Long Layover in GUAM! | Travel Vlog (not an educational video about CHamoru Cultural food*)

Soooooooo Guam is not just another U.S. Territory, it has a deep history (involving many takeovers from various countries). However, this video is not an educational video about the situation between Guam and the US or about local people's culture (the most local it gets is finding Chicken Kelaguen on an Applebees menu and trying denanche and fina'denne'). There are many videos out there that explain the awful things the US did to Guam, but this is not one of them. In this vlog of stupidity - two tired people walk around a road or two in Guam. It involves basic food from McDonalds, walking around the NICEST Kmart we've ever seen, and Brianna trying to find the most 'local' food at a chain restaurant.
On a more serious note:
Guam has a lot more history than just being a part of the States. The CHamoru people are the largest ethnic group on the island and though English is the primary language, they have their own CHamoru language. They also have a lot of delicious food and *since we will have another long layover in Guam soon (if everything goes according to plan) - Brianna will make Curt go to a local restaurant next time! Please give suggestions! We encourage people to learn more about Guam.

About Us
We met in college and started a five year journey to graduate, get jobs, pay off student loans and save money to travel. After getting married we bought a one way ticket to Greece in July of 2021 and have been traveling around the Globe since. Living abroad definitely brings some unique experiences.
These laidback TH-cam videos will be our way of keeping in touch with family and friends as we explore different countries, try new and strange foods (and of course pizza), and see how many times we can avoid airplane fares. These homevideos will be the only souvenir we end up with at the end (only because nothing else will fit in our bags).
