Another well put together video well done MFM video quality looked good but sound was as bad as my 3 year old £45.00 camera

I just bought and fitted a Vysto F9 system with screen. It uses the same Sony sensors which make night time footage very clear and works much the same as this connecting to phone to watch and download video, although the app is very basic compared to Viofos. The addition of a drive to download footage for pc is a very nice touch with this Viofo as I have to keep removing the sd card or take a laptop down to the garage and connect direct to the unit (or dissconnect all them cables to use the unit as an external drive!)😆
In hindsight I probably shouldnt of bothered with the screen version and saved a few quid but there are 1 or 2 advantages of having it such as full rear view and that Sony sensor lighting up the dark lanes at night :)
    Edit:
I should probably add that although the Sony Starlight sensors do make night time footage much more viewable and lighter, it also makes viewing of number plates near on impossible due to the glare from the vehicals lights!

The crappy part is, once installed it cant be removed. And these days people will just rip it off

Sound is horrendous. Video quality is OK, but when pausing video, you can not read plates when the bike is moving. You also didnt test at night, where it's even harder to get a good picture. They also clim you can overlay your trip onto a map , did this work?

Crikey! How many things could they fit in that box?! Seemed never ending. Like some sort of magic trick. 😂

I have their dual camera for cars in my truck and it’s a really good device for the money. I’ve used footage in some of my videos. I don’t know if this compares to the K5 but if it’s as good as the one for cars, it should be ok.

Viofo cams are good quality and in my experience with car dashcams reliable and durable with excellent imaging day+night. Worth the money imo... I'm tempted.
I'm assuming this is a capacitor based system.
Do you think it's possible to minimise the wind noise with a stick on wind suppressor?

A wind muff may help as it is only a tiny mic hole.

No a very good review unless you show how well it actually sees a number plate or how well it works at night.

I prefer the 170 FOV. My older Drift Helmet Camera's had that and you don't feel queasy when you watch the footage like the lesser FOV camera's do. Been using VIOFO Dash Cam's for years. In the latest new car we installed the VIOFO A139 Pro 2 Channel works great...

Look interesting …Any chance of testing it at nighttime in the dark and doing some freeze frames so we can see the image quality ..ie number plates etc ?

That "unit" looks huge! I have a dual Viofo camera in my car, and the "master" camera (which would be _the unit_ and one of those two cams) is about half the size of your "unit". Don't see why it should be so big.

I’m getting this. Your cam is way more reliable than using a sena camera. At least I don’t have to have a dead battery in 2 hours.

OK, friend, I have a doubt. On unboxing, yooou read the camarea was 1920x1080, but on setting it shows 1080p. Whats the real resolution ? And also, have you tested to recognize the license plates on recorded videos ??

I did watch your video just out of interest but and it's a BIG but it's very bad manners to piggy back another person's video not the best way to get more followers so it's a thumbs down from me
