I have a lot of bio hair but it is aging and I can't wear the long styles that I really like without looking older than I want. And I'm losing my patience with styling; not my first choice in how I want to spend my time anymore. Love the helper hair! My Rose Ellas are in Mocha with Cream, British Milk Tea, and Strawberry Shortcake. Such a great style but this wig does not need more hair. Ha, I would be Cousin It in the hand tied cap - well, Cousin It with a headache from the too tight cap! You look beautiful in both colors. Great review!

Hello and congrats! This one will make amazing up-do's, but it is a a bit heavy.. be sure to use some adhesive (It Stays Body Adhesive is my go to - just place it on forehead before adjusting the lace front into place) to secure it and keep from shifting during wear:-) XOXO

Yess! I think the heavy density on this piece is a real MISS.. because handtied versions of any style are typically lighter in density as not as much fiber is needed to obscure wefting, etc. XOXO
I cannot tell the difference in look or the way they fall in the hand tied vs. the wefted versions. That really goes to the fabulous fibers Belle Tress uses. They're my fav brand. I missed this review of Rose Ella from Taz, but I've wondered about this style and how I would like it. I love it! It would be gorgeous in my fav Belle Tress color, Chocolate w/caramel, I've got several pieces in that color. And BTW, Taz, thank you so much for putting the links to the various background girls. I used to wonder what some of them were because they're so pretty!
It's past my comfortable length as well and I too have been blessed with a skintone but always want the neutral or neutral leaning a little warm. I ve never taken the p lunge with Rose Ella, but WOW she's a beauty and my.bio hair used to me at least that thick as the handtied. I might have to make room for a special occasion Rose Ella handtied on clearance! The beach waves are amazing!!! I truly love BSSC. I'm currently loving my Wavy Day, but I have to say, my hand tied wigs are just amazing, simple as that!
Interesting you mention about not moving your head as much; I’m exactly like that and find my head can be a little more unconsciously stiff with longer hair. But, sometimes it’s a trade off for this beautiful hair I wouldn’t otherwise be able to grow naturally! As always an exemplary presentation, Taz. I've been wearing for years Jon Renau hand-tied "Julianne", colour #60. It blends perfectly with my almost pure white beard. I've recently lost a lot of weight and when my current stock of x8 Julianne eventually dies I'd like to switch to hand-tied Rose Ella by Belle Tress. My question is about colour. I know Belle Tress "Rose Ella" hand tied doesn't come in white but there is a coconut silver blonde. Would this be a suitable almost match for John Renau's #60? I know the coconut silver blonde is a blend of platinums and white so I'm thinking ... this Belle Tress white may almost be a better match for my bio hair that is, my beard and eyebrows. I've worn "Julianne" as I say for quite some time but I'm growing a little tired of the style and I think with my massive weight loss I can definitely carry off a longer style. I'd be purchasing end of the year just before I return to work from holidays. So I'm thinking it'll appear as if I've grown my hair 😂 I'm a university lecturer so it's a fairly conservative environment. Kind of. Unfortunately, I feel I don't have the leeway of disclosure I wear hair amazingly, as far as I'm able to discern no-one has ever suspected I wear hair. Hi Taz love your presentations and how you bring your wigs to life. I have a very high forehead and have always worn bangs as it balances my facial proportions. Is it possible to cut bangs into a wig as there aren't many made with them. I love the beach wave styles and it would be awesome if they offered some with bangs for people like me.
Hello! I think Belle Tress is coming out with some longer beach wave styles with bangs, yay! But yes, you can trim a shorter fringe on most wigs. I caution on you on wigs with really curly texture, however.. when trimming bangs, they may not lay flat. I recommend a stylist cut in a straight across bang, although I trim my own. XOXO

It is harder to feel free with a huge head of hair, it's true! I love all these styles so much, these full ones, but I usually choose regular synthetic when I'm wearing long and I usually go with the whispy, lighter density wigs like Jackson or Miranda for that very reason. I don't like my neck covered or crowded in and in these wigs, I don't feel at all restricted yet I'm still wearing longer, somewhat glamorous styles. I guess we all know where our comfort zone is. That's why I don't wear my Mila that much - It gives me a sense of just too much hair!
Exactly! "Crowded & Restricted" is exactly how it makes me feel too! It might be a matter of getting used to it, but I doubt I ever will feel at home in long hair. XOXO
I think it also relates to one's stature. Bigger Fuller hair has more room on a taller woman. Scale is so important. I find that I look slimmer in the long cuts that have a lighter feathered texture with some inward movement.

Interesting cap construction. I had not seen this type before. This is the first wig I've seen on you were the part coming out of the lace front does not look natural. I think it has to do with the coloring, but I'm not sure. That part gives it away as a wig.
Can we recycle synthetic wigs? Or what do we do with them when they are done? It seems such a shame on a cap as good as this to just throw them away. If you are in touch with the manufacturers through your work can you possibly ask this?
I have not used recycling for synthetic wigs. If you google it, you do get some results. I read up on this "Rebundle" site.. give it a look! rebundle.co/pages/recycle
I keep hearing you have to apply heat to heat defiant fibers to keep it looking it’s best but how do you get the original manufacturer’s look when these look like naturally curly/wavy hair? Curling irons and flat irons used to curl don’t give these types of waves.
I do not apply heat to a HF wig for maintenance. You're right, you cannot get back the original curl/wave if you do. I prefer to use silicon on the ends and use thinning shears to trim out any frayed ends when it happens, to extend the life of mine. XOXO
So funny! The hand tied are roomier for me! I am 22.5 and all BT wigs should be fine! I feel there are not great inconsistencies in caps depending on the collection. The cafe collection is small. The City collection is better. This is going to drive me away from these wigs.

I do not apply heat to a HF wig for maintenance. You're right, you cannot get back the original curl/wave if you do. I prefer to use silicon on the ends and use thinning shears to trim out any frayed ends when it happens, to extend the life of mine. XOXO

So funny! The hand tied are roomier for me! I am 22.5 and all BT wigs should be fine! I feel there are not great inconsistencies in caps depending on the collection. The cafe collection is small. The City collection is better. This is going to drive me away from these wigs.

Lovely color, but roots are too dark
The hairline just doesn’t look natural.
