Thanks, Adam, for the tour and all the cordial things you said about Guam. As a second-generation Guamanian American, I appreciate your take on this island gem. Hafa Adai!
I don’t know how I stumbled onto your video but I’m glad I did. Thanks for enjoying our island! We’re getting a Don Don Donki of our own! Supposedly bigger than our Kmart. Hopefully, you can make it back here to check it out. I’d love to see your video about it. Take care!
Im indigenous to Guahan (Guam). Thanks for enjoying my island and sharing what you know with your followers. This is random but has anyone ever told you that you sound a lot like Grizzly from Cartoon Network's We Bare Bears. hope the next time youre on island you shed more light on the southern villages (where Im from). Its culturally rich verses the touristy areas up north. We want the world to be attracted to Guam for other super cool and interesting reasons besides the Tumon hotels and Beaches. OTher than that good foodie vids! Makes me hungerrrryyyy. Si yu'os ma'asi!
We had a major Kmart here in Maui and it looks exactly the same, but our Kmart had more square footage. Sadly, it closed due to Walmart and Target eclipsing the store. Condolences to your family on your mom's homegoing 🙏
Today we join our favourite Bearded Nerd on his trip to Guam where he continues to indulge in delectable food. He goes to one of the last standing K-marts to buy coffee drinks. Then honors his mother by getting her favourite Sandwich/Burger. Those coffee inserts had me chuckling pretty good. 😂
I was visiting my wife in mid March. For about two weeks in Guam. She took a temp spot for 3 months. And I visited here for two weeks. You do a good video. And we made our way to Saipan for a weekend. Spot on. Super empty and depressing. You and my wife definitely overlaped on Guam.
Great video, and i hope and pray your MoM regains some better, and enough strenght so she can visit Guam again 🙏. Thanks for the video, and sharing 🇬🇺.
It's not a trip without a visit to Kings.. best breakfast ever.. after a long night of drinking its the best. Spent 3 years there, 2005 to 2008. Navy. You should go on a boonie stomp, or just travel around the island and visit the little seen places.

Thanks for these videos! Guam is on my bucket-list of places to explore now. Any idea about Real Estate cost? Hawaii (where I grew up) is WAY too expensive, considering actually moving if housing can be found for less than 1 mil :D
i hope in 2024 it doesn't get too busy i like that the beach is secluded. really hyped to go since my partner is part Guamanian, it will be great for my daughters to learn more about their ancestry
God bless you Adam and your entire family. that was awesome what you did in her memory that was very funny how she had that sandwich down to the last bite. hopefully she was having one you at the same time. GOD BLESS AND STAY SAFE
Another great video. The last restaurant was up the hill from where I stayed in 2016. I saw it several times and wanted to eat there. Was Porkies open? Was a great hangout that had an 80's cover band.
loved seeing the food and hearing the stories.... but highlight had to be seeing the k-mart! I might be into trying the ding-dongs flavored latte, haha. appreciate the review of those hostess drinks, for sure. :P definitely great advice at the end, though. looking forward to the next episode!
Fun fact about those cocacola bottles, there is actually 3 in Guam. One in Tumon which was in the video. The other two is located at The Guam Football association. And the other one is located at the cocacola main office in Barrigada.
Great Video Adam. The food looked delicious, You've made me hungry gonna have to go fix myself something to eat now - only got some cup-a-soup in though :-D Wishing you all the best.
Thanks for the vlog! I will visit there next year.. i work in korea and dont want to trek all the way back home to the East coast... btw, panda express is also in Korea. They used to have taco bell once upon a time as well.
This is wild. I live in Indiana, which is on the eastern time zone and it’s about 6:20 AM in India. It’s 10:50 AM in Guam right now. That’s wild. Almost 4 hours ahead of India which is crazy to think about. Maybe even 4 1/2 hours ahead of India. Thanks for the video!
This is awesome content. I will be traveling to Guam by the end of this month or early next , we 're just waiting for my baby niece's tourist visa. And we'll visit my younger sister's family based there. Thank you from the Philippines. This was a long overdue vacation(should have been March of 2020) because COVID eff'd up everything. 🥺
Wow, COVID has really made hotel road look like a ghost town, that area where your walking use to be the busiest tourist area… oh yes use to eat there Eggs & Things but their hours opens later than what your time is entering in for breakfast .. Meskle Dos has another branch at Hotel Road, when I was there, they had (3) locations now they have (4). Your staying at the Reef Hotel, that’s one f the 1st Hotel on Hotel Road since the 70’s, that Hotel is Filipino’s mostly hangs out.

@adamEatsTheWorld I tip my hats off to you sir for making this video while you are in Guam, thank you for doing so. But there is no coffee factory or coffee farm in the island of Guam, every thing is imported. God bless you sir.
I didn't like Kmart in the 80s. At least our local one wasn't very good. Even the prices weren't that great if you wanted something decent. Anyway, I've been to this Kmart on Guam and it's great. It's huge, it's well-stocked, the prices are good, and it's very popular. Lots of Guam souvenirs too. It's strange to say about a Kmart, but it's a must-go place on Guam.

I lived on Guam 1971/1972, while my husband was in the Navy. There was NONE of what you are showing. There were no stores, to speak of. Everything we needed had to come from the Navy Exchange or mail order. There were only two nice hotels. One was the Dai Ichi (sp?) There we’re no real beaches, except at those hotels. Guam is tropical and beautiful❤
Guam is beautiful but very small
Do not do that. Guam is the plebeian a Hawaii.

The best reason to go back to Guam, Ever since you told us about the story of the last console gift by your mom, I've been moved by it
We had a major Kmart here in Maui and it looks exactly the same, but our Kmart had more square footage. Sadly, it closed due to Walmart and Target eclipsing the store. Condolences to your family on your mom's homegoing 🙏
Awesome video man. Been stationed here for 4 years now and absolutely love it. Sorry to hear about your mom, prayers to you and the family.
Great video! I'm glad you enjoyed Guam and that your Mom had good memories of it. Guam has that effect on people.
I have loved this trip, learned so much and it seems like it was cathartic for you. Thanks for taking us along with you again Adam.
These videos are awesome! They deserve hundreds and thousands of views way better then any vlog chanel!

Meskla Dos is a sort of of broken spanish for mezclados or mixed up, seems Guam have been part of Spain in the past.
Correct, we inherited it from Spain after the Spanish/American war.
I was not correct... but the grilled cheese burger story was a much better reality. Happy for you!
I still have binders full of POGs from when I was in elementary school in the 90s. So when you were talking about syrup, thats where my mind went.

That kmart will never close down especially being the last big box store that would be ridiculous

The Kmart in the Florida Keys closed last year. It was the only big box type store there. Without it, Walmart back in the miami area is the closest.

Thats why guam Kmart is making alot because it is the only Kmart in this part!
Did you get to try the chocolate samples?
Not on this trip, but in the past yes.
And there 3 Kmart in USA , bridghamton new York and Westwood new Jersey and Miami Florida are ones left in 2022
There's more than that, but they're mostly in the US territories.
Just read that both Gamestops closed in April. I guess Amazon can remedy that?? Shipping costs to Guam are probably astronomical.
Yeah, they closed. Yes.... though it's US soil so most of the shipping costs are tax subsidized.

There’s 323 Kmarts in Australia and New Zealand

I'd say so.
Why during the winter and not summer? Also where are the ATVs?
Summer gets very very very hot.
I didn't seek out ATVs but I'd imagine more common on the southern side of the island.
Those coffee from Indonesia were not really good and little bit expensive in Indonesia 😀

Not yet, soon to be probably.
