The Countach is the ultimate pin-up poster car. It has the Italian wedge shape of designer Marcello Gandini's concept Alfa Romeo Carabo and Lancia Stratos Zero brought to reality. And after Walter Wolf added a massive rear spoiler to his own special edition car, the V-shaped rear wing was added as an optional extra. It made the car look even more aggresive and outlandish.
I had a poster on my wall of a white Countach. White wheels with a white body and a white interior. So there was only one possible outcome for this casting.
Matchbox produced the casting for 15 years from 1985 to 2000. It saw many different colours and did receive some additional detailing in the World Class series... but not as much as mine!

Nice detail 👌 vast improvement on change of new wheels at end , the rear just didn't do it on the first new set .
looks pretty realistic now, great detailing. :) and great colour choice, too. ^^ white in white was the top of the tops back when... innocent like freshly felled snow. or something. :)

I love your videos and your restorations are excellent but you have to lose the black Sharpies. There are much better products on the modeling market.
Do you have any suggestions for good alternatives? I also use Uni Posca black but that has a very matt finish
@@DieCastRestos Drawlish Acrylic Paint Pens, Artistro Acrylic Paint Pens with Extra Fine Tips are a really good product but tend to need a lot of priming. Marsh Paint Markers are very good, more industrial but hard wearing. Sharpie has a line called "Sharpie Professional" worth looking into. I understand the Posca thing, I painted the "Bat Phone" in a 1:24 a die cast 60's comic's Batmobile kit a few years ago with one and had the same dissapointing result. A clear gloss coat solved the problem. Hope that's helpful, was in no way trying to be a troll and should have made these suggestions with my first comment. Cheers.
