47 years in one job is indeed a long time, especially these days - I only moved to the U.K. in 2002 and I’m 52 now, I only went home to Ireland from Manchester last year for my birthday
This is fascinating to me as an Irishman in Manchester, who was last on the Tube on 25th June 2002 - I’ve seen other films of the Tube and I’ve become aware that fellow Irish people have worked on the Tube, including as Drivers 🇮🇪☘️🇬🇧❤️
