I would love it if you went more into depth in interior lighting in Twinmotion, Justin. As well as how to model for realism, like rounding over corners of objects, etc. Great job, love the series so far! Maybe how to accurately light the glow from a wood stove for those cozy cabin renders 👌
Thank you so much for making this video. I was in the process of learning Enscape in school last quarter but due to COVID19 closure, I could no longer play with Enscape. And I found out I could not run Enscape on my Mac mini with Parallels. My professor suggested to give Twin Motion a try and so here I am!!! When setting up views, is there a way you could make the vertical planes parallel to the frame like in Sketchup? Also, I am curious if there's a way to import scenes from Sketchup. I am much more efficient working with Sketchup scenes so I am wondering if TM has such feature. Thank you again.
@@TheRenderingEssentials I really am. Not alot of tutorials on twinmotion. I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how to work properly with the neon light. I find it very difficult to use where it looks realistic, it's either too dark or too bright. Also, how to use it as a backlight (like behind a wall mounted tv)
i find it very hard and tiring to move the spot light in the spot(object) i mean in the right place do you have any advice? your tutorials are amazing good job
Hey man, I'm grateful for your videos..they are spectacular. Thank you, and continue this excellent work as it helps the whole 3d community and principally beginners like me .. Greetings from Brazil!
hiii ..i am using twinmotion 2020 can u please tell me what does exactly haze do? and where can we see its affects .. and also i am not able to see volimetric shadows in the spotlight ..even after turning it on ...please help
Thank you very much excellent videos greetings from portugal! 2 questions. What lighting for interiors and exteriors at night is better? the twinmotion or lumion? and another question which of the 2 programs are more complete for you?
Not sure on question 1 - I'd say at the moment Lumion's tools are probably a bit further developed - there are a few things, like grass being located at painted materials rather than spread by the brush in Twinmotion that are a bit easier to use. That said, I think Twinmotion has massive potential now with their acquisition by Epic Games and I'm super excited to see what they do with it, especially with any possible Unreal Engine integrations
Not sure what you mean by an outliner. I do note I can turn off the eye in the toolbar menu and turn off a spotlight placed above a ceilng, etc when it no longer shows an icon...but trying to deselect a tool using escape on a mac behaves irregularly....and once the icon is hidden there is no way to adjust the light except to delete it and start over??? I can not re-select a previous light unless the icon is still visible.
Is that the cpu fan speed that we hear in the background whenever you stop talking. The process too seems like it need mode computation power to calculate light emision in realtime.I have a 1050ti will it run twin motion?
Lol - well yes, it is CPU fan speed, but it's also poor PC placement on my part - the PC fans point directly towards my microphone - a 1050ti should be able to run Twinmotion, though I'm not sure if it will run at the highest settings or not :)
Hello sir . I would like to know can we change the intensity of light in walkthrough . Like I want to show zero light intensity to normal after walkthrough enter in the room . Can we do this in twin motion or lumion please help me .
@@TheRenderingEssentials sir please can you make a video on it. In which you show us how to turn on light of all colours in walkthrough . Like moving in a room form kitchen to bed room and then bed room light gets turned on . One by one like 1st the lamp lights turned on, then Ceiling light then, tubelight one by one. Please sir , it will be very much helpful .
Honestly, I'm not sure on the first one - this seems like it should be easy to find, but I can't seem to find it... Image Resolution - th-cam.com/video/MwDWkgbAypk/w-d-xo.html
Did you try increasing the light's power? What kind of light is it? Is it facing the right way? Is it daytime in your render and the option for turn off during the day activated? Need more information
Thank you for this great video. greetings from Nigeria. I have 2 questions. is it possible to export or import from chief architect to Twinmotion? and can I just design in chief architect and bring the image (JPEG format) to start rendering in Twinmotion? thank you
Sorry - I really have no idea because I've never used Chief Architect - can you export to a standard model format like FBX and bring in the models that way?
Hi i have one problem with lights i dont see that little icon of it, i can only see the light itself but whenever i put some lite that icon doesnt show up and i cant move the lights

I think Lumion allows this - I'm not sure that Twinmotion will do it...

Does Twinmotion have fountain effect like in Lumion?
Hi . I wanted to know that how to make any material translucent ? And also how to change export image resolution and format?
Honestly, I'm not sure on the first one - this seems like it should be easy to find, but I can't seem to find it... Image Resolution - th-cam.com/video/MwDWkgbAypk/w-d-xo.html
What can I do when I "lost" the light in my model. I need to change it, but I can't grab the light, maybe it is invisible
good instructions. thx.
Would you use a reflection probe with the mirror material? Thanks :)
I'd say yes
Do you know how to light up the car in twinmotion?....like features in lumion
hi, thanks for your video, when I drag the light I can't see the effect I just see the symbol without any light coming out from it... Any help?
Did you try increasing the light's power? What kind of light is it? Is it facing the right way? Is it daytime in your render and the option for turn off during the day activated? Need more information
How do you select and de select light sources after the icons are hidden?
Click them in your outliner?
Would you care to make a movie about moving objects in different ways in videos? Like door opening or a fan moving
At the moment I don't believe you can
Great video, Thank you!
Thanks Charles!

The Rendering Essentials yes I can export to FBX from chief architect, if Twinmotion has fbx extension

Is there any GI? The final image looked too contrasty. Need more ambient light or something..
You can adjust GI in the lighting settings - haven't tested what that does to your interior artificial lighting yet
do cove light tutorial
Finally! Thanks
Lol - I've been working on it!
I cant rotate my light the way i want it to, can someone has same issuee ?
This is not enough information for anyone to help with your problem...
If I never have to hear the words ‘reflection probe’ again it will be too soon. Here’s hoping for real-time ray tracing for Twinmotion 2020. lol
Lol - They've said they want it in a future version, but I have no idea if it's THIS version or not...
