Congratulations on showing off Newcastle. Some beautifully shot drone footage, shame you didn’t get to St James Park to see Newcastle’s Utd’s famous football stadium. Good luck & safe travels, best wishes from Newcastle 🎉

Thanks for doing this video on our city, I was born in Willington Quay, Wallsend, just down the river next to Tynemouth , Roman name Segedunum & far from being the end of the 73 mile long Roman wall, it's actually the start. I saw where you visited the Lit & Phil (one of my favourite buildings) &, where you've taken photos of the entrance some workman, digging a hole for utilities, stumbled upon a section of that same Roman wall, forgotten about for centuries...you both walked over it 😅 The Lit & Phil was used by many of Newcastle's most famous folks, George Stephenson (the Father of the Railways) & his son, Robert, the famous railway & bridge engineer , also Joseph Swan, the inventor of the lightbulb , Richard Grainger, the architect of Grainger Town (all those beautiful 19th century buildings so beloved of todays budding architects) ...hope we see you back again sometime 😊

Youll not find many places in the UK where people absolutely love the city they come from. Newcastle is an exception to that.
Yet the rest or the country seems to be intent on being ignorant about its glory. Ive brought a few friends to newcastle and they were all absolutely shocked at how nice it is. They almost fell in love with it as much as i did, and im not even from there.

The Tyne Bridge was built first and then the same architect build the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which is why they look very similar. They've just started restoration of the Tyne Bridge, to get it back to its former colour etc.
