and a few Repco's as well, with more getting it in the coming week. Part code to quote is BOMACHINE
Thanks Dan and Team - can not wait.
Ultimately it is for new modern clear coats but how about older single stage bangers, anything coming or is this OK?🧐🤔
Think I just found my new car care products
I think you should have washed the car at lest 4 more times...come on!
A car like this, another dozen just for the feel good factor alone. :)
I am running out of money guys. Stop making good products
We'll have little break soon, been a huge couple fo years of development to get this and the last Mr Black finished and out in the open! :)
@@BowdensOwn any chance bowdens will release a long term "coating" style product or an all in one polish with bead machine in it?
Thanks
Good stuff but... this ends up being a 6 hour car wash lol
