unfortunately it looks like blizzard nerfed the frogs from dropping lesser charms which significantly reduces the bronze per hour of this farm. =(

Just for anyone not yet aware: the cloak is no longer account wide.
The achievement bonus is what your alts share and that is a max of 100% xp bonus and some flat stats (150 stamina and 100 main stat) at rank 12 for collecting 4200 threads.
Not 100% of what your main cloak has. Just 100% bonus xp.
And thats a fix cap. Anything else your char has do do individually. If you want to have 300% on all your alts to level (aka what they advertised), well you gotta push them all through raids from 100-300 yourself. individually.
disappointed? yes, we all are. make your voice heard or blizz wont do anything.
Oh and btw, , lfr gives nothing in return and normal raid scaling is a total joke. either no dps low lvl or no survivability high lvl. have "fun"

Oh wow. They straight up did a bait and switch with the whole account wide cloak thing. I actually wasn’t aware of this.
I planned to level multiple characters because I was told it was gonna be insanely fast and I’m not really into collecting cosmetics/mounts etc. Now it looks like I’ll just level up one time running character since it still won’t be as fast as leveling in retail.

I did the frog farm for lesser charms back in MoP. I won't be doing it again.
The big difference, I guess he doesn’t know but most reputations in MoP have an npc that exchanges those charms and every turn-in gives you rep.
MoP remix has boosted rep so in case you’re missing one for achievements or mount collecting this is a really fast option.
Can’t wait to not get invited to groups cause I didn’t do this exploit and will take me months to gather the same resources.

Did you expect anything less from them? Its every time the same riddle with blizzard. I wonder if its on purpose, cause I'm sure someone could have foreseen this frog issue as it existed back in the day too.
and its already happening, its crazy that every non neet has to suffer through months of playing to get the same rewards the 100s of people got in 24 hrs and theyre free to clear whatever. i cant even live normal raidmechs while they can clear mythic SoO has a 12 man
Oh you mean to say the #1 way to farm timeless coins in MoP is also the best way to farm bronze in Remix? Insane.

He also didn’t play MoP and doesn’t know how this got fixed in 2013. Once there is a ton of people on the isle, tagging gets really hard even in 2x4 and people either stop or have to do it at 3am.

With the bait and switch on the cloak and people farming frogs like their life depends on it because you don’t get bronze fast enough otherwise i‘ll grab my mounts and head outta their.. really liked the idea of the event

Figured this out day 1, I feel special
the dailies for scenario and dungeon. And I do each normal and heroic dungeon/scenario to gain that extra daily bronze.
I also get me the MoP-Remix only cosmetics and mounts first so I got them put of the way :D everything else can also be collected in retail.
How do you set the filter to not scrap the Gems? I can't seem to figure it out, none of the filter options worked for me
right click anything you dont want it to scrap and then add to ignore list and then it shouldnt show up. have to do it for each gem but it goes pretty quick
New player here. If I make a horde character in remix and my main is alliance in retail, will my alliance character still have the mounts I unlock in remix once the event ends?
Yes. Mounts are account wide. Ive had both horde and alliance characters for years, and both factions get the mounts. The only time you won't is for faction specific mounts.

Frogs just got fixed to no longer drop charms as I'm posting this.

I made the same class as my main 1 because I already have 2 of each class max lvl, and 2 I wanted to feel exactly what my tinkers where doing, if I was playing a class I wasn’t familiar with I’d think it was just my class or spec or talents making the explosions n stuff

LFR now gives 7% exp bonus for your cape
Finished my first 70 earlier today, wish I started Normal Raids earlier didn’t realise that Normals any level was joining.
Solid tip, if you’re a dps under level 70 just make a group don’t bother queuing for one.
If you’ve never tanked or healed before, q for that I promise you it’s way easier then you think!
Especially for Vault, I legit did my first every healing today in a raid and the other healer had never done it either and he was level 27 we finished vaults in about 35-40mins was so damn easy
I agree it’s easy, I did the same thing you did but for tanking. If you stand in something that does damage, move lol
Well another tip, so I did hit 70 and tried to clear my first NM and I got 1 shot by everything turns out, after you hit 70 you can’t play the game anymore because scaling is broken
@@MotivatedManyeah had the same issue with my healer. I needed to farm all gear to 346 + rings+ trinkets and still barely feel as powerfully as me in lvl 35…

Are Scenarios easy though? The hp swinging in mop remix is even worse that retail
dude when i que as tank half of the time we get a second tank and then we take 5 or more minutes to kill the last boss and someone always dies. scenarios while leveling have got to be the least fun feature mop remix has to offer. but there is a daily for it after all..

