As far as I know, there is no live mix in the KEXP youtube videos (live mix only when the live broadcast is on the radio). Bands get the audio tracks and work on mix and mastering themselves, then send them back. I know from a band who have been here before.

I can’t stand musicians who just like to hold a guitar and strum away, pretending they’re actually contributing to the melody, while it’s the piano, the other guitarist, bass and drummer. She’s pointless with her air guitar.
In contrast, you compulsively commenting away with hot air is such a valuable contribution, so creative and skilful
Apologies but I think that's a mindblowingly silly comment on many levels. If you write the song, sing the sing, and play rhythm guitar to underscore the musical arrangement, I'd say that's contributing to the melody.
Someone's never grasped the concept of playing/utilising rhythm guitar...
Get some better headphones, mate. Sounds good from where I am. Also, rhythm guitar is an accompaniment to the melody, not the driver.
