Hi Brendon…very cool ! We have the same top 5 but a different order. For me #1 Diary # 2 Bark at The Moon #3 No More Tears # 4 Blizzard # 5 Ultimate Sin. I love the new album Patient #9. So good ! I want to thank you for your positive reviews on your channel. I don’t understand why people need to be so over the top and negative if they don’t like an album or song. It’s enough to say it just doesn’t work for me. You do an excellent job with your reviews and I appreciate that. Thanks again. Chez
I really agree on the top three albums. All of them classics. At this moment I'm so excited about the latest album that I would rank it even higher than you did. Bark at the Moon is a lot of nostalgia since it was my first LP purchase. Let's not forget to mention the live album Tribute which is a stellar showcase from the early years.
@@BrendonSnyder Yes of course just wanted to shine a light on Brad’s amazing guitar tone. Also all the solos are totally improvised on the spot pretty amazing. Cheers

Great list. I understand why the latter albums are in the second half of list. Since Down To Earth his ablums are total similar. I believe No More Tears is the best.
Nice ranking video, it's always interesting to hear other peoples takes on artists i enjoy & their album catalogue. My own list would flow slightly different but that could be said of anyone who is a fan & possibly how, where or when they started to become one. Thanks for letting us know your personal choices & why. Whilst ranking videos & the authors of said lists may never fully follow your own, it does spark interest in delving back into records you may have dismissed to see if you unduly did so, pause for thought & internal debate, cheers Brendon.
Good list of great albums. I've always liked Ozzy Osbourne more as a solo artist than in Black Sabbath. Personally I like the Tony Martin era of Black Sabbath and especially "Headless Cross" and "TYR" albums.
2th time watching this. Great job. Just to give you an idea, rank every album that Ozzy has ever done :D All the Sabbath studio albums with the man and all of Ozz's solo studio albums. And to make it even more special, throw all the live albums on the mix too. So, to put it simple, all the official full lenght (studio or live) album releases by Ozzy (solo/sabbath) ranked. Can't find any ranking videos like that on TH-cam, and as the idea may sound weird, if you think of it, it's just one singer and he's catalog. Please. Would be cool and different.
My Top 5 Ozzy albums are: 5) Patient Number 9 (A really strong effort on this one!) 4) Ultimate Sin (Jake's on fire here but, the producer has him too low in the mix) 3) Speak Of The Devil (Holds a special place for me so I can't leave it off) 2) Blizzard Of Ozz (Absolutely amazing debut!) 1) Diary Of A Madman (10 of 10 Masterpiece! Bob Daisley & Randy Rhoads would have been unstoppable together)
Hey Brendon, awesome countdown of the Ozzy albums. I never knew that the “Under Cover” album is a stand alone clone of the Boxset interesting. I have not listened the new album yet. The other day I took “Black Rain” into the car and heard it all. For “Scream” I had downloaded 2 extra songs that came on a deluxe package of the album. No need for me to buy the album again if I can download them I will. But I’m picky with downloads though. If it’s a different version of a song of the album, I don’t need it. Last time I did that is I downloaded the extra tracks of the “Future Past” album. I’m not sure what order I would rank the Ozzy albums. I will think about that and return here and give you my ranking.
12. Down to Earth 11. Black Rain 10. Patient Number 9 9. Ordinary Man 8. Blizzard of Ozz 7. Bark at the Moon 6. The Ultimate Sin 5. Ozzmosis 4. Diary of a Madman 3. No Rest for the Wicked 2. Scream 1. No More Tears

…but it’s live. The songs aren’t newly written at the time so I don’t feel it can be compared to the studio albums. It’s like trying to compare a greatest hits to one studio album. It simply isn’t an equal comparison.
@@BrendonSnyder I know, but you have to consider what Willis was dealing with, and that it’s honestly better than anything he’s done since. How about going to that show at the Ritz??
the list always starts at number 3, slot in the two albums by Blizzard of ozz. I think diary of a Madman is the superior album which tells you how good it is given that the debut eponymous album is a masterpiece too.
I like your videos man because you just seem like a nice guy. Can't imagine you getting vulgar and trash talking anyone's music if you don't like it. I find it too difficult to rate Ozzy's albums. It's like interviewing someone after they have spent a month in heaven and asking them what their favourite thing is that they have done so far. I dunno, all of it? Lol. I am maybe a little dissapointed that you didn't feel Patient Number 9 was a bit higher but I understand why. Nevertheless there isn't a bad song on it. I even like Darkside Blues, which most fans don't seem to.

Yeah I don’t think he’d still be there today. Plus Ozzy goes through guitarists like underwear. Also if Randy had lived I don’t think we’d be discussing him today they way he is talked about. It’s that affect of dying at the height of his career where he never got a chance to make an album that bombs. Same with Jimi Hendrix. When you only make 3 studio albums and die, it’s such a small catalogue to base one’s opinion on. Still both were amazing in their prime, can’t deny that.
