Possibly the best I’ve seen from anyone. Think the materials used to build it underneath actually go some way to adding to the realism, even though you can’t see them. It just feels more natural and as for the detail, it’s so well done. Very inspiring even though I don’t have the space to have a model railway, if I did I’d definitely be using the techniques used in this vid as opposed to other ways that I’ve seen that admittedly do the same job in different ways but there’s just something about this that chimes with me.

Your channel popped up as a recommendation, I have to say that of all the railway modelers I watch here on YT, in my humble opinion your layout and scenic detailing is the best I've seen. I mean the grass looks exactly like 'real' grass and the patches of paint on the concrete where graffiti has been painted over - as well as everything else - superb.

I work on the railway and even just looking at the verges and the foliage, you can just see the tuffs of what look like Japanese Knotweed, Balsam etc. It's just perfect. Even the palisade fencing as per NR standards. Ha. Its a work of art this mate.. I'm wanting to start my own model railway and your videos are so amazing. So thank you.

I've seen a fair share of similar videos but have to say this one was exeptional. No doubt it is a work of an artist yet the simplicity in it is inspirational. I love the contour layeing method. I have work with polystyrene (very messy, not easy to glue) and cork ( flakes / chips ) away too easily. The layering of grass is interesting but I have one questions?: Is the Grass Layering spray -- glue spray?
