For everybody hating on how expensive these ingredients are, nobody is forcing you to buy sliced bread. You can bake your own organic bread like people have done for thousands of years. Organic peanut butter is still cheap as hell. And store brand organic jelly has cane sugar but the fruit is organic and it’s also very cheap.
I cut out all seed oils and switched to 90% organic ingredients, and the weight is dropping off my body so fast. I still eat homemade pie and homemade grass fed ice cream. I eat pasta and bread. Yet I’m losing weight. There’s something not right about our food in the US

Just reserve a little corner on your deck or balcony for the dairy cow and turn your bathroom into a chicken coop! All our food problems are solved!

You don’t have to scrutinize the sugar in every single thing you eat. If you want to have a normal pb&j that tastes good, do it. 80% of your calorie intake should be natural foods with enough protein, carbs and fats to keep you healthy. The other 20% you can forget what idiots like Bobby say and enjoy what you eat. Stop making yourself suffer for some unattainable and unnecessary health standard.

Better option almond butter. Peanuts are legumes and they disrupt the gut microbiome. Instead of using jelly, throw some fresh blueberries or blackberries or even strawberries with the nut butter and eliminate any added sugar other than from the natural fruit. Plus they'll get a little fiber.

Rye bread (it's pretty different from regular bread but I really like i and only slightly more expensive than white bread)
