I got a 7 string but I have 59 gauge for the lowest string and tuned it down too Eb is that correct? Because something sounds a little off when I play it
@@dre_swish6209 that string is way too thin. I would recommend using a 70+ gauge string for that or having a longer scale lenght than 25 inches. I have a 62 gauge on a 23ish inch scale and it goes down to an A without being too sloppy. I hope that i could help you, feel free to ask me if something's unclear

I love how at 2:35 it transitions from a meshuggah-style riff into some wild hi-hat syncopation only using double bass as transition.

Because they did. Node and Mesmer are incredibly soft. They're terrible, but so is Alien. Being heavy means nothing.
