No vans were always made out of canvas. this is an awesome leather custom made version of it but nothing like what they are supposed to look or feel like.

tell u a story about Vans, last pair i got was late 80s, then i got a pair in 2008 and was shocked by the quality. Vans are crap now, back in the day they were heavier.

Looks like a cup sole. They can be bought separately
Would have been cool to stitch the outside of the midsole , so there’s no separation after wear. That’s the number one thing I hate about regular vans

@@_PatG_ .. $50 to you may seem like 5 cents but, $50 to others could be $50k! Stating the price isn't an excuse for poor quality! Given.... how many years the Company has been around... the time and money put into R&D while experimenting with various materials and suppliers, etc.! They've profited exponentially over the years... Enough, to develop and/or find a quality adhesive with tightened quality control to ensure EVERYONE recieves a Quality Product that can be cherished without remorse!!! But... hey, it's "only" $50... Meer pennies to someone with your superior wealth!!! The peasants bow in envy and fear of your superior wealth!!! You are above Anyone that doesn't possess your wealth and material objects!!!
