All these years later and I still haven't gotten my acnh gameplay together. All my islands ended up looking like a 9 year old made it.

I made almost 5 islands, just to delete them a few weeks later 😭 I was never happy with them and thought they wouldn’t look as good as all the 5 star islands on YT 😔 but now I’ve got my dream island and I’m still motivated, since I just *go with the flow* bc I was so stressed to „fit a theme“
Focus on one framed shot at a time. The immediate area you can see is your primary concern. Don’t move on until that one frame is perfect. This includes pathing, terraforming, objects, ect.
i feel okay about my island layout and decor and then Lex uploads another video and I realize that mine is kindergarten and everyone else in like sophomores in college.... (as a college student i feel this sums it up perfectly)

I get so much inspiration from these videos. I just picked up acnh in August for the first time ever and my island is still very much under construction but I just hit 5 stars because of some of my mini builds. Hopefully when I’m down (maybe in a year) I can send my DA to you and you can explore!!

I wish there were more islands that didn’t use any custom items. I want to see what people can do with what you’re given. Of course all these islands are stunning but I’m always put off trying to replicate things because I hate using custom paths etc.
my next video is actually going to be cool ways to use in-game paths...i know customs can be a little much sometimes. maybe i can scrounge up some cool no-customs islands to feature in the future :)

Wish we could set a season on our island so it stays constant without having to time travel…. Since these island themes are set in autumn, or winter, etc… I am working on my island now in winter and don’t want to have to time travel to spring when it would look the best.

Pls help me, I bought my seventh nook miles ticket and the game keeps sending me to apple islands :( they don’t send me to any other fruit islands it’s always apples. Dose anyone knows what should I do ?
it’s random, so you’ve just gotta keep going :’) nook mile islands will only provide one other fruit-your sister fruit. so i have pears as my native fruit and then i can find apples on mystery islands!
