Would personally do it with a glue compressor. tThe Night Shine one is an emulation of the alesis 3630 Compressor which was very cheap back in the days. I would say you can achieve a better result with any Stock Compressor. The only thing I would say is different is the dirt it adds. Just Copy the Settings he uses on the master buss with the glue compressor and Sidechain it to the kick. What I recently found out is, that a transient shaper with an input and pump feature could add the same character

He's using Ableton Live 9 for Windows. Also available for OS X.
You could use J Bridge to bridge your 32 bit apps to 64.
nightshine is 32 bit, you really shouldn't be using the 64 bit version of ableton.
