Like you, I’m a little disappointed by this new movement’s accuracy…isn’t it unofficially supposed to surpass COSC levels of accuracy and be regulated in-house? +8/9 secs is worse than COSC. That’s around what my Seiko Alpinist Ginza’s accuracy is.

Love seiko just a shame a $100 watch looks exactly like a $60,000 watch I wish they would bring out some different designs to show the difference visually no hate just seems a bit Lazy
