What' I'd recommend is booking 2 Demos on different days. The first demo will either blow you away or really disappoint due to the hype. I think after the 2nd demo you'll really know how you feel!

If you go by TH-cam tech people. This shit is a winning product. In reality its usage is awesome during the honeymoon stage. Once you realize that it takes way too many taps and you are actually doing things slower then reality kicks in and hopefully by then you are still within return windoww. This product eventually gets shelved. It’s usage longevity is small

I bought one that should arrive next week. I work with data and need multiple screens, but I spend a lot of time in hotels with my macbook. I'm hoping this can give me a familiar multi-screen setup I can deploy anywhere. Also, because I spend time in hotels and traveling, I hope to make use of the entertainment features. Lastly, my remote team uses Teams to communicate and I'll sometimes get 30 quick calls a day. I'm really hoping the avatar feature can help me make 'video calls' without having to find a decent backdrop, etc.
Super helpful video - thank you.

I also started with the iphone4, because it was the first one that actually looked cool. But also because of functionality. It was the first one that could run TH-cam smoothly. 2009 was a good year. I could relate to you, but now I am much more financially free than in 2009, since I graduated IN 2009 lol. I’m probably gonna get one of these.

Appreciate the honest review. I tried a demo out yesterday and definitely came to similar conclusions. It’s a mind blowing media experience, but at $6K + $200 for Zeiss lenses + $600 for Apple Care. I can buy a very nice home theater setup with that. Granted no 3D, but it’s also something I can experience with friends and family.

The vision is odd because it’s a device built for a sit down experience with an OS aiming towards on the go. Meta doesn’t focus on making something feel or look like an on the go device. 12:23

  • @westmcgee9320
    @westmcgee9320 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

I’m really glad to see the concepts of build quality, user experience, etc being addressed separate from whether a particular person should buy one.
A lot of reviewers miss this.
    Prices change.
    Products evolve.
    Different users have different needs.
The initial iPhone release wasn’t for me. It cost too much and offered too little for what I used a smartphone for.
People new to the smartphone world didn’t care about those same things and so were all over it.
At the same time, many people claim the AVP is too expensive but I don’t hear most saying that about the smartphones they switch every other year.
The point isn’t to say everyone should buy one. I can speak for others.
But the prospect of diving in or not is more complicated than most seem to think.
But it will happen at some point in the near or far future.

Thank you for a review. As for AirDrop, I don’t have problems transferring files without wearing AVP. However, for some big files I need to put them on for a bit every 25-30Gb so the transfer process continuous without interruption. As an additional option, you can just leave it rest on your forehead and sending won’t be stopped. Trials and errors:)

Vision Pro is a solution for a problem many users wont have. Gaming is a huge draw for people and without dedicated VR controllers it just handicaps the potential, its impossible to interact as accurately with hand gestures.
Its a strange entry level they chose, surely appeal to the wider market first and then specialise. Instead they made a super premium device that is unobtainable for the majority and not that useful for them anyway.
I tried it the other day, its stunning visually but apart from watching media its not useful as I dont spend days on planes or in hotel rooms working. VR / AR for me and many people will be for gaming for the most part so hopefully they will address this market in future.

I'm getting a Vision Pro as well (out in the UK now) to compare as well as to hopefully enjoy the movie and gaming experience even better from pc and mac streaming. I'm curious, definitely, as the Quest 3 it's not being satisfactory if not for gaming purposes (the OS annoys the bejesus out of me and the quirks are getting worst with every update, which has been reported by a few people already).

I work in the lens industry and your lenses don’t have any anti reflective coating. You would see another reflection. So if you hold the lens up you see a light reflecting and another version of that light reflecting . It would be purple or blue or even kinda green. There is different anti reflective coating. But you will legit see it on the lens while you hold it. Look for the the light reflection and you will see the exact reflection in another color in a different spot on the lenses

An older relative really overreacted to the early version so, it’s been Persona non grata, since then.

That strap looks like it grips onto the speakers which is concerning. The speakers are the most delicate part. In the drop test that I watched, the speakers tore and stopped working before the glass even managed to get a scratch. People have also reported the speakers breaking simply from lifting the Apple Vision Pro from the speakers.

Tausif Hussain reviews his five-month experience with the Apple Vision Pro, detailing its pros and cons. He appreciates the device's surreal user interface, intuitive controls, and superior video quality, making it excellent for watching movies and web browsing. However, he criticizes its performance in low light, issues with lens reflections, and the potential for eye strain and migraines. Hussain finds the immersion and FaceTime features initially captivating but not long-term essentials. He is frustrated by the lack of USB-C connectivity, reliance on Airdrop with its own bugs, and the cumbersome external battery pack. He highlights a useful accessory from Annapro that reduces the device's weight and pressure on the face, enhancing comfort for prolonged use. Despite its high price, he finds the Vision Pro's design and potential for content consumption impressive but advises caution due to its limitations and high cost.

Great video. Very informative. In this comment I also want to share a perspective on a topic that many may ponder (unnaturally) on a given day - namely quantum physics. Growth in the fields of science, technology, standard physics, and cosmology have brought many to wrestle with the limits of space-time, the structure of our world, the concept of existence, and the boundaries of what we call reality. The two streams below address the perplexity and uncertainty in these areas. The first examines circumstantial evidence toward a reasoned conclusion. The second presents questions & answers on digital physics in a manner that actually makes sense - straightforward and easier for us "common folk" to understand. The videos are up to par; I'm sure you'll find them exciting as have others.

500 vs 5000 absolutely no comparison the quest 3 is insane for the price, 10x for basically slightly better experience nope
