Glad I'm not the only one that had a hell of a time installing this. That silicone hose angle just isn't perfect. The only way I could keep the box on all the grommets and the hose connected was to have it not perfectly flush on the Inlet side. Definitely strange but it works haha
Just started my Audi journey. Bought a low-mile '13 RS5 as my new daily, ECS x-pipe already delivered. Installing it this weekend. I'm in the SE MI area.
Traded my 18’ wrx for an 18’ S5 sportback prestige. Wow, should have gotten an Audi along time ago. Been enjoying following your builds and can’t wait to get my car to 034 motorsports (2hrs away) and have them do the the first power package 😁
Guys! The housing does fit in the grommets, it’s just a little tricky to align the silicone sleeve and even then it wasn’t perfect for me but all 3 nubs should go in.
If you dont tune the car you get maybe 1 to 2 horsepower from the intake. Stock settings take in the same amount of air, regardless of what intake you have, may sounds a bit louder.

Awesome! Congrats, that's a great car

Thanks a lot! Yeah, once you daily one, there’s no going back👌🏼

Oops, hahah may have to retry at one point!!
Just pull the grommets out and put them on the intake box first and then align to press it down. It 100% fits.

Yep, sounds about right. We tuned the car right before the intake install
just rotate that cone shaped part fownwards i think a few centimeters left and loosen airbox while adjusting. why not fix it tight?!
My P34 doesn't fit correctly either, 034 doesn't care too much. Good software but the hardware/customer support is not great at times.
Why haven’t you replaced that tiny intercooler? I would of done all that at the same time, actually I did 😂
Did shortly after! The intake install was one of the first mods we did to this car. It’s since had quite a lot more
I live in the Metro Detroit Area and just got my 2014 Audi s5. Do you know any reputable shops you would recommend to get some work done?
Congrats! VAST Performance in Ferndale has done work on a lot of my friends cars. Heard good things!
VAST and/or Boost Controlled Performance (BCP)
You didn't oil it??
It looks like a stock box with a hole in it
Is it required to do a tune before installing this intake?
Nope!
Hi
Can i install this with any stage1 tune ??
Yep!
Hi. I am Chris of Coverado, a brand store that sells car seat covers. We want to work with you. Are you interested? Thank you!
