ABC Railway 1501 SW1500 switcher works industries in the snow

Akron Barberton Cluster Railway is a subsidiary of the W&LE. Here we follow 1501 around Barberton Ohio as they work the PPG plant from the south and then from the north. Later they run lite engine on the former Erie Lackawanna to Rittman to pull one car from Morton Salt and return to Barberton.

1501 was the first that I ever stepped in a cab and I still have the photos of them when they were just painted to the black and orange from the old Akron Barberton Belt.

Hey you're in my hometown I've grown up watching 1501 and 1502 sense 1981 or 1982 I don't remember which year they were brought here they replace the old precision gp-9's
