@@shellg3320 To both of you, I know it's devastating but just know you can come through this with new confidence and a new lease on life! My hair loss came from a misdiagnosed thyroid condition along with hormone issues and despite current medication, it still comes out in giant handfuls. It took me a little while to find my wig "sweet spot" but I now have so much fun with wigs, I'd never go back to messing with my hair and the time it took. I'm in my 70's but very youthful for my age and wigs allow me to have the hair I once did which was beautiful. Taz's reviews, tutorials, tips and helpful hints have been key in guiding me but I also let my own inner "muse" steer me in new directions as I followed my own instincts. Lots of tips I could pass along but I'm a caregiver to my brother and no time for that now. Perhaps later. Best wig wishes to you both as well as any others going thru the early stages of loss and adjustment. There is HUGE HOPE around the corner! By the way, I have heard of lots of other horrible lingering effects of covid along with terrible reactions to the vax but this is first I've heard of hair loss. The whole thing is from the Pit!! GREAT VIDEO but my Dalgona is a hot friz tangled straw mess after only a few months. While a much older Jon Renau looks in better shape (?) the Henry Margo lasted a little longer but also frizzy and tangled too soon
Great video. I love Well Played, but it doesn't come in the only color I like: Iced Granata. I wish RW would do more edgy, icy, and pastel colors. And if Meadow had a mono side part, I would have immediately purchased it based on this review. This was so much fun to watch. They are all beautiful and they wear you well. I like Dalgota 12 in the British Tea. I must find out if it akin to MilkShake or 38 color. It’s might long for age 75 but pulled back clipped or hair twist to pull back might reduce the sense that it’s not realistic. I am a young 75 often told I look 55-60. Flattering but I know how old I am. My family loves short little cuts but longer pixies than what I tend to wear. Now that I’m so gray I shock myself with my medium to dark brown colors. Before gray it was like coffee beans. Could you do a review for the greying mature ladies? What flatters the most and least, what colors we can transition with other than the grays (37, 50, 51, 101). many styles don’t even have any grays other than some platinums. I’ll be watch for some of these issues in your upcoming videos. Thank You for all you do to make us comfortable about wearing wigs and exploring the options.

I have been eyeing off Raquel Welch Well Played but am worried that it might be too big for me. I have Let's Rendezvous and it is perfect on me but then also tried Scene Stealer and it was too big. Any suggestions on brands for my small head. I also love BelleTress but haven't purchased any yet for the same reason. Thanks again. You rock. :)

I have a 22.5" head and Belle Tress just BARELY fits me comfortably with a wig grip, and I cut off the adjusters. Since it's adjustable, I think it would fit anyone with a smaller head. And I love the heat-friendly fibers which are so realistic!

Hi Taz, I just ordered the Dalgona wig in Butter Beer Blonde. I would have preferred the Apple Champagne, but the other was over $100 less. I hope the cap is not too snug. I ordered a similar style from Godivas Secret (Dakota) and loved it but the cap was too small and it kept riding up past my hairline.

I had to laugh, I was laying bets that would be your favorite, lol! There was only one in your list that wasn't on my personal list. I too love Envy's Jordan, but I'm on the fence due to the curl variances, though I know what to do if need be! I'm more interested in getting a couple other colors of Dalgona. I have 3 colors of Joy, though that blonde steals my heart, lol. My first Sweet Talk should be arriving today and my first Julianne in about a week. Those were my Christmas presents! I have to say that Miley is truly a fun one. As far as straight styles, the Gabor Luxury is one I really like, it's hard to sell me on a straight style ( what a far cry from where I started lol!), I think at least 98% of my wigs are curl of some type! I have been on the hunt for the dalgona wig 16, and it seems everybody is out and it’s back ordered right now :( is there something comparable to the style the length (can even be just a tad longer) but similar to the butterbeer or the root beer float colors? Question: I have to have bangs in a wig - and have bought wigs I liked- but due to the cowlick (for lack of a better term) in the front, top of forehead, I can't pull down the front to cut bangs- in some wigs- they just awkwardly stick out. So can fringe type bangs be cut on the Julianne Lite & the Estetica Berlin? It thought it might be helpful to others as well to mention this point on your wig reviews. Thanks.

Hi Taz! You look amazing in each and every style you showcased! My favorite shown on your video, even though I didn’t actually get mine until 2022 was Joy. I believe both of mine are in the same color your have. I’m surprised you didn’t choose to wear the platinum 22/1001/r8. Joy has overtaken Dalgona primarily because of the non HF fibers. Hope you’re 2022 is going well and you’re able to get around in all of the snow. I do not miss those days. 😉
Hey Taz !! I recently purchased EMY from Amore. You mentioned using the hair dryer. I didn’t see on the website that it was heat friendly. What setting of the hair dryer did you use and for how long? 💕
Hello.. no Emy is not heat friendly.. I disclosed these facts video. I didn't want to even say I did it because I am always afraid someone will do it and ruin their wig, but I had to disclose it because it was so obviously different😁😁😁. I used pulses of warm air at the root from about 12" away as I stretched back the front pieces. I used minimal amount of heat until the desired result.
On videos older than a year, you will have to ask me. However, about a year ago I began listing the mannequins and their reviews under the video in the descripton box! XOXO
Any idea why Jon Renau still doesnt do much with heat friendly fiber? I love the Julianne on you ....but hate how shiny they are when not heat friendly.

