I have one thing to say....why you are not talking to a doctor from west bengal....we know it better...outside people r generalising it as safety issue and that is obviously an issue...but here the matter is more grave..if you want to get proper insight you should interview someone from the place of occurrence

Mamata Bannerjee hired 20 lawyers. Among them, one is been payed 15 Lacs per hearing, and when talking about the victim, she said, the victim wont return, but we can help the family by providing them an amount of 10 lacs. Such sick mentality, and ofc she is trying to hide a lot of things.

Hey Ranveer, thanks bro for raising voice on this topic. ♥️
Being a MD Doctor myself I can completely correlate what she had gone through to clear her NEET and NEET PG exams and then worked in such unhygienic conditions for 36 hours.
She had spent half of her life in studying and rest in saving lives, but in the end what she got as a result?? Brutally raped and murdered in her own department while on duty in a reputed government hospital !!
Seriously it’s so shameful to see where our country is going. How could we think of living a healthy spiritual life in such an unsafe environment, if these dreadful cases come across everyday ?? I’m really shocked and can’t able to understand that even if the rapist is hanged till death (who himself is openly asking for it from cops just after committing such heinous crime) could it give her soul complete justice after all those sufferings !! It’s so painful to watch ‘how a lady doctor was made to realise that she was nothing more than a girl’. 🥹
Our country got independence but not our women. 🇮🇳👩🏻‍⚕️

Not country as a whole in this regard. I mean Women's safety is a general issue in India.
But Kolkata's case is specific and goes beyond that. This is even different nature(though same in intensity) from Delhi 2012 case as first time the State hired lawyers to protect itself not justice for victim's.
Talks should be more of the post-incidents that happened - the coverup attempts through political backing which was even alleged by the victim's parents, RG Kar students, crematorium officer(that the body was cremated in a hurry by police & TMC MLA) , the police rejected this as suicide even after seeing someone bleeding from eye. Then Principal (closer to party) renovates beside ground zero to destroy evidences (police didn't seal), due to same political connections with TMC party gets transferred to another hospital. Mobs organisedly attacks hospital(not possible without political backup, never it happened before in previous rapes) and Police became 🤡 but became mosnter👹 infront of peaceful Protestors. Even victims family was denied body in hurry. Now allegations of illegal organ trafficking making it clear against the Principal; it was more of a murder over rape(also said by SC). The State backup is itself indicating the case specifically is political not just social(as in Rest of India) .

My reason of not working in a goverment setup were mainly two, unhygienic working conditions and i would never let my family be treated in such a setup. Whose loss it is then?, it is general public's loss, since i would be able to see much more patients in a goverment setup and give my expertise. It is the general public who should be raising there voice for better conditions for doctors and patients, for there own good. This should not be just doctors movement.

Dear, rate (per capita) of getting raped in USA is 10 times more than that in India even if you account for the error and unreported case it is quite high in the USA. Please also check the statistics in other countries in the west.
In Sweden approximately 1 in 2 women have faced sexual violence in their life (more than just ogling and stuff, violent kind stuff).
So if you are thinking that the west is safer , it is quite likely that you will face sexual violence there.
I will suggest you to only use your brain instead of getting influenced by emotions.(besides, conditions are deteriorating further in some country)
Also I don't get why you lost your patriotism due to one case.
At least in India people are fighting and striving to be better( unlike the west )! And we will BE better as we become rich and people standards and need for answerable law enforcement increases.

    • @optimism4168

@@Shva927 hey. I am not getting emotional over one case. In fact this is not the reason for me moving out of this country. Being of medical background I am not getting the desirable result here. I have seen corruption very closely. I aspired for a government job, but my counterparts who had less than one third of my marks got it but I didn't. That's because of the reservation. Now people will say that these are excuses and general category people also exell. But those are a bunch of brilliant people. What about the ones who are not so brilliant? I agree that India will rise, but it needs to first sort out its internal and basic issues.
This guy mentioned the plight of medical studies. Even in our 30s , we don't feel settled. This is a real problem. And this is the cause of brain drain especially of doctors and dentists.

    • @Shva927
      @Shva927 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

@@optimism4168 yes u r spot on, on the competition and reservation and medical field but every country goes through this stage of solving severe problem of their society, the west went through this 2 generations ago, Japan and korea a generation ago, china is almost there and india is going through right now and it's we the people who will have to build a better society as people in developed nations have.
It's done by striving and not shunning the patriotism for the state of making one 'bold' comment.
I am massively and massively positive about india and things will get better than what it is in the west or at least we will strive or strive in the correct direction.

I being a part of the profession understand every brink of this conversation. It wasn't very difficult for me to visualise what was spoken on this podcast. The residents are tortured irrespective of govt or pvt institutions in the name of getting detained and paying hefty fees, and what are they asked for, to work tirelessly, forget their personal lives. Females are Targeted in the name of safety and restrictions are put on them. Their is so much to this that I can write Idk for how long. But a sincere thank you for atleast acknowledging.

Thanks Ranveer 🙏🙏I really wanted this type of content on medical professionals otherwise Indian films has depicted very negatively about medical professionals and also Abhijeet Kaji has narrated very nicely about present medical scenario.....
We should accept that everyone is working hard to earn money for themselves and also for their family and at the same time giving service to the society; be he/she is a medical professional, or a cab driver, etc..etc..thing is that we should respect each other as a human being and protect each other from wrong doers....
But almost every Indians are corrupt minded. On top of that our Supreme court acts like Dhritarashtra. Justice is very long way to go......
You know there are many cases where the relatives takes their patients to the hospital when he/she is about to die or cannot be done anything to make better; and if he/she dies the relatives will call their whole neighbourhood to attack the attending medical personnels and beat them up. Currently this is the life of a medical professional in India. What a shame.

Irrespective of he himself suffering through some severe health issues since couple of months , he was still working with same intensity and care for all his patients
All I could say is : Thank You to every single Doctor right from the Gynaecologist who showed me the world for the first time (moment of my birth) , to every other Doctor till today , who work whole-heartedly and has saved me and millions of other lives to live disease-free and healthy life

Public pay washrooms are cleaner than the conditions the doctors use. That day i was so upset by the healthcare system. She said this is nothing and there is so much more jokingly she was consoling me in return because i got frustrated. the doctors, nurses and health professionals are really the most patient and mindful ppl i have come across. Mamta herself is the PROBLEM in Kolkata. I was born and brought up in what was once a nice town. CPM rule of 30 years ruined it and also the state of WB. Then very brave and bold lady Mamta Bannerji fought a brutal battle and defeated the communist party. But the power she gained from that incredible victory drove her insane and evil. She rules with a large battalion of 'gundas' who are drunk with their power. She is in charge of and manages everything like a control freak to stay in power. I have known the innermost circle people of her party. We were a fan of her and grateful for ousting the wicked CPM but now she is the villain and she must go... along with her goons so Kolkata can breathe again. 😢

The way this incident has shaken me that i am stressed out even watching any discussion, yet i am doing and going to protests knowing how important it is for us to bring the change, but knowing that the protectors are the shelters for the criminals, we still need to appeal justice from them, is the most frustrating factor, and this is what we need to fix first
We cannot imagine that kind of services are doctors give. We can still call the doctor's on their mobiles and consult in need. You cannot imagine this abroad. You just can't reach out to them after the designated minutes. Slowly this is getting stopped in India, and which doctors being scared, the support could be stopped at a faster rate. We must support the services of our doctors. At are the same time we should also stop malpractices in medical profession, including pharma industry
