the garchomp thing is pretty funny, if you go all the way around on the top of the crater you'll find a bunch of them flying around. watching them just pause and rotate to fly at you is good for a laugh.
I found this pretty close to the beginning cheesing koraidon up the crater. I did this after noticing all the other weird places items were in the game and figured stuff was up there too.
7:00 Probably not common knowledge but it's all over the dex entries and everything in Bulbapedia that Garchomp can fly. I can't remember any other time in the anime at the moment but in the Pokemon Sun and Moon anime, Garchomp was one of the ride Pokemon that flew across Alola for the Ultra Guardians. It's even confirmed that not only Garchomp can fly as fast as an air jet, but its design is based one.
I think the first time Garchomp was shown flying was in the Diamond and Pearl anime. When Ash and co attended some camp, there was a race where the kids rode on Pokémon and a Garchomp was seen zipping on by while an extra clung on for dear life.
By using zoroark happy hour first turn, while holding an amulet coin, and then switching to gholdengo and finishing the mon with make it rain, I got 71K. On the last battle I got 144K, and then I sold the items for 940K. Pretty darn good.
There are tons of hidden caves around the region that spawn one kind of pokemon (i.e. sentret line, hoothoot line, etc). Would be cool for a comprehensive map of all those
the sentret cave also spawns ekans in daytime plenty of geodude caves i had 3 shiny swinub on my screen (took ~6hours) at the same time from the sit-together
Happy Hour being specific to Hisui Zoroark sounds about right for this gen. I brought in an old Happy Hour Snorlax from a previous gen event and after the move wipe I wasn't able to find Happy Hour on the list of available moves in Home or Violet. Oddly, Putting it back into sword gave it Happy Hour again.
That's how it works now, unless you're transferring across versions of the same game (Like Scarlet to Violet) the game will store the move set of the Pokémon in the original game and make a new one in the game you transfer it to, making it have different move sets in different games.
@@Awoken_YKW_Fan9001I'm incredibly annoyed by this, as I have special Dream World Gengar from Black 2 that no longer has its special move (Sludge Wave). At the very least, have some sort of special "event tutor" to bring these moves back!

If you talk to the guy at the bottom of kitakami hall, he tells you where they are and he is the final boss of them... gives you some good stuff for beating them
I haven't done it yet but I've heard that if you beat the ogre clan which is like multiple dudes that wield powerful pokemon teams that are type specific scattered around kitikami you can get an award for doing it. A video on that might be useful.
I don't remember everything you can get for that quest, but I know you get an ability patch for defeating the final boss. He also gives you one or two ability capsules.
Great video, I didn't actually know about this sidequest so it really helped. Could you maybe make a video showing off the locations of all the kitakami ogre clan members? I already have them but there's currently a glitch/bug that prevents you from getting the rewards from beating all of them, basically if you fight one of them and then go to the guy who gives you the rewards for beating them he doesn't give it to you, just says that there are the same amount of members left to beat, and if you go back to the guy you just defeated you can fight him again like the battle didn't count. Maybe if the glitch gets enough exposure the devs will actually do something about it

Dont know how much of a video you could make on it, but i noticed that specific areas of Kitakami have differnt types of items in their sparkle spots. For instance, the paradise barrens have a pretty large nuumber of rare bones (and rarely even comet shards), which can be useful for farming money. Timeless woods has a lot of berries and Tiny/Big mushrooms. Mossfell Confluence and wistful feilds also have berries, but also have healing items like energy roots. I forget where I tripped over a reference to the Amulet Coin and moves like Happy Hour no longer stacking, but that's what I get for being a lowly "casual"...
Garchomp is a land shark, their evolutionary line lives underground near geothermal vents, is both a carnivore and lithovore, and can fly at Mach 1 which if you didn't know is 761 miles per hour ( or 343 meters per second if you use Metric). This is why Garchomp is my favorite pokemon, nothing outside the legendaries compares to it's levels of ridiculous.
You should give the anime a try. In sun and moon garchomp flies around all the time. They form a group of 6 called the ultra guardians to catch all the ultra beast, and each get a flying pokemon. Ash flies on a garchomp. It's so awesome
I would really doubt that they are Namona's parents. They tend to make family members look a like. With the same hair colors and eye colors. If they were her parents I would think they would have her golden eyes and black hair, If not black with the green streak, O'Nare has maybe golden eye though it's hard to say with her glasses but they look more brown or red. Just look at Perrin. She has the same blue/light blue/white hair and brownish eyes as Adaman.
Hey Austin, funny story. On my way to the glaseado mountain location I ran into a ralts party led by a full odds shiny gardevoir which I caught in a dive ball.
The fact that they're trying to sell the point of these two being "out of touch" and then they're standing right next to a flying Garchomp unfazed is kind of the funniest part of the bit, regardless of intention.

Can you show us all the new clothes added with the Teal Pass?
I forget where I tripped over a reference to the Amulet Coin and moves like Happy Hour no longer stacking, but that's what I get for being a lowly "casual"...
Garchomp is a land shark, their evolutionary line lives underground near geothermal vents, is both a carnivore and lithovore, and can fly at Mach 1 which if you didn't know is 761 miles per hour ( or 343 meters per second if you use Metric). This is why Garchomp is my favorite pokemon, nothing outside the legendaries compares to it's levels of ridiculous.
"Even though they are standing htere barefoot, which is kinda weird" every home schooler be like; "and i took that personally"
You might have missed a shiny Makuhta when doing that last billy o' nare quest 6:51
7:00 - there's also a Magnezone circling around there
6:29 Mr John I found the snorunt but no Billionaire. Can you join my game and show me exactly where to go 😂 good video buddy
Garchomp and magnezone spawn on top of the crater. Saw this when I unlocked the ability to climb when the game came out.
You should give the anime a try. In sun and moon garchomp flies around all the time. They form a group of 6 called the ultra guardians to catch all the ultra beast, and each get a flying pokemon. Ash flies on a garchomp. It's so awesome
I know this is still like week one of the new DLC, but please man take a nap
I definitely remember that one of garchomp's pokedex entries mentioning that it can fly.
I never realised this was a thing because when I got to the NPC I thought she was talking about me 😭 Billy’s my name
Be cool if went over the new raids that give herba mystica . Seems 5 stars are giving them now?
Ha ha! This time I don't need your tutorial! I've already done the quest! Btw thanks for your amazing work!
Lol, I encountered flying Garchomp a few months ago and had the same reaction. "Garchomp can FLY?!"
Very good info thank you austin
Austin brother I think you read the dialogue from Grandma too fast, the color of the junbei is actually same with the siblings, deep blue for Carmine and white gray for Kieran. And jinbei, read as jin-bay. Hopes this clear some fog! And yes if you check Garchomp pokedex photo it is actually flying in the sky too! :D good video always!
This and the oger clan fight for the free ability patch was a fun quest line !
