Really? She's given so much and you've obviously enjoy her tremendous talent. You find yourself so perfect that you could be disrespectful? A bag lady? Shame on you. Ms. Clark, inside and out, you are a beautiful woman and your art has made the world a better place. Thank you.
Petula is currently touring Australia and saw her in Brisbane ....she will be 78 on November 15th ! What a fantastic show and her voice is still wonderful !... 1st class act !! They don't make em like that anymore !!
la voce fantastica, la classe fantastica, da sempre ho sognato di conoscerla ma... sarà il mio sogno... petula è stata, è , e sarà per sempre la più grande cantante di tutti i tempi, grazie petula clark.
Always will be and still is a beautiful woman with a heavenly voice. She'll always be my favorite female singer that brings back so many great memories of my childhood and our household.
She maybe 62 I dont give a flip! Becaus when miss clark sing it brings back all the memories! Thank you petulia clark for all lovely songs you will always be No1 tks for this wonderful video!
Is it my imagination or when we were kids and listening to these songs over our crackly transistor radio, that the people recording these gems were having as much fun singing them as we were having listening to them? I bet they were.
Downtown was such a hit when I grew up. I just love Petula Clark. I was happy to hear she is still performing. I wish she would come back to America to perform. We would love to see her. Keep up the great performances, Petula.
By my calculation she was about sixty two when she did this--a phenomenal voice for that age--and you can imagine how strong her voice must have been at thirty. I'll bet she could really vibrate the walls.
Absolutely amazing. I'm old enough (54) to remember when these songs were first released and, damn, Ms. Clark perform them better today than she did back then. There's more nuance; she takes what she once did to a new level. Thank you for the gift of your talent.
She's is 76, I saw her in early 2009 at the Castro Theater in San Francisco. She performed 25 songs (two sets) and could not have sounded better. Although she hates the term, Pet Clark is a 60s icon who can still hit the notes as she nears 77 November 15th!
I love every song and age seems to be nothing to the voice of Petula Clarl ac truly astounding British talent. Wave The Union Flag she's fabulous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow Pet! Time has been pretty good to you. The voice still sounds crisp and nice to see Mr Hatch who was responsible in great part for PC's success. Love the "locks"..thank you m1ckeyjoe...
Can you imagine Cheryl Cole or Leona Lewis being able to to do this at 60 plus? Forget it, I grew up listening to Diana Ross, Dione Warwick,. Dusty Springfield, ,Judith Durham, Tammi Terrell and Aretha Franklyn. Ok, so Im old (47), where is the next Petula Clark?
I like Petula because not only does she sing beautifully but also she is a lady, not like the so-called divas of today who get attention in the wrong ways and are very bad role models for their young fans. I hope to see more ladies in the pop musical scene and no more ladettes. Feel really sick of seeing them in the headlines everyday.
Her first public performance was made in the Masonic lodge in Rhymney - South Wales (UK) She used to live near the Lord Nelson Pub in Pontlottyn - as a evacuee during the war
What year was this, she still looks great! Still sings great too! Wonder if Mr. Hatch is a cousin of mine? No wonder I love her so much! Long live Petula, thanks for the memories!
Läst nånstans att du gett ut nåt nytt. Jag är överväldigad och glad, har inte lyssnat eller förstått, men det kommer säkert till mej också. Du är värdig min beundran. Me like you.
Det är härligt när människor som jag försöker förstå visar att jag inte har alldeles fel. Härliga positiva kvinna , jag har upptäckt dej och tycker om dej.
@scroggihn Speaking as an American "Army Brat" living in Germany in the 60's, I would broaden that to "English speaking people." We all love her. Still, I have to yield that the English have the privilege of "first claim." :-)
Wow, she still can hit all the notes, that's impressive... compare to Petula's contemporary, Dionne Warwick (who was recording hits on this side of the Atlantic at around the same time Petula was doing so in the UK)...she's still talented, but she has to sing many of her songs in a different key now in order, and stll she doesn't even attempt to hit some of the high notes.
maybe we dont appreciate great singers like petula clark till there gone or choose to live in other countrys and dont aknowledge the country of their birth
Yeah, Petula looked good. I hope this is still true. She's now 75 and will turn 76 in November, God willing. Stevie Nicks did a lot of coke back in the day, which is one of the reasons why it sounds as if she's 'aged'.
Still blows me away.... She sounds so good with just Tony Hatch on the piano. How many of today's artist could do this???????? er... do this well????
Really? She's given so much and you've obviously enjoy her tremendous talent. You find yourself so perfect that you could be disrespectful? A bag lady? Shame on you. Ms. Clark, inside and out, you are a beautiful woman and your art has made the world a better place. Thank you.
What a great voice!
Most singer in her age can only sing playback.
But she is as good as she was in the 60s...
And Downtown... even then ever! WOW!
Love her since I was 10 yrs old. Have a crush on her. Classy Lady🎶🎶♥️
Petula is currently touring Australia and saw her in Brisbane ....she will be 78 on November 15th ! What a fantastic show and her voice is still wonderful !... 1st class act !! They don't make em like that anymore !!
This lady is pure class and right up there with the late Dusty as Britain's best female singer.
Everything about Pet is absolutley lovely. Her classic songs bring back many happy memories.
love Petula's voice it's so beautiful better than alot of music today thats for real
She ranks as 1 of my favourite female singers of all time.
Older and more refined here!!! She has aged so gracefully. Beautiful lady, Beautiful voice as always. A living legend. God bless you petula:):):):)
la voce fantastica, la classe fantastica, da sempre ho sognato di conoscerla ma...
sarà il mio sogno... petula è stata, è , e sarà per sempre la più grande cantante di tutti i tempi, grazie petula clark.
my favorite song she does is DOWNTOWN! GREAT SONG! LOVE THIS WOMAN!
Always will be and still is a beautiful woman with a heavenly voice. She'll always be my favorite female singer that brings back so many great memories of my childhood and our household.
Pet Clark appeared in San Francisco in April and was great in singing 24 songs. She is a treasure!
She maybe 62 I dont give a flip! Becaus when miss clark sing it brings back all the memories! Thank you petulia clark for all lovely songs you will always be No1 tks for this wonderful video!
Admittedly one of the best, an astounding international talent.
Is it my imagination or when we were kids and listening to these songs over our crackly transistor radio, that the people recording these gems were having as much fun singing them as we were having listening to them? I bet they were.

