LOL I remember when use to play this with my dad all the time, the funniest thing was when i was Fo and i used his ultimate attack but in the process when he starts spinning and shooting i fell of the edge... Me and my dads reaction.......... PFFFAHAHAHAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH LOL ! This games brings back great PS1 memories
I actually LOLed on Ellis's moves...I used to be unbeatable using her back in the day, and I hadn't heard her "I never give up" for probably 20 years.

Sophia was my weapon of choice. I found her attacks easy to manage (and her desperation move is very easy to execute.) On top of that, her close-up attack is her dropping her whip and slapping then kicking her opponent.

If I remember correctly, difference between super and ultimate move was difference between pressing the square or triangle after pressing the correct sequence of arrows.

Fo Fai had eaten a lot of Chinese food for that desperation fart move😂😂😂😂. Funny yet powerful, he's like Street fighter version of Vega with the mask and claw and Freddy Krueger in one. Duke's and Sofia's theme is the best

Notice that in Eiji's Secret Move demo that he fires a fireball as a buffer move before being able to input the commands. You also have to allow a buffer move - such as jumping or by doing a fireball before you can input it. I know it's stupid and a dead giveaway...but that's how it works.~

Subscribed! This was one of the very first games I EVER played. I only ever got to Gaia as a kid but never seen Sho or the super/ultimate moves. (Only once in a blue moon id see the opponent do one in a fight) Cheers!
a shame Sho was the best character with a 2 fireball rush and all his moves are unstaggerable while also being the fastest character for barrel rolls if i remember correct.
Damn, most of these i've never even seen. Just got this game recently for nostalgia and have been looking to get more into it, this is def motivation.

@kernway yeah some of the super moves are quite tricky to pull off and dont really do much damage. Kayin's isnt really a great one to use it just looks fancy.
@TheY2T Actually in this case the word in montage.
@svulle its up + down + up + down + forward + back + forward + back + triangle and circle. You should execute this combo pretty fast. Should take you no more than 1 - 2 secs to execute this.

Awesome video! I LOVE this game. A while ago I accidentally discovered some new specials I've never seen before (like Ellis' bow toss) and now I see it's actually online. I can get a few of these specials and taunts to work, but you should totally make a video with all of the things that are practically unseen by most players. I still can't get Fo's laugh taunt to work! Haha!