Tanks are insane in this mode, strongly recommend questing and pulling 10 mobs at a time

to add to that, once you have a max toon so you can have a cloak right away. A druid tank is pretty hilariously fun to dungeon spam with at least for the first 20-30 levels. Can easily just pull the entire dungeon and not even take damage.
U can pull big even at level 70? As a healer until level 60 i could pull the entire map without any issue now pulling more than 2 mob his a issues....
Im trying to take my time but the sooner i level these 20 alts the sooner i can relax before TWW
Of course it’s those stupid frogs. lol I probably killed a billion of those during MoP final patch between all of my alts. (I had one of every class at max level). I still do have all classes at max level, so I am creating them on another server.
If blizzard does not do anything about the ppl who did this then they should just upgrade everyone's cloak buff to have the same stats as the one who has the most stats on their cloak buff and blizzard doing something is to remove the stats on the cloak buff for the ppl who did this frog thingy

Seems neat but after 20 plus years playing this game I have a max toon of every class...... So this mode losses it's power for me
Same but it's still so fun.
I also have max lvl of all class, multiple of some lol. But I'm using this to practice healing and tanking on classes I've never tried, and getting the mounts and appearances. It's actually kinda fun and better than other pre expansion launches
@@thunder9236 I'm in the same boat. bunch of max level characters and I'm just making duplicates at this point of different race combos/names, cause damn is dungeon spamming fun with all the new abilities and how fucked the scaling for lower levels is making you a god haha.
You can buy heavenly onyx cloud serpent and tusks of mannoroth. And other stuff
Blizzard has just nerfed the Frog Farm, preventing Frogs from dropping Lesser Charms.
Where do you turn in the charms for bronze?
@@elissablom5830 any of the daily hubs have an "Aiding the *Faction*" quest that you turn them in.

I did the frog farm for a couple hours the other day, didn't even think about the lesser coins doing anything... at work now, turning in the 3k+ of them I have when I get home!

@@peacesoundsstuff Frogs got nerfed, so it doesnt really matter anymore. I believe he covered the spot in the video. If you participated in the frogs seemingly at all, you also got rolled back. So I would warn against taking "advantage" of any really good farms. Apparently being an efficient degenerate has consequences.

It’s actually pathetic that the most efficient way to farm bronze is killing frogs for charm turn ins.

This just adds to the BS. I’ve played two characters to 70- it’s enjoyable. However, the cloak nerfs, tuning, and bronze acquisition is just off putting. Especially when item upgrades take thousands upon thousands to increase item level.
Man this event sucks, I hate myself for resubbing thinking I could level alts fast and "feel overpowered" like the promotion stated.
This event blows.
They nerf every single farm that comes up and corral us into the content that only shows how severely behind everybody but the people that got in on early farms we will be for the next month or more.

Lol dude every server is packed full of groups tagging frogs... The competition is fierce and likely not worth it
it is doable if people use brain - there is enough space for 3 groups 2x4 - so for 24 people

those frogs were farmed in the same fashion in 2013 when the timeless isle was dropped. so this min-max culture is 11 years old.

Blizzard is not creating a game mode with the purpose of a bunch of mid maxer nerds to get their so loved mounts. Is a leveling system to help people get more alts for the new players that actually want to play the game. Not like this idiots in the comments that have 60+ toons and no life.
There’s plenty of people that want to play, want to level up characters and they don’t do it because it is too long. The bronze + mounts is a side dish. Is not blizzards problem that you want to make it a main dish.