Pet is amazing -- beloved by audiences since the 1940s. She must be the most enduring vocal artist of our time.
Absolutely amazing. I'm old enough (54) to remember when these songs were first released and, damn, Ms. Clark perform them better today than she did back then. There's more nuance; she takes what she once did to a new level. Thank you for the gift of your talent.
This is the type of Ballards Frank Sinatra like to sing, a story in song. With Petula it's the bright lights of down Town, and romance.
She's is 76, I saw her in early 2009 at the Castro Theater in San Francisco. She performed 25 songs (two sets) and could not have sounded better. Although she hates the term, Pet Clark is a 60s icon who can still hit the notes as she nears 77 November 15th!
A coming together of two massive talents, fantastic!
she's one of the greatest singers ever! if you've inherited a fraction of her talent then you're a very lucky boy ;-)
WOW.... the woman is 76!!!! Okay she was ONLY 68 when this was filmed. I`m still very impressed!
These two exceptional musicians made musical magic.
Even all these years later, she is still amazing.
Petula Clark has the best voice of our times.
An amazing talent that will last through the decades.
Ms. Petula Clark is just fantastic! Saw her perform in Holland in December last year. Absolutely loved it!!!
What a great live performance!! and the first time both performed together on tlevision. Tony Hatch wrote all these songs!
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is talent.
A true songbird, for quite a few decades!
Fantastic! Absolute quality. Could you imagine Sheryl Cole or any other of todays "stars" doing this?

What beautiful memories to sit here and listen to her sing, as though it was yesterday.
Petula ALWAYS seems to enjoy signing in public, her face always shows it.
She is definitely one of the best. Such a great talent!

Wow Pet! Time has been pretty good to you. The voice still sounds crisp and nice to see Mr Hatch who was responsible in great part for PC's success. Love the "locks"..thank you m1ckeyjoe...
Brilliant! It gets better every time I watch it, thanks for posting. She is a legend.
Petula you are the best!
Petula in fine form here. Her and Tony Hatch have more talent in their little finger than most of todays "stars".
If this was actually taped in August 2007 (that's when it was uploaded here) - that means she was 74 years old! OMG! She looks awesome!
Thsnk you. This medley is a treasure. Petula is a treasure
Pet with Tony = Wow! Thanks for posting this!
After 1 min 28 secs my heart started to break so sweetly. If only i could play like that with her on my shoulder....
Her voice rings so beautifully & melodiously in this simple two-piece set-up. Thank you for the clip.

This is a fantastic performance. It's up there with Sammy Davis Jnr - Mr Bo Jangles.
Ok, so Im old (47), where is the next Petula Clark?
all at once Hits sure hits me!
Saw her in Toronto about 18 months ago, she was 70 years old and never missed
a beat great show , but in this video she seems to be struggling.

Great stuff. Incidentally, has anyone else noticed a resemblance between Petula and Lyn Paul?
@scroggihn Speaking as an American "Army Brat" living in Germany in the 60's, I would broaden that to "English speaking people." We all love her. Still, I have to yield that the English have the privilege of "first claim." :-)
You are my woman to remember ,I glad to be with you.
