Brilliant hay hikers are the best. I have one in Australia which I had made in Canada. My 89 year old father picks up 16 round bales at a time. Morris Proag
Excellent video. That’s a cool concept. Looks like they didn’t engineer the pick up arm near beefy enough. I bet u can modify it just great tho! Once you get her dialed in, will be a fantastic implement for you.
Making good progress, guys!! Always bugs to work out it seems. Equipment is more complex now, but you are keeping up with it so good luck!! Lots of bales for practice on anyway!! Take care, 😀
That would get frustrating with that arm not responding properly. Image Shaun had lots to say in the cab fighting with it. 🤣👍🍻. You’ll get it figured I’m sure.
You should call the manufacturer. They may know what to look for because it could be something to do with the joystick. That is where I would start troubleshooting is with the manufacturer as they will want you to be happy with there product no matter its age .
Chance to get something better. Those MX magnums aren't the greatest. Great chance to find an Mx170 maxxum or a 200 Puma. 200 puma is a nice loader tractor.
I can't wrap my mind around why they would build the arm with a clamp type system like that. Bales are heavy...shouldn't be plastic anything involved. Maybe to keep it from bending (make the plastic break instead?)... But some engineer dreamed it up and thought it would be practical. Dumb.
@@Northern_Farmer oh yeah, estate/farm sales are definitely different topic, but how is your survey work going? Been looking for new career ideas myself
Nice to hear Shawn speak lol most I heard him talk in a long time.
Yea I think he talk more on 1 video than all others put together Ths
@@donvoll2580 times 10 .... at least 🤣 what happend?! 😁

I have never seen Shaun talk so much!!!
Looks like you have some more work Tyson, good winter project 👍🏻
I hear a straight piped 6.0 in the background 😅
Hahaha...I had to go back and see where it was..it's loud
@@Northern_Farmer I knew it was Shaun right away lol
Shawn ready to take over the microphone. Be ready for more Shawn farm talk coming your way. Good stuff
Nice, I use a self loading Bale truck 17 bales at a time, made by golden view fabricating, just plumb the lift arm into your tractor remotes
Nice

Maybe ...maybe not
Tyson get some spray called beeswax, we used it on the zoom boom. It's not greasy. Nice unit .
Dang if there wasn’t a commercial after you said, you’ll be right back after these messages. 😂😂😂
Good luck fixing your bale wagon Tyson
Thanks
Good video, Tyson and Shawn. Could you run the bale trailer on three remotes and cut out the electric issues. Do it all manually. 👍
No..because you need 4 remotes
excellent!!
You should talk to Bruce Chern from golden view . He will help you for sure

Did you look at morris hay hikers?
They're quite popular around here.
@@thebreakofdon5188 they seem so light
@@Northern_Farmer ya perhaps, I'm not a bale maker so don't know anything about them.
I would've like to see yours make the third row.
Looks like that arm might be bent or somethin other then that works pretty good
THANKS!
Welcome
Some MBA cost reduced the arm and got a quarterly bonus for his cost reduction.
Shaun said what 😮 that was kool
Haha
Last little footage of the mx 210 😢
Unfortunately yes
@@Northern_Farmer uh oh that doesnt sound good

My extendahoe on my Case 580 Super M had plastic rub pads on it.
look into a highline unit they seem to be good design
👍
Maybe put aluminum the length of the loader arm for wear
Seen on your Instagram ( i think it was insta) your Mx magnum is no longer what caused the fire??
Not sure...but it's wrote off
@@Northern_Farmer more tractor shopping lol. Get a 200 Puma Shawn would like that on a baler and bale hauler.
You guys will figure it out.
That guy must of made 4x4 bales hey
I think the last owner was hauling silage bales and that’s why it’s got the twist.
Midget bales lol
May need to adjust the flow rate on tractor hyd
We did
Time to get an accumulator for the baler and put them in a line. Then I think it will really shine.
Looks like pin in bottom has lots of play
Not that I coukd see
looks like the outside bale guide is splayed out 5 degrees
Shut up Shaun. No just kidding. He talks. That’s awesome
Lol
That trailer would be nice if it was made better.
The trailer itself is pretty good..just the lift arm design isn't great

Totally agree
You should have bought a Morris hay hiker
They are kinda light though
Why doesn't Shawn talk on camera
Very shy. I can relate:)
Looks broken

Why buy more junk, your farm is full of of it. Go out and watch what other farmers are doing..
@waynek921 one man's junk is another man's treasure
Nice video. Too bad you had to fix so much and more to be done. And Shaun needs to shut up, to talkative.
That's auction sales for you...more often than not, people are dumping stuff that they know is broken or about to die.
@jarrettfullerton2580 this was a farm auction ..usually it's different when one farmer sells everything they have
