WE GET CHAMORU BBQ ON LAYOVER IN GUAM AND IT WAS DELICIOUS | Micronesia to South Korea Travel Vlog

This is part one of our trek from the Federated States of Micronesia to South Korea via United's Island hopper (again) and JejuAir (again).
Flying from Pohnpei, Micronesia to Busan, South Korea had one perk - FINALLY getting some CHamoru BBQ in Guam. Last time we were teased with Kelaguen chicken and red rice from Applebee's and this time - we got a recommendation from the nicest customs officer we've ever met (except you dad!) for a restaurant called Meskla Chamoru Fusion Bistro. We tried to taxi but at the rate of taxi there and then back - it ended up being cheaper (not cheap - cheaper) to get it delivered by Good to Go We Deliver.
Dear goodness was the BBQ delicious and filling.

We originally thought it was spelled 'Chamorro' but upon searching google we found out it's spelled 'CHamoru' - "In 2018, the Commission on the CHamoru Language and the Teaching of the History and Culture of the Indigenous People of Guam announced CHamoru as the preferred standardized spelling of the language and people, as opposed to the conventional spelling Chamorro."

About Us
We met in college and started a five year journey to graduate, get jobs, pay off student loans and save money to travel. After getting married we bought a one way ticket to Greece in July of 2021 and have been traveling around the Globe since. Living abroad definitely brings some unique experiences.
These laidback TH-cam videos will be our way of keeping in touch with family and friends as we explore different countries, try new and strange foods (and of course pizza), and see how many times we can avoid airplane fares. These homevideos will be the only souvenir we end up with at the end (only because nothing else will fit in our bags).
