Also don't forget to vac the permanent way because it's amazing where that static grass gets Gregg, up into the mechanisms of model locos as more than one repairer could attest to. Static grass and model loco mechanisms don't make good friends.
Thank you ! Yes , I vacuum during to collect the spare grass to use again, and then the next day I go over the area to pick up any left behind. Layouts get very dusty and it's amazing how much crap ends up on the track! Cheers Gregg.

Many thanks for this useful video. I have the same applicator and I hav also never dealt with static grass before, so I will try your techniques as well. But firstly on a piece of cardboard.
My pleasure Peter! I've since got their smaller applicator as well , which is great for small areas! I recently saw a tip where you buy a cheap tea strainer , and cut out the small mesh and put it over the coarse mesh for smaller grass. Cheers Gregg.
Bet that curled Lord Stans Moustaches!!!! A couple of tricks I have learnt, you may find you don’t need to have the ground wire in the glue just next to it touching the ground. Using a pencil or stick ruffle the grass up a bit helps make it look more natural. Also I have used very small amounts of flower coloured flock eg small pinch between your fingers and just rub your finger and thumb together letting it trickle down onto the grass. You can try brushing the tops of the grass in key small locations with glue (like dry brushing) before you sprinkle it with the coloured flock or spray over the area after you have applied the flock both ways work. Neil
LOL, yes Neil , he is thinking of ways to use it in ways it is not intended to be! Some good tips there and I will give them a try as I progress! The more I use it the more things I will find I'm sure!. Thanks for watching. Cheers Gregg.
