I mean, scientifically speaking, Amanda’s hair ripping off would be the least of her concerns. It’s far more likely that Amanda’s neck would be ruptured from the whiplash that a hammer throw would cause. But this is Roald Dahl’s universe. You are demanded to suspend your disbelief to cartoonish borderline loony tunes levels.