They are all beautiful and they wear you well. I like Dalgota 12 in the British Tea. I must find out if it akin to MilkShake or 38 color. It’s might long for age 75 but pulled back clipped or hair twist to pull back might reduce the sense that it’s not realistic. I am a young 75 often told I look 55-60. Flattering but I know how old I am. My family loves short little cuts but longer pixies than what I tend to wear. Now that I’m so gray I shock myself with my medium to dark brown colors. Before gray it was like coffee beans. Could you do a review for the greying mature ladies? What flatters the most and least, what colors we can transition with other than the grays (37, 50, 51, 101). many styles don’t even have any grays other than some platinums. I’ll be watch for some of these issues in your upcoming videos. Thank You for all you do to make us comfortable about wearing wigs and exploring the options.

Hi Taz, thankyou for all of the videos that you do, it gives newbies like me so much information. I have a 21" circumference. I have been eyeing off Raquel Welch Well Played but am worried that it might be too big for me. I have Let's Rendezvous and it is perfect on me but then also tried Scene Stealer and it was too big. Any suggestions on brands for my small head. I also love BelleTress but haven't purchased any yet for the same reason. Thanks again. You rock. :)
You might try older styles from Ellen Wille, Rene Of Paris and Noriko.. caps across all brands have been getting larger by the year unfortunately.

I have a 22.5" head and Belle Tress just BARELY fits me comfortably with a wig grip, and I cut off the adjusters. Since it's adjustable, I think it would fit anyone with a smaller head. And I love the heat-friendly fibers which are so realistic!

Hi Taz, I just ordered the Dalgona wig in Butter Beer Blonde. I would have preferred the Apple Champagne, but the other was over $100 less. I hope the cap is not too snug. I ordered a similar style from Godivas Secret (Dakota) and loved it but the cap was too small and it kept riding up past my hairline.

I had to laugh, I was laying bets that would be your favorite, lol! There was only one in your list that wasn't on my personal list. I too love Envy's Jordan, but I'm on the fence due to the curl variances, though I know what to do if need be! I'm more interested in getting a couple other colors of Dalgona. I have 3 colors of Joy, though that blonde steals my heart, lol. My first Sweet Talk should be arriving today and my first Julianne in about a week. Those were my Christmas presents! I have to say that Miley is truly a fun one. As far as straight styles, the Gabor Luxury is one I really like, it's hard to sell me on a straight style ( what a far cry from where I started lol!), I think at least 98% of my wigs are curl of some type! I have been on the hunt for the dalgona wig 16, and it seems everybody is out and it’s back ordered right now :( is there something comparable to the style the length (can even be just a tad longer) but similar to the butterbeer or the root beer float colors? Question: I have to have bangs in a wig - and have bought wigs I liked- but due to the cowlick (for lack of a better term) in the front, top of forehead, I can't pull down the front to cut bangs- in some wigs- they just awkwardly stick out. So can fringe type bangs be cut on the Julianne Lite & the Estetica Berlin? It thought it might be helpful to others as well to mention this point on your wig reviews. Thanks.
Yes, a shorter fringe can be trimmed into those wigs. I recommend having a stylist do it so they can blend the fringe in with the longer sides. XOXO
I’ve been anxiously awaiting this video! I needed your inspiration and you did not disappoint!! I liked the Gabor pick but it sounded like they don’t make a rooted ash blonde you like. I have the same problem with EW. Could list at least 3 styles I’d love to try but none of their blondes work for me. Just thank you for the inspiration!

Hi Taz! You look amazing in each and every style you showcased! My favorite shown on your video, even though I didn’t actually get mine until 2022 was Joy. I believe both of mine are in the same color your have. I’m surprised you didn’t choose to wear the platinum 22/1001/r8. Joy has overtaken Dalgona primarily because of the non HF fibers. Hope you’re 2022 is going well and you’re able to get around in all of the snow. I do not miss those days. 😉

Hey Taz !! I recently purchased EMY from Amore. You mentioned using the hair dryer. I didn’t see on the website that it was heat friendly. What setting of the hair dryer did you use and for how long? 💕
Hello.. no Emy is not heat friendly.. I disclosed these facts video. I didn't want to even say I did it because I am always afraid someone will do it and ruin their wig, but I had to disclose it because it was so obviously different😁😁😁. I used pulses of warm air at the root from about 12" away as I stretched back the front pieces. I used minimal amount of heat until the desired result.
